Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Final waste disposal site in Jatibarang represent accumulative site of various waste from various activities in Semarang city and its surroundings. It may become an environmental contamination sources, such as air, water, land contamination, and also in living organism. The contamination substance that generally exists in the waste disposal site is toxic substance, such as lead (Pb). The disposal site in Jatibarang is used as pasturing site for beef cattle. The beef cattle consumed the organic disposal and leachate as food sources. By consuming the organic disposal and leachate from the area, the cattle may be contaminated from toxic substance (for example, Lead) that can be distributed to all part of the body of the cattle. If human being consume the meat of cattle, the body maybe contaminated by toxic substance. It may couse an adverse effect since it is accumulated in the body. Lead (Pb) may cause erythrocytes, and kidney degenerative, disorder on reproduction system, nerve system, stimulate cancer and IQ degradation. The objective of this  research was  to analyze the risk of toxic substance contamination from lead on beef cattle at  waste disposal site Jatibarang Semarang. Methods: This Study was a survey research with a cross sectional approach. Total sample of beef cattle (41, 6 samples) were taken from disposal site and  3 samples of leachate were taken from waste disposal site Jatibarang Semarang. Data were analysed using AAS for  laboratorium examination and also observation of the site. The data obtained was  analyzed by partial correlation analysis (to know the correlation between independent variable and dependent variable) Results: Analysis showed that there was significant correlation between Pb concentration in waste and Pb concentration in cattle urine  p = 0,865 r = 0,0281 old disposal (unorganic disposal that has been serapped by the cattle) p = 0,427 r = 0,1309, leachate (cattle drinking water) p = 1,000 r = 0,0001, cattle’s weight p = 0,0001 r = 0,8114, cattle’s age p = 0,0001 r = 0,7049.The conclusion of this  research is that independent variable such as Pb has in waste correlation  in waste with risk contamination of lead in beef cattle at waste disposal site Jatibarang. Abstract

Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan komunikasi ilmiah siswa melalui model kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write siswa kelas IV SDN Bulu Lor Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write yang dilakukan beberapa siklus , setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah guru kelas IV dan siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah 33 yang terdiri dari 17 siswa laki-laki, 16 siswa perempuan SDN Bulu Lor Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi.  Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah: 1) Pada siklus I rata-rata perolehan skor kemampuan guru adalah 3,16 dengan kategori baik, pada siklus II rata-rata perolehan skor kemampuan guru meningkat menjadi 3,8 dengan kategori sangat baik, 2) Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I diperoleh total skor 2,54 dengan kategori baik, dan pada siklus II perolehan skor meningkat menjadi 3,3 dengan kategori sangat baik, 3) Pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajara klasikal mencapai 72,7% (24 dari 33 siswa yang tuntas mencapai KKM ≥ 63) dengan rerata kelas adalah 73,3 dan pada siklus II ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal meningkat menjadi 87,9% (29 dari 33 siswa) dengan rerata kelas adalah 81,4.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA melalui model kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write dapat meningkatkan, kemampuan guru, aktivitas komunikasi siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Bulu Lor Semarang.  The general objective of this research is to improve students' scientific communication through the cooperative model of Think Talk Write Type IV grade students of SDN fur Lor Semarang. This type of study is classroom action research using a model of cooperative type of Think Talk Write conducted several cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation of the action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were fourth grade teachers and fourth grade students with the number 33 which consists of 17 boys, 16 girls SDN fur Lor Semarang. Data collection techniques using tests, observation and documentation. The results obtained are: 1) In the I cycle an average gain score of 3.16 with the ability of teachers is a good category, the second cycle the average gain score of the ability of teachers increased to 3.8 with very good category, 2) student activities in cycle I gained a total score of 2.54 with either category, and the second cycle of acquisition score increased to 3.3 with very good category, 3) On the cycle I learn some vital lessons classical completeness result reached 72.7% (24 out of 33 students who completed KKM achieve ≥ 63) with the average grade is 73.3 and the second cycle learning outcomes classical completeness increased to 87.9% (29 of 33 students) with a grade average is 81.4. Based on the results of the study concluded that cooperative learning science through models of the type of Think Talk Write to increase, the ability of teachers, students of communication activities, and fourth grade students' Fur SDN Lor Semarang.
