Abstract

Oithona sp. merupakan salah satu jenis copepoda yang memungkinkan untuk dikembangkan sebagai substitusi pakan pengganti Artemia. Oithona sp. juga mempunyai  kandungan nutrisi yang lebih baik dari Artemia. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kombinasi pakan alami sel fitoplankton dan bahan organik (bekatul, ampas tahu, tepung ikan) yang difermentasi terhadap performa pertumbuhan Oithona sp., selain itu juga untuk mengetahui dosis kombinasi pakan alami sel fitoplankton dan bahan organik (bekatul, ampas tahu, tepung ikan) yang difermentasi yang memberikan performa pertumbuhan Oithona sp. terbaik.Metode yang digunakan selama penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5  perlakuan 3 kali ulangan. Kultur Oithona sp. dilakukan di botol kaca dengan volume 10 mL dan kepadatan awal Oithona sp. 1 ind/mL. Pemeliharaan dilakukan selama 21 hari. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu A (100% fitoplankton : 0% fermentasi), B (75% fitoplankton : 25% fermentasi), C (50% fitoplankton : 50% fermentasi), D (25% fitoplankton : 75% fermentasi), E (0% fitoplankton: 100% fermentasi). Pakan Alami sel fitoplankton yang digunakan yaitu Chaetoceros calcitrans dan Isochrysis galbana, sedangkan bahan organik yang digunakan yaitu bekatul ampas tahu dan tepung ikan dengan perbandingan 35%: 35%: 30%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian kombinasi pakan alami sel fitoplankton dan bahan organik yang difermentasi berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap performa pertumbuhan Oithona sp. Pemberian  fitoplankton 50% dan fermentasi 50% merupakan dosis terbaik dalam penelitian ini. Kepadatan puncak Oithona sp. dengan pemberian fitoplankton 50% dan fermentasi 50% mencapai 14,333 ± 0,115 ind/ml, sedangkan kepadatan naupli dengan pemberian fitoplankton 50% dan fermentasi 50% mencapai 6,930 ± 0,360 ind/ml, kepadatan copepodit 7,470 ± 0,321 ind/ml, kepadatan dewasa 8,970 ± 0,500 ind/ml. Oithona sp. is one of copepods that possibly can be developed as substitution food replacement for Artemia. This study was done with the aims to determined the effect of combination of live food organisms of fitoplankton cells and fermented organic matters on the growth performances of Oithona sp., moreover to determine the dosage of fitoplankton cells and fermented organic matters that gives the good growth  performances of Oithona sp.The method experiment used in this research. There was designed by completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replicates respectively. Those treatments were A (100% phytoplankton: 0% fermentation), B (75% phytoplankton: 25% fermentation), C (50% phytoplankton: 50% fermentation), D (25% of phytoplankton: 75% fermentation), E (0% phytoplankton: 100% fermentation). The culture was conducted in glass bottle with 10 ml in volume and the initial density of 1 ind/ml. Maintenance was caried out for 21 days. Chaetoceros calcitrans and Isochrysis galbana used as live food in this research. Rice bran, tofu waste and fish meal used as organic matters with a ratio 35% : 35% : 30%. The results showed combination of live food organism of fitoplankton cells and fermented organic matters were significantly effected (P<0.05) on the growth performances of Oithona sp. The treatment of phytoplankton 50% and 50% fermented organic matters was the best dosage that gives the good growth performances of Oithona sp. The highest density reached 14.333 ± 0.115 ind / ml, whereas naupli density, copepodit density, and adult density reached 6.930 ± 0.360 ind / ml, 7.470 ± 0.321 ind / ml, 8.970 ± 0.500 ind / ml respectively.

Abstract

Islamic studies which are mostly carried out by Muslim academies, are apparently considered apologetic by Majid Daneshgar. According to Daneshgar, Islamic apologetics refer to a set of scholarly approaches and practices rooted in Muslim academies around the world that effectively protect Muslims from critical thinking about Islam and the koran. Through qualitative methods using literature study. This paper will analyze and criticize Daneshgar’s thinking using Jarl Manheim’s theory of the sociology of knowledge. The results of this research found two important points.  First, Daneshgar's thesis on the apologetics of Islamic studies in the Muslim academic environment cannot be separated from Majid Daneshgar's socio-historical construction.  How Daneshgar grew up in a Shiite tradition and was influenced by critical thoughts from Western scholars.  Second.  Daneshgar has overgeneralized Muslim academies.  Daneshgar only focuses on apologetic studies and ignores critical studies conducted by Muslim academies.  The most important finding from this research is that not all Western scholars' thoughts are suitable and should be adopted by Muslims.  The dominance of Western thought will make Muslims trapped in a captive mind so that Muslims lose their own originality.

