Abstract

Gea Craft is a small business engaged in the production various types of woman's bag from cow leather up to aged fiber with make to order production system. Leather cutting worker state feels discomfort when working and often get pain complaints from some parts of his body. It impacts to disrupt work activities and normal activities. The research aims to improve the working posture of leather cutting and accelerate the time required for process of cutting the leather by designing leather cutting machine by using rational methods. The results of this research is a leather cutting machine design which can cut the risk level from assess work posture by Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method that decreases the score become 1 (there is no significant risk) and decrease the time process of leather cutting to 26.264%.

Abstract

Blue Residence Kos is a boarding house in West Jakarta. This business has been going on for a long time and and over time, the boarding house owner also needs to consider the potential risk of being lonely due to the loss of attractiveness of the boarding house. This business has a high customer turnover rate and many boarding rooms are found to be unoccupied. For this reason, it is necessary to control the quality of boarding services provided in services and facilities. This study examines the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty boarding. It is proven that customer satisfaction and loyalty are influenced by service quality and boarding facilities. Customer satisfaction is affected by the variable boarding facilities and boarding services significantly and both variables affect simultaneously by 63.9%. Customer loyalty is not significantly affected by the variable costing facilities, but is significantly affected by the variable costing services. Simultaneously, customer loyalty is influenced by these two variables by 72.5%. Customer satisfaction regression formula Y1 = 1.379 + 0.423 X1 + 0.500 X2 and customer loyalty regression formula Y2 = -3.178 + 0.204 X1 + 0.775 X2. Researchers propose improvements with the QFD method and obtain a ranking of improvement priorities that have been evaluated for their level of competitiveness with competitors of the Blue Residence boarding house. Researchers also use quality management tools to control quality, namely Check Sheet, Pareto Diagram, and Fishbone.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has caused drastic changes in the world in recent decades. One of the information systems that companies need to increase sales is a catalogue. Product catalogues are an effective marketing tool for promoting company products and attracting potential buyers. The purpose of this research is to create a visual catalogue display that is easy to use and efficient for users so that users can quickly and easily find and get information about the products they need. The method used in this study is to collect the data information needed in the catalogue. The results of the product catalogue design are analyzed using an ergonomic approach, including the Visual Acuity, font size, and analysis of the colour composition between the characters and the background along with their psychic effects. Visual acuity obtained is 0.013 minutes. The results of the recommended font size are smaller than the actual font size, so it means that the font size on the product catalogue website display is ideal . The results of colour analysis on the website also provide good legibility and provide a clean and calming effect.

Abstract

Daerah Magelang Jawa Tengah Yogyakarta, terdapat banyak industri kecil kerajinan. Nilai skor postur kerja turun, setelah dilakukan perbaikan fasilitas kerja.

Abstract

Honey is a key raw material in the traditional medicine industry, processed through a supply chain that involves various stakeholders, such as suppliers, producers, and distributors. However, the management of the honey supply chain faces several challenges, particularly related to waste, including overproduction, excess inventory of raw materials, and defective products. This study aims to develop a framework for reducing waste in the honey supply chain using a Seven Wastes approach to identify problems, conduct root cause analysis through a fishbone diagram, and map the roles and classifications of stakeholders in implementing solutions. The results indicate that waste is caused by various factors, and the roles of stakeholders are classified based on supply chain drivers. This classification includes the management of machine capacity and maintenance at facilities, the implementation of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Just-in-Time (JIT), safety stock systems, as well as improvements in raw material quality in inventory management and procurement, and information classification using a forecasting system based on historical data. The implementation of these solutions is expected to optimize supply chain management and reduce waste.
