Abstract

Classroom teaching learning activity, especially English classroom taching and learning is a kind of communication between teachers and and students. In this course both teachers and students use nonverbal and verbal to communicate consiciously and unconcisously. Teachers, especially English teachers, as a bridge to international communication and information-sender, should be strongly aware of the importance of nonverbal communication to promote the English competence of the studentsKeywords: nonverbal communication, English teach.Aktivitas pembelajaran dan pengajaran di kelas, khususnya pembelajaran dan pengajaran bahasa Inggris merupakan suatu bentuk komunikasi antara guru dan siswa. Dalam hal ini baik para guru dan siswa menggunakan komunikasi baik verbal maupun nonverbal baik secara sadar maupun tidak sadar. Pengajar bahasa Inggris seharusnya mempunyai kesadaran secara kuat terhadap pentingnya komunikasi nonverbal untuk meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris siswa.Kata kunci: komunikasi nonverbal, pengajaran bahasa Inggris

Abstract

The Grabag Guide application was created in 2023 and is used by more than 200 users and there are problems in terms of user ease in accessing information in the application. The aim of this research is to analyze the quality of the Grabag Guide Android application using the ISO/IEC 25010 standard and provide recommendations for improving the quality of the application. The method used is a quantitative method where data from respondents is used as many as 42 users. The questionnaire results were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model. The result is that of the seven hypotheses proposed, six hypotheses have a positive and significant effect on application performance. Functional outcome scores (CR 1.980), compatibility (CR 1.825), ease of use (CR 2.225), reliability (CR 4.150), security (CR 3.789), maintainability (CR 2.631), and portability (CR 2.067). In conclusion, the important feature is compatibility, so this feature can be prioritized when evaluating the quality of the Grabag Guide application. The results of this research can be used as parameters for creating quality tourism applications in other sub-districts in Magelang Regency.

Abstract

Keberhasilan program pembelajaran berkait langsung dengan model  pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Suatu model pembelajaran umumnya di samping didesain memiliki tujuan jangka pendek juga memiliki tujuan jangka panjang, yang akan berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan seseorang. Proses belajar-mengajar yang mengimplementasikan desain task-based learning, pengajar memberikan berbagai macam tugas yang berupa aktivitas-aktivitas belajar berkomunikasi dalam bahasa target yang lebih memfokuskan arti dan nilai  daripada aturan bahasa. Tugas-tugas tersebut menekankan pada pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, yaitu tujuan komunikatif.Beragamnya model pembelajaran ditentukan oleh beragamnya tujuan (hasil belajar) yang ingin dicapai dalam proses pembelajaran tersebut. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya task-based teaching and learning dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris.   Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, task-based teaching and learning

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat merancang dan membangun media pembelajaran agama tentang huruf hijiyah di SDN Wates 1 Kota Magelang yang mampu membantu siswa dalam mempelajari salah satu materi dalam mata huruf hijaiyah. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan ini adalah menggunakan metode MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) dengan tahap penelitian yang meliputi : Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, Distribution. Metode pengumpulan data dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Perancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pemodelan UML (Unified Modeling Language), Seorang perancang sistem harus mengikuti aturan-aturan yang ada ketika dia menggunakan permodelan UML ini. Pengujian sistem pada penelitian ini menggunakan Black-box Testing. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi yang mudah di pahami dan dipelajari dalam penyampaian materi huruf hijiayah dan dapat meningkatkan capaian hasil belajar bagi Siswa di SDN Wates 1 Kota Magelang.

Abstract

Designing an Academic Information System at SD Mutual 2 Magelang City Using PHP and MySQL " aims to be able to design and build an academic information system that will be applied to Mutual 2 Elementary School Magelang City, and to be able to find out the impact of implementing an academic information system that will be applied to SD Mutual 2 City of Magelang. The research methodology used is the Waterfall method with the stages of the Waterfall method including 1. Requirements Analysis, 2. Design, 3. Development, 4. Testing, 5. Maintenance proposed by Pressman and Maxim (2015). The design used in this method is DFD (Data Flow Diagram), which consists of four main components, namely data input, data output, data storage, and process. The Flow of Document (FOD) is used to describe ongoing procedures. The programming language used is PHP and uses the MySQL database. The results of research conducted by researchers will produce a web-based academic information system that can be used by admin or administration, principals, teachers, staff and students. Management of teacher and staff data as well as student data is managed by the admin or administration while student value data is managed by the teacher.

Abstract

The role of work based learning is very important for providing qualified labors needed by industry. A central argument in favor of work-based learning is that students acquire various practical skills and that they learn about industries and careers. After graduating from vocational education, the students are ready to enter the labor market so that the vocational school should design the curriculum which is relevant with the demand of labor market.

Abstract

Bullying cases among elementary school students have become increasingly alarming because they negatively impact children’s psychological, social, and moral development, making early intervention essential. This community service project was designed to strengthen students’ understanding and character formation as a preventive effort against bullying behavior. The program was carried out at SD Wonolelo, a rural elementary school, involving 18 sixth-grade students and one accompanying teacher who participated actively in each session. The methods used consisted of interactive socialization and role-playing activities implemented through three stages: delivery of material, interactive question-and-answer discussion, and final evaluation. The results show a significant increase in students’ comprehension of bullying, rising from 30% before the activity to 90% afterward, indicating the program’s strong impact on learning. Beyond improved understanding, the initiative successfully cultivated empathy, cooperation, and social awareness among students so that they not only refrain from bullying but also feel responsible for preventing it within their environment. Overall, the program proved effective in promoting anti-bullying awareness, shaping positive character traits, and supporting the development of a safer and more inclusive culture at the elementary school level.
