Abstract

Everyone has their own standard of physical form. But in reality, not everyone has a physique that matches the standards he has made. This triggers many people who are less confident with their physical form. This condition makes researchers carry out research that intends to see the effect of body image on self-confidence. This research uses correlational quantitative research with student subjects. This research instrument uses a body image scale and a self-confidence scale. Validity testing uses expert tests and trials, while reliability uses Cronbach's Alpha. This research data analysis technique uses the Linear Regression formula. The results of the research show that there is an effect of body image on students' self-confidence. The magnitude of the influence of Body Image on self-confidence is 35.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the level of Student Self Concept that is completing the thesis; (2) the level of student self-efficacy that is completing the thesis; (3) to know the relation between academic self concept and selfefficacy in completing thesis. The approach used in this research is quantitative approach with correlational type. Technique of sampling with purposive sample technique. The sample in this study 50 percent of the population, as many as 46 students. Instrument of data collection in this research use self concept academic scale as much as 38 item and self efficacy scale 36 item. Researchers use questionnaires using the likers scale in the form of Check List (√). Level of validity (validity) on the scale of self concept of academic and self efficacy are all valid (valid). Level of reliability on the scale of self-concept of academic value obtained coefficient alpha (α) of 0.922 and on the scale of self efficacy obtained coefficient value alpha (α) of 0.921.Data obtained then analyzed by using correlation analysis. The results showed that students have self-concept of academic and self efficacy in completing thesis that is high is 95.5%. That is, the higher the academic self-concept owned by students will be higher also self efficacy in completing the thesis on the students. It is based on the result of calculation of correlation with obtained p (sig) = 0.77, price p shows value greater than 0.05. So the hypothesis stating that there is a positive and significant relationship between the concept of self-academic and self-efficacy in completing the thesis on students Bimbingan Konseling Ahmad Dahlan University of Yogyakarta, accepted.

Abstract

Career Planning for Students with Physical Disabilities is crucial to be prepared. A good career planning picture must contain four aspects of career planning which consist of seeking information, understanding, making decisions, and career achievement. The purpose of this study was to explore in-depth career planning in students of the Special School for Physical Disabilities (SLB) 1 Yogyakarta. This study used a qualitative approach, with the type of case study research, the subjects in this study were two students with physical disabilities, the first subject had moderate cerebral palsy and the second subject experienced abnormalities in the muscle system and skin groups. (musculus skeletal system) spina bifida. Then the secondary sources are teachers and parents. The data collection technique used triangulation in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the career planning of the two early TA and DI students had differences. TA has not been able to do career planning. Because in the search for information, understanding, decision making, and career skills, TA cannot do it. Meanwhile, DI is capable of career planning because DI can find career information, even though DI is still a little doubtful due to lack of confidence, DI career decision making can be even though it is still not effective in managing free time. DI career skills are said to be capable, even though DI does not attend any additional education (courses).
