Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi dengan menggunakan metode Peer Lessons dilengkapi media Power Point di kelas X Akuntansi B SMK Wikarya Karanganyar.Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan secara kolaborasi antara peneliti dan guru pengampu akuntansi dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan interpretasi, serta analisis dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi B SMK Wikarya Karanganyar yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi (metode dan sumber). Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif dan analisis data kualitatif.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Peer Lessons dilengkapi media Power Point mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi dari pra siklus ke siklus I dan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Proses pembelajaran pada saat pra siklus masih berupa ceramah satu arah dan media papan tulis sehingga persentase motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran hanya sebesar 53,57%. Pada siklus I sudah digunakan metode Peer Lessons dilengkapi media Power Point walapun masih ada beberapa kekurangan, hasil persentase motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran meningkat sebesar 7,14% dari 53,57% menjadi 60,71%. Peningkatan secara signifikan terlihat pada siklus II yang telah menggunakan metode Peer Lessons dilengkapi media Power Point  secara optimal sehingga diperoleh hasil persentase motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran sebesar 78,57%.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode Peer Lessons dilengkapi media Power Point mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi di kelas X Akuntansi B SMK Wikarya Karanganyar.Kata kunci: Peer Lessons, Power Point, motivasi belajar akuntansi ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to improve the Accounting learning motivation of the students through the use of Peer Lessons method equipped with power point media in Grade X Accounting B of Wikarya Vocational High School of Karanganyar.This research used the classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases i.e. planning, implementation, observation and interpretation, and reflection. The research was collaboratively done by the researcher the Accounting teacher of the school. The subjects of research were the students as many as 28 in Grade X Accounting B of Wikarya Vocational High School of Karanganyar. The data of research were collected through questionnaire, observation, and documentation. They were validated by using the method and source triangulations and analyzed by using the descriptive comparative analysis and the qualitative data analysis.The result of research shows that the use of the Peer Lessons equipped with the Power Point media can improve the students’ Accounting learning motivation from the pre-treatment through Cycle II. The learning process during the pre-treatment used the one-direction lecture method and blackboard, and the students’ Accounting learning motivation was 53.57%. Then, in Cycles I, the learning process used the Peer Lessons equipped with Power Point media. Although there were some weaknesses, the students’ Accounting learning motivation increased as much as 7.14% from 53.57% to 60.71%. The significant increase was seen in Cycle II, in which the learning process used the Peer Lessons equipped with Power Point media optimally so that the students’ learning motivation percentage became 87.57% in Cycle II.Thus, the use of the Peer Lessons method equipped with the Power Point media can improve the Accounting learning motivation of the students in Grade X Accounting B of Wikarya Vocational High School of Karanganyar.Keywords: Peer Lessons, Power Point, students’ Accounting learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the appropriateness of ARCS-based economic e-books on international trade material in the class XI IPS of Senior High School in terms of experts' assessments and students' responses to e-book products developed. This study used the Borg & Gall development model which was modified into 10 stages, namely: 1) research and information gathering; 2) planning; 3) early e-book product development; 4) initial trials; 5) revision I; 6) main trials; 7) revision II; 8) operational trials; 9) revision III; 10) dissemination. The research was conducted in class XI of Senior High School in Surakarta. Data collection methods in this study used validation sheets and questionnaire sheets which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed the feasibility of an economic e-book based on ARCS qualified "very feasible" for the media aspect with a percentage of 93,75% and the material aspect with a percentage of 88,09% according to experts, and linguist with a percentage of 100% and received a positive response from students with a percentage of 76,11%.
