Abstract

The problem of the low interest in being a teacher for students participating in the Economics Learning Strategy Study Program of Economics Education Study Program at the University of Economics Education became the motivation for this research to be carried out. This study aims to determine whether the use of teaching simulation methods and teaching video media for teachers can increase students' interest in being a teacher. The research method is descriptive qualitative with an open questionnaire data collection tool through the Integrated Online Learning System (SPOT) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The research subjects were 88 students participating in the Economics Learning Strategy course. The results showed that the student's interest in becoming a teacher after lectures using teaching simulation methods and teaching video media was on average in the high classification, and a change in interest in becoming a teacher was 80.62%. It can be concluded that the use of teaching simulation methods and teaching video media in the Economics Learning Strategy course increases students' interest in becoming teachers.

Abstract

The irregular and downward trends in student learning results serve as the driving force for this study. The objective of this study is to determine how school climate impacts student learning results. A questionnaire is used in the data gathering process, which is a survey method. To test the hypothesis, determine the R2 coefficient of determination and do a partial test (t test). The findings indicated that student learning outcomes were positively impacted by school atmosphere. According to study findings, it is essential to maximize the responsibilities played by students, teachers, schools, and the government in order to foster a positive school climate that influences learning outcomes.

Abstract

Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi merupakan salah satu Prodi tertua di UPI yang secara filosofis UPI sebagai lembaga pendidikan guru memiliki misi  utama yaitu mendidik calon calon guru dan tenaga kependidikan yang diperlukan dalam membangun pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Permasalahan mendasar yang dihadapi Prodi Pendidikan UPI tentu seiring dangan permasalahan di tinngkat universitas memerlukan kajian. Sejalan dengan perkembangan statuta UPI, Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi perlu bebenah diri dalam melahirkan lulusan-lulusan yang siap pakai dan dapat terserap di dunia kerja, yaitu dengan siap menyenggarakan layanan pendidikan bagi mahasiswa secara profesional. Dengan profil lulusan utamanya guru ekonomi di sekolah menengah, dan profil tambahan sebagai asisten peneliti dan wirausahawan di bidang pendidikan ekonomi, Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi perlu melakukan tracer study sehingga memiliki gambaran bagaimana respon dunia kerja terhadap para lulusan prodi. Sebagai salah satu program studi yang telah mapan yang terakdreditasi BAN PT dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (A), sangat wajar jika lulusan Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi memiliki daya saing unggul di dunia kerja. Hal ini tampak dari hasil observasi kinerja lulusan yang mengajar di sekolah baik di SMP, SMA maupun SMK, rata-rata memiliki nilai kinerja yang sangat baik. Keberhasilan lulusan didunia kerja juga terlihat dari hasil tracer study terhadap kepuasan pengguna lulusan, yang menilai baik terhadap kinerja lulusan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by student learning outcomes that have not been optimal, as indicated by the average GPA of FPEB UPI students has not reached the target stated in the 2016-2020 UPI Strategic Plan. This study aims to see the effect of metacognitive awareness on learning outcomes. In addition, this study also examines the direct influence of the two domains contained in metacognitive awareness, namely metacognitive knowledge (knowledge of cognition) and metacognitive control (regulation of cognition) on learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of FPEB UPI class 2017, 2018, and 2019 with a sample of 329 students. The method used in this study is an explanatory survey with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that metacognitive awareness had a positive effect on learning outcomes. In addition, it was also found that two domains in metacognitive awareness, namely metacognitive knowledge (knowledge of cognition) and metacognitive control (regulation of cognition) had a positive effect on improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by Indonesia's low Global Entrepreneurship Index, which ranked 90th out of 137 countries worldwide in 2018. The study aims to investigate the influence of Attitude Towards Entrepreneurship, Subjective Norms, and Perceived Behavioral Control on entrepreneurial intention. The research employs a survey research method, with the population and sample being students of the Economics Education program at the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesia University of Education. The data analysis technique utilized is multiple linear regression. The findings of this research indicate that: (1) Attitude Toward Entrepreneurship and Subjective Norms positively influence Entrepreneurial Intention; (2) Perceived Behavioral Control does not affect Entrepreneurial Intention; (3) Attitude Towards Entrepreneurship, Subjective Norms, and Perceived Behavioral Control collectively have a positive impact on Entrepreneurial Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceived desirability and perceived feasibility on entrepreneurial intentions. The approach in the research used is a quantitative approach with the survey method. Data collection techniques used are through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The population in this study were all students of the Economic Education Study Program at the University of Education Indonesia. The data analysis techniques used include classical assumption tests, descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression tests and hypothesis testing. The results showed that: (i) perceived desirability, perceived feasibility and entrepreneurial intentions in Economic Education students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia are in the high category. (ii) perceived desirability has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention (iii) perceived feasibility has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention (iv) perceived desirability and perceived feasibility simultaneously have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

Rendahnya nilai rata-rata PAS mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X SMA Negeri di kota bandung menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik terhadap hasil belajar, mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi kepribadian terhadap hasil belajar, mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi sosial terhadap hasil belajar, dan mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi profesional terhadap hasil belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei eksplanatori. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kompetensi guru secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Secara parsial kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi professional tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dengan mengidentifikasi kompetensi guru yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, yaitu kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian. Sehingga dapan menjadi acuan bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam merancang program pengembangan profesional guru yang lebih efektif dan berbasis pada kebutuhan nyata di lapangan. Disarankan agar pelatihan guru lebih difokuskan pada pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian, karena kedua aspek tersebut terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor lain yang mungkin memediasi hubungan antara kompetensi sosial dan profesional guru dengan hasil belajar.
