Abstract

This community service activity aims (1) to determine the form of community participation; and (2) measuring the level of community participation in activities of the COVID-19 pandemic resilient village as an effort to increase food security in utilizing the home yard. The implementation of this service was carried out in Sindanggalih Village RW 03 Gununggede Village, Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City. The form of this service is counseling, training, interviews and evaluations conducted to members of the Sinar Berseka Waste Bank. The results of the activity show that community participation in the form of direct participation in the form of community participation in cultivating food crops in the form of vegetables (kale, mustard greens, spinach, eggplant and chilies) and empon-empon (turmeric, ginger and galangal) and indirect participation in conducting discussions while providing support between residents. Meanwhile, the level of community participation is classified as high, this is due to the desire of residents to be able to take advantage of the house yard and increase the family economy. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui bentuk peran serta masyarakat; dan (2) mengukur tingkat partisipasi masyarakat pada kegiatan kampung tangguh pandemi COVID-19 sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dalam memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Kampung Sindanggalih RW 03 Kelurahan Gununggede Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan, wawancara dan evaluasi yang dilakukan kepada anggota Bank Sampah Sinar Berseka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peran serta masyarakat dalam bentuk langsung berupa keikutsertaan warga untuk membudidayakan tanaman pangan berupa sayuran (kangkung, sawi, bayam, terong dan cabai) serta empon-empon (kunyit, jahe dan lengkuas) dan partisipasi tidak langsung melakukan diskusi sambil memberi dukungan antar warga. Sedangkan dari tingkat peran serta masyarakat tergolong tinggi hal ini dikarenakan keinginan warga untuk dapat memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah dan menambah ekonomi keluarga.

Abstract

Abstract The development of tourism can be observed through the number of tourists visiting a particular tourist destination. In recent times, tourism has become a focal point due to its potential to generate additional foreign exchange for the country. This study aims to examine public perception and the tourism appeal in relation to the low number of tourist visits to Dwarawati Temple, located in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java.The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique employed in this study is triangulation, specifically source triangulation. The data collected is further strengthened with other supporting sources to enhance the validity of the findings.Based on the results of the study regarding the community's contribution to increasing tourist visits at the Dwarawati Temple tourist site, it can be concluded that active community participation has a significant impact on the development of the tourism sector. However, this contribution has not yet reached its optimal potential due to several major constraints. One of the most significant obstacles is the inadequate accessibility to the location of Dwarawati Temple, which makes it difficult for tourists to visit and directly affects the low number of visits.
