Abstract

Mental disorder, especially a psychotic (schizophrenia) is chronic condition that the clients have deterioration on their daily activity and social relationship (social isolation). The clients try to keep away from other interaction. This research aim was to identify the relationship between family knowledge and the client socialization ability. The design was a descriptive correlation with cross sectional. The samples were 78 families determined by total sampling. The inclusion criteria were thecitizen of Nangkaan sub distric, and accord as a respondent, having mental health disorders family member with social isolation, age between 18-60 years, and educational background at least Elementary School. The result shown that a significant relationship between family knowledge with the client socialization ability (value p < 0,05). Based on the result, it is recommended that the community nurse knowledge about social isolation client and family psycho education should beimproved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan pasien rawat jalan di Puskesmas Tangkahen Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Pendekatan deskriptif korelasional dengan desain cross-sectional digunakan. Sampel terdiri dari 94 pasien rawat jalan yang dipilih melalui consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner tentang perilaku caring perawat, akses pelayanan, kenyamanan lingkungan, ketersediaan obat-obatan, dan kepuasan pasien. Analisis menggunakan metode univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara perilaku caring perawat (p=0,038), akses pelayanan (p=0,000), kenyamanan lingkungan (p=0,000), ketersediaan obat-obatan (p=0,000) dengan kepuasan pasien. Akses pelayanan muncul sebagai faktor yang paling berpengaruh. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya meningkatkan akses pelayanan, meningkatkan perilaku caring perawat, memastikan ketersediaan obat-obatan, dan menjaga kenyamanan lingkungan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien rawat jalan di puskesmas Keyword: Akses Pelayanan, Kepuasan Pasien, Ketersediaan Obat-Obatan, Perilaku Caring Perawat, Puskesmas

Abstract

Background: The Dayak Ngaju community in Palangka Raya, continues to practice traditional healing rituals despite the availability of modern healthcare services. Preferences for rituals such as Sangiang, Nyadiri, and Balian reflect the community's strong cultural identity and belief in supernatural healing. Objective: This study aims to explore the subjective experiences of the Dayak Ngaju people in undergoing healing processes through traditional rituals. Methods: This research employed a qualitative approach with an phenomenological design. A total of 10 participants were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and field notes. Thematic analysis using Colaizzi’s method was applied, involving seven stages. Results: Thematic analysis revealed nine key themes: (1) cultural background and connection, (2) factors influencing the choice of ritual, (3) personal experiences with ritual healing, (4) traditional healing practices of Dayak Ngaju, (5) meaning and beliefs about rituals, (6) interaction with modern healthcare systems, (7) sociocultural influences, (8) hopes for the future of the tradition, and (9) expectations and utilization. The findings underscore the importance of integrating transcultural perspectives into nursing practice and highlight the need for culturally sensitive care, improved cultural competence among healthcare providers, and collaborative approaches between traditional healers and medical professionals within inclusive healthcare systems