Abstract

This paper is motivated by the phenomenon of educators or policy holders who are dragged into the whirlwind of narrow and rigid transnational exclusive ideologies in the midst of the rampant growth of foreign educational institutions that are not rooted in Indonesian traditions as brought by transnational Islamic schools. In this case, the methodology of pesantren with its multicultural value is believed to be able to revitalize homogeneous mentality in madrasah institutions to produce friendly individuals and recognize diversity. Departing from this anxiety, this paper discusses three questions, first, what are the symbols and values in multiculturalism pesantren. Second, what is the urgency of the continuity of instilling the value of multiculturalism in Islamic boarding schools for madrasas. Third, what is the importance of revitalizing the values of multiculturalism of pesantren for madrassas in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with library research data collection techniques. The collected data will be reduced as needed and analyzed to obtain conclusions that are in accordance with the problems raised. The results of this research are first, multiculturalism pesantren must fulfill several elements such as kyai, santri, dormitory or cottage, mosque, yellow book and scientific transfer as the parent of Islamic education. Second, madrasas that have been the target of radicalism are very urgent to continue the value of multiculturalism as its parent, so that it is maintained from tranquility and peace and does not fall into modernity. Third, the revitalization of the values of multiculturalism in madrassas is important because the majority of pesantren are dominated by madrasah residents. The goal is to foster a sense of empathy and the value of equality in human relations, so that radicalism values can be overcome.

Abstract

Keraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat merupakan simbol akulturasi budaya yang mencerminkan perpaduan harmonis antara Islam dan tradisi Jawa.Sebagai pusat spiritual, sosial, dan budaya, keraton ini menjadi representasi nyata dari Islam-Jawa atau Kejawen, sebuah konsep sinkretisme yang berkembang melalui interaksi antara ajaran Islam dan budaya lokal yang telah mengakar sejak lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi serta menganalisis bagaimana nilai-nilai Islam direpresentasikan dalam tradisi dan budaya Jawa di Kerato Ngayogyakarta, serta bagaimana akulturasi ini tetap lestari di tengah arus globalisasi dan modernisasi. Penelitian mengenai Keraton Ngayogyakarta sebagai representasi Islam-Jawa (Kejawen) menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Metode ini dipilih untuk memberikan gambaran yang mendalam dan komprehensif tentang nilainilai budaya, tradisi, dan praktik keagamaan yang ada di keraton. Berikut adalah langkah-langkah yang akan diambil dalam penelitian ini: Observasi Non-partisipan: Peneliti akan mengamati langsung berbagai aktivitas dan ritual yang berlangsung di Keraton Yogyakarta, seperti upacara Sekaten dan Garebeg, untuk memahami bagaimana nilai-nilai Islam dan tradisi Jawa saling berinteraksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Islam dalam keraton tercermin dalam berbagai aspek, seperti Pelestarian Sastra Islam (Serat) dan serta kesusastraan. Upacara adat seperti Sekaten dan Grebeg Mulud menjadi contoh nyata bagaimana Islam-Jawa dipraktikkan dan diwariskan secara turun-temurun. Secara langsung, hal tersebut menjadi salah satu benteng dari arus globalisasi dan modernisasi yang sudah banyak mengaburkan ciri khas dari Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Saifuddin Zuhri was a prominent Indonesian independence activist, Muslim intellectual, and Minister of Religious Affairs whose work significantly shaped discourses on nationalism and Islamic moderation in postcolonial Indonesia. This study reassesses his intellectual legacy by examining his writings, speeches, policies, and organizational activities to understand better his role in fostering the integration of national identity and moderate Islamic values. This research employs a qualitative-historical approach with discourse analysis. Primary sources include Zuhri's publications, speeches, Ministry of Religious Affairs archives, and organizational records from 1920 to 1986. Secondary sources consist of biographies, historical articles, and relevant academic studies. The data were thematically coded to trace narratives on nationalism, tolerance, religious education, and moderation policies. Triangulation of sources and chronological mapping were used to ensure the reliability and validity of interpretations. Findings indicate that Zuhri pursued a dual strategy: (1) reinforcing national identity through inclusive rhetoric positioning Islam as a constructive element of the nation; and (2) promoting moderation via religious education reform, inter-sectarian dialogue, and policies emphasizing social accommodation. The analysis reveals tensions between his reformist ideals and institutional political constraints, yet his influence is evident in Ministry policies and more tolerant community religious practices. This study confirms Zuhri's legacy as relevant to contemporary discourses on moderate Islam in Indonesia and offers a historical model for integrating religion and nationalism.

