Abstract

Religion is often alleged for being a barrier to development. Pesantren, as one of the instruments of religious empowerment, has occasionally even become subjects juxtaposed with religious failures. In contrast, pesantren has never been modest and consistently responded to every detail of changes. This is where the innovative and creative behavior of pesantren communities is examined. This study aims to analyze such pesantrens in Lombok island to improve innovation and creativity to enter the economic and business domain. This study enriches the discourse of economic communities in the pesantren for which some have been structured and others are still looking for ideal patterns for the economic changes that occur in society. Keywords: social change, paradigm, pesantren, entrepreneurship

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan polemik pendirian organisasi baru dengan nama Nahdlatul Wathan Diniyah Islamiyah (NWDI). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kenapa organisasi NW terbagi menjadi dua kubu, ingin mengetahui bagaimana respon masyargakat NW terhadap organisasi NWDI yang didirikan di Pancor dan bagaimana Organisasi NW dan NWDI dalam menerapkan Ukhuwah Nahdiyyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif, yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian di lapangan. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata-kata atau gambar, bukan angka atau statistik. Metode deskriptif ini menjabarkan situasi apa adanya mengenai konflik atau keadaan dari temuan di lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ketika hasil mukhtamar menetapkan Ummi Raehanun sebagai PBNW, pihak Pancor tidak menyetujui ketetapan tersebut dengan alasan bahwa "perempuan tidak boleh dijadikan pemimpin" berlandaskan mazhab Imam Syafi’i. Akibatnya, terjadi percekcokan dan pertikaian antara kubu Ummi Raehanun dan kubu Ummi Rauhun. Ummi Raehanun kemudian berpindah ke Kalijaga untuk melanjutkan perjuangan Maulana Syaikh selama 2 tahun, sebelum akhirnya pindah lagi ke Anjani sampai sekarang. Respon masyarakat NW terhadap organisasi NWDI yang didirikan di Pancor adalah bahwa organisasi tersebut berdiri tanpa persetujuan PBNW yang sah, berbeda dengan NWDI yang merupakan lembaga pendidikan. Sementara itu, NWDI di Anjani juga adalah lembaga pendidikan. Kedua organisasi, NW dan NWDI, berjalan sesuai visi dan misinya masing-masing, meskipun merupakan entitas yang berbeda. Pesan dari TGB. Dr. H. Muhammad Zainul Majdi adalah bahwa NWDI adalah tempat untuk ber-NW melalui organisasi, sedangkan NW adalah risalah perjuangan. Organisasi NW dan NWDI sama-sama menjalankan urusan agama dan kemaslahatan umat. NW saat ini menerapkan Ukhuwah Nahdiyyah melalui silaturahmi, gotong royong, dan lain sebagainya. NWDI juga menerapkan Ukhuwah Nahdiyyah dengan menekankan ajaran Maulana Syaikh dalam pesan-pesan moral. Kedua organisasi ini menekankan pentingnya persahabatan, kesopanan, dan keramahtamahan, serta menolak perpecahan. Organisasi NWDI berusaha menunjukkan kepada masyarakat bahwa NWDI adalah organisasi yang didirikan baru-baru ini, sehingga tidak ada kebingungan mengenai keberadaan dua organisasi NW. NWDI selalu menjaga kecintaan yang mendalam kepada Maulana Syaikh, sehingga Ukhuwah jamaah terbangun dengan sendirinya tanpa memandang golongan apapun.

Abstract

Women's education within families plays a crucial role in shaping the perception of the ideal woman in society. This study explores female education within the Sasak, Samawa and Mbojo (Sasambo) tribes in West Nusa Tenggara. A descriptive qualitative approach using phenomenology is used in the research. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentary studies that involved cultural/community leaders and several female community members aged at least 18 years. The results of this study indicate that the educational materials in the three tribes reveal the significant impact of local culture in determining the educational methodology employed. Though each tribe's education features varying elements, they all express cultural, traditional, and religious values in their approach. However, in terms of gender equality and equity, several noteworthy limitations to women's education were revealed in these three tribes. These encompass customary expectations linked to women, societal restrictions that curtail women's autonomy and liberty, and gender responsibilities that do not grant equitable options for women. To address these challenges, the research proposes various actions, including fostering educational programmes that enhance the empowerment of women, encouraging more flexible sharing of roles, respecting women's educational and career choices, and educating on gender equality and justice.

