Abstract

The Ciguatera Fish Poisoning (CFP) causing microorganisms were observed at the reef flat of Penjaliran Barat Islands and Pramuka Islands District, Seribu Island National Park, North Jakarta, Indonesia. Of the samples collected, four potentially toxic benthic dinoflagellates species were found, which are Gambierdiscus toxicus, Prorocentrum concavum, Prorocentrum lima, and Ostreopsis lenticularis. The dinoflagellates were found attached on the brown macroalgae Padina and Sargassum. Most of the benthic dinoflagellates from both locations were found in Pramuka Islands District, the inhabitated islands where human activities which could damage the coral reef areas were relatively high. Beside the macroalgae substrate preference of each dinoflagellate species, several environmental factors were also obtained in this research.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan menulis paragraf padamahasiswa S1 PGSD kelas I semester II tahun 2012. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitiantindakan kelas (PTK). Objek penelitian adalah mahasiswa PGSD semester II kelas I yangberjumlah 30 mahasiswa. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan test menulis, sedangkanteknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik deskriptifkualitatif. Hasil kegiatan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan bahwa terdapat peningkatkandalam menulis paragraf pada mahasiswa PGSD semester II kelas I seperti berikut: 1)pada siklus I, mahasiswa yang memenuhi nilai KKM ada 43%, 2) masalah-masalah ataukesulitan yang masih dialami oleh para mahasiswa pada siklus I antara lain meliputiunsur kelengkapan, EYD, dan penggunaan kalimat efektif. 3) nilai rata-rata meningkatdari 65 menjadi 68,2. 2) Pada siklus II, mahasiswa yang memenuhi nilai KKM meningkatmenjadi 73%, dan nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 72,1. 4) pembelajaran dengan modeljigsaw merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang efektif dan tepat, serta dapatmemaksimalkan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: keterampilan menulis paragraf, model jigsaw