Abstract

The focus of this paper study is related to inheritance in Hamka's perspective. The topic of the author considers important because there are still lack of studies on the themes of gender equality based on the perspective of certain figures. So that the author's expectations with this paper can open up and add to the treasures related to gender equality, especially in terms of inheritance. The determination of this topic aims to respond to the present reality, where some people or groups that make the Quran verses relate to inheritance as a legitimacy of the division of inheritance that does not draw to women without seeing the side Historical verses are derived. Reviewing the historical socio-based method is used in this paper. The conclusion in this paper is that the opinion of Hamka regarding the inheritance of the quarter in line with the opinion of Muhammad Abduh and his disciple Rasheed Ridha that suggests that men get a lot more because of the burden of ownership of the property more Weight than women. But it can change, in line with the development of community context. Hamka's opinion defies strongly against the opinion of classical mufasirs that argue that women lack common sense, property extravagant property and other gender biased opinions that cause the division of its birthright to be denied.

Abstract

KH. Bisri Musthofa (1915-1977 CE) was a prolific Islamic scholar known for his writings and active involvement in various organizations. Many scholars have conducted research on his Tafsir Al-Ibr?z due to its uniqueness. In this study, KH. Bisri provides his subjective interpretation of verses related to death, using a symbolic model by likening objects in his surroundings. The focus of this research is to delve into the meanings of death in Tafsir Al-Ibr?z, along with the methods of interpretation and its philosophical significance, making it relevant to human life.The method employed in this research is the maudh?’i method, with Tafsir Al-Ibr?z as the primary data source, complemented by secondary data gathered from various books, journals, Quranic dictionaries, Arabic and Javanese dictionaries, and relevant scholarly research. Data analysis is conducted using a historical-critical-philosophical approach presented in a descriptive-analytical manner. The research findings include six meanings of death according to KH. Bisri Musthofa in Al-Ibriz: death as the end of worldly life, physical death, death of the heart, death as a blessing, death as punishment, and symbolic death. These meanings are explained through three methods: translation based on the Quranic text, symbolic interpretation or analogy using surrounding objects, and references to interpretations by previous scholars. The subjective interpretation of death by Kiai Bisri Musthofa is relevant to human life, as it imparts meaning to existence, urging individuals to make the most of their lives and adapt to the changing times, encompassing aspects of the individual, religion, and society.

Abstract

This paper reviews Neuwirth's thoughts regarding the originality of the Qur'anic text. According to Neuwirth, the texts of the Qur'an have been considered unoriginal because they have been influenced by Jewish and Christian traditions because the sources and methodologies used still have flaws. In reviewing Neuwirth's thoughts, this research focuses on the epistemology of Angelika Neuwirth's thoughts related to the originality of the Qur'anic text. Departing from the theory used, this paper discusses three questions. First, the sources used by Neuwirth, the methodology used, and how the validity of truth related to the originality of the Qur'anic text according to Neuwirth. This research uses a qualitative method by using library research data collection techniques. The data sources used are primary and secondary. Primary sources of the author get from Neuwirth's writings related to the Qur'an and secondary sources obtained from studies with the same object of study such as journals and books. The data that has been collected will be reduced as needed and analyzed using Emmanuel Kant's epistemology. As for the results of this study, first, Neuwirth uses text sources in the context of late antiquity. Second, Neuwirth uses an intertextuality-based pre-canonization method with a literary and historical approach. This research still has shortcomings, meaning that further research can be carried out related to the epistemology of Neuwirth's angelic thought such as the implications of Neuwirth's thinking for the study of the Qur'an in the West, especially in the scope of scholarship in Indonesia.
