Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra PKM adalah minimnya sumber daya manusia yang ahli dalam mengolah eceng gondok  untuk membuat kerajinan tangan yang berbahan eceng gondok. dan pemasaran produk kerajinan tangan eceng gondok masih bersifat lokal (Kota Makassar). Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatan taraf ekonomi atau kesejahteraan ibu-ibu PKK dan masyarakat di Kelurahan Sambung Jawa Kecamatan Mamajang Kota Makassar melalui pendekatan ilmu pengetahuan yang sesuai dengan amanat Tri darma perguruan tinggi. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut ditempuh melalui metode pembelajaran andragogik yang lebih menekankan pada pelatihan teknis (praktek), mulai dari keterampilan desain produk, teknis produksi sampai pada sistem manajemen pemasaran produk. PKM tersebut adalah membantu para ibu-ibu PKK dan masyarakat baik dalam penyediaan enceng gondok sebagai bahan anyaman beserta aksesorisnya maupun sejumlah peralatannya untuk penunjang pembuatan produk, sehingga desain produk yang ditawarkan bisa terlaksana sesuai dengan harapan, berkualitas serta berciri khas sehingga bisa bersaing dipasaran.Kata kunci: Kata Kunci: Eceng Gondok, Ibu-ibu PKK, KesejahteraanABSTRACTThe problem experienced by PKM partners is the lack of skilled human resources in processing water hyacinth to make handicrafts made from water hyacinth. and marketing of water hyacinth handicraft products is still local (Makassar City). The purpose of the activity is to improve the economic level or welfare of PKK mothers and the community in the Java Connect Village, Mamajang District, Makassar City through a scientific approach that is in accordance with the mandate of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. To achieve this goal, it is pursued through the andragogic learning method which emphasizes technical training (practice), starting from product design skills, production techniques to product marketing management systems. The PKM is to help PKK mothers and the community both in providing water hyacinth as a woven material and its accessories as well as a number of equipment to support product manufacture, so that the product design offered can be carried out according to expectations, with quality and distinctive so that it can compete in the market. Keywords: Water Hyacinth, PKK mothers, welfare

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi promosi dan branding berbasis kebutuhan konsumen pada UMKM Biru Print yang bergerak di bidang jasa fotokopi dan percetakan digital di Kota Makassar. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada masih terbatasnya penerapan strategi promosi dan branding yang terstruktur pada UMKM, sehingga potensi usaha belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan pendampingan langsung kepada pemilik usaha. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan dan observasi, pengumpulan data dan analisis, serta penyusunan rekomendasi dan pelaporan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman pemilik usaha terhadap pentingnya promosi dan branding yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan konsumen. Selain itu, pemilik usaha mulai menyadari peran identitas usaha dan strategi komunikasi pemasaran dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha. Kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pendampingan bagi UMKM sektor jasa dalam mengembangkan strategi promosi dan branding secara lebih profesional dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The revitalization program of Senior High Schools (SMA) is a government initiative aimed at improving the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure to support a safe, comfortable, and sustainable learning environment. In its implementation, schools are not only beneficiaries but are also assigned responsibility by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education as the main executors of the revitalization activities, including workforce provision, supervision, and technical planning. This condition requires adequate technical capacity at the school level, while limited understanding of technical guidelines (juknis) may lead to inconsistencies in planning and construction implementation. This community service program aims to provide technical facilitation to one of the high schools implementing the revitalization program, namely SMAN 10 Gowa, in order to improve compliance with the applicable technical guidelines. The facilitation was carried out through a technical assistance approach without taking over the school’s role as the project implementer. The methods included reviewing technical guidelines and planning documents, conducting field inspections of construction works and facility completeness, and formulating as well as delivering technical recommendations discussed with the school implementation team. The evaluation was also carried out quantitatively by measuring the level of technical understanding before and after the assistance. The results indicate a significant improvement in the school’s technical understanding, as reflected by an increase from 50% in the pre-test to 90% in the post-test. In addition, the technical facilitation contributed to enhancing the school's understanding of revitalization technical requirements and encouraged adjustments in planning and construction practices to comply with the technical guidelines. This activity underscores the strategic role of universities in strengthening the technical capacity of schools as implementers of the revitalization program, as well as in supporting the improvement of quality and accountability in educational infrastructure development.