Abstract

The philosophy of life, a legacy of values inherited from generation to generation, provides an essential guide to mindset, behavior, and attitude. In the Indonesian context, these philosophies are the main guide in life at the individual and social levels. This study aims to explore the existence of the Nggusu Waru philosophy in Dompu society, involving those from Baby Boomers to Gen-Z. This study employed a qualitative method. The data were collected from observation, document analysis, and interviews. This study revealed a significant decline in the understanding and implementation of the Nggusu Waru philosophy among the Dompu people. Mostly, the local people are no longer familiar with the philosophy, others have limited understanding, and only a small proportion of the Baby Boomer group showed proper understanding and implementation. Factors contributing to this trend include modernization, education, social environment, and the application of traditional values in the contemporary era. This study emphasizes the necessity of preserving, understanding, and reviving traditional values, a major concern for the people of Dompu in West Nusa Tenggara Province.

Abstract

The research aims to: (1) explore information about the development of standards for the content of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum at SMP Negeri 9 Mataram; (2) understand the development of standards for the Islamic Religious Education curriculum process; and (3) identifying the development of Islamic Religious Education curriculum assessment standards. This research methodology is qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data is tested through careful observation, triangulation and verification. The analysis process involves data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusions. Research findings show that at SMP Negeri 9 Mataram, the development of content standards includes the formation of extracurricular activities. Meanwhile, the development of process standards involves the implementation of a hidden curriculum, especially the role of teachers as role models. The development of assessment standards includes the integration of three aspects of assessment: attitudes, knowledge and skills, involving the role of parents.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Maple Trigonometry-integrated Trigonometry Course teaching materials for students on Mathematics Department. The Development research using Hannafin and Peck models. The results show that teaching materials are appropriate to use. Based on the perceptions of experts and students related to the material aspects and presentation aspects are considered good and satisfying. The use of Maple is still at the level of 65% - 80% in trigonometric teaching material. This is caused by some trigonometry material which cannot be used using Maple as in proving the identity formula of trigonometry. Maple is a tool for solving the problems. Learning submission for students in Trigonometry courses is 72% greater than the completeness determined by 70%. Integration and interconnection of Islamic values in trigonometric material is not yet occurring.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is focused on efforts to assess quality and predict the leadership prospects of female madrasa leaders in pondok pesantren in West Lombok Regency. Using the qualitative-descriptive approach, the author seeks to express the quality of women's leadership based on perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of some women in the position of head of the madrasa through interviews and observation. This study found that the leadership of female in madrasa can be categorized as having good quality. Based on the nine indicators used, there are seven indicators that appear in all research subjects, namely emotional maturity, objective, perceptive, adaptation, initiative, creativity, and communication skills. Responsibility indicators do not appear optimally in one subject of the study. Likewise, indicators of confidence. Women have good prospects to be in the leadership position because of quality. There is no significant rejection of female leaders, and there is no differentiation of opportunities for women and men to become leaders, as long as they have the ability.Abstrak Kajian ini difokuskan pada upaya menilai kualitas dan memprediksi prospek kepemimpinan kepala madrasah perempuan di pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, karena penulis berupaya mengungkapkan kualitas kepemimpinan perempuan berdasarkan persepsi, sikap, dan perilaku dari beberapa perempuan pada posisi jabatan kepala madrasah yang berada di lingkungan pondok pesantren, melalui wawancara dan observasi. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah perempuan di pondok pesantren dapat dikategorikan memiliki kualitas yang cukup baik. Berdasarkan sembilan indikator yang digunakan, terdapat tujuh indikator yang muncul pada semua subjek penelitian yaitu kedewasaan emosional, objektif, perseptif, adaptasi, inisiatif, kreativitas, dan skill berkomunikasi. Indikator tanggungjawab tidak muncul secara maksimal pada satu subjek penelitian. Demikian juga indikator percaya diri. Perempuan memiliki prospek yang baik untuk berada di posisi pimpinan karena adanya kualitas. Tidak ada penolakan signifikan terhadap pemimpin perempuan, dan tidak ada pembedaan kesempatan bagi perempuan dan laki-laki untuk menjadi pemimpin, selama memiliki kemampuan.
