Abstract

Principal leadership in educational institutions has a fairly heavy responsibility, as leaders are required to have the ability in the field of management, and motivate to improve quality results. But not a few of the principals who experience obstacles in managing it and affect the quality of the school. This article attempts to identify the principal's leadership style towards the school's external quality assurance system. The method used is a systematic literature review, namely by documenting and reviewing all articles related to the principal's leadership style and external quality assurance system. Researchers searched for data using journal articles, found as many as 27 articles between 2015-2021 in Google Scholar, Research Gate, SINTA, JAMP, and Academia. The results show that the success of an educational institution is determined by the role of its leader, democratic, innovative, effective, dynamic, and transformational leadership styles can improve the school's external quality assurance system.

Abstract

One of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic is on the education sector with the implementation of the SFH policy which makes all teaching and learning activities carried out online. This study aims to determine the problems of guardians of elementary level Muhammadiyah school students in Sidoarjo Regency in accompanying online learning. This research uses a case study approach, the main research subject is the guardian of Muhammadiyah school students. The data collection method used is the Google Form questionnaire and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of three activity lines, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were 5 problems faced by the guardians of the students, namely: First, difficulties in mentoring. Second, the student's learning load is heavy. Third, internet quota and network problems. Fourth, the limitations of online learning media. Fifth, it is difficult to condition the children at Home.

Abstract

As is the case in other regions, the management of waqf land in the Penataran Sewu Branch, Sidoarjo is not yet optimal, even though it has great potential if managed properly. This is caused by the knowledge, insight and skills of the Sweu Penataran Branch in managing waqf land to become productive rice field rentals and making waqf land as a medium of da'wah which is still limited. Therefore, a community service program was carried out with the aim of the Muhammadiyah leadership and members launching the Sewu Upgrading. To achieve the goal, several methods of activity were used including coordination, counselling, training, as well as mentoring and monitoring evaluation. The results of the community service program show that the community service program has been carried out well, with organized land waste management and the provision of independent treatment by members who grumble at Muhammadiyah who are productive. Muhammadiyah leaders and members gain knowledge, insight and skills in managing waqf land into productive land so that it can become a media for da'wah bil hal and become an example for the community and other branches in managing waqf land
