Abstract

This research focuses on the increasingly sophisticated technology from time to time, so that the business environment is also increasingly competitive. At this time technology is needed in every activity of the organization. E-business itself means the use of technology and also information systems that manage business from manual to automatic in order to accelerate the availability of information needed to reach decisions. By using E-business can make the process faster. Even today, it is not only marketing products that use technology, every transaction uses technology. Or even in selling their products using Electronic such as E-commerce, and even in terms of payment also using technology such as E-money. But the implementation of E-business itself has advantages and disadvantages. The drawback is that the network can be lost, there can also be technical errors, can't see the goods directly, can only see the goods through photos and customer reviews. Meanwhile, the advantages of E-business are that there is no need to rent a physical store, product marketing is also easier, increasing sales and can also save time. However, with E-business we can see great opportunities especially in our current new normal era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep dasar sistem informasi, sistem informasi dalam suatu organisasi sebagai suatu sistem yang bila diperlukan menyediakan informasi ke seluruh tingkat organisasi. Sistem ini mengkomunikasikan, menyimpan, mengambil, memodifikasi, dan memproses data yang diperoleh oleh perangkat keras sistem lain atau suatu sistem informasi. Informasi sangat penting bagi suatu organisasi karena tanpanya, informasi akan menjadi lumpuh dan tidak dapat berfungsi sebagai suatu unit. Jika informasi tidak diterima oleh subsistem, aktivitas akan terhenti. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif digunakan sebagai metodologi penelitian dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian deskriptif kualitatif adalah untuk menggambarkan dan memperjelas fenomena yang ada, termasuk individu yang terjadi secara alami dan sengaja diciptakan, dengan penekanan lebih besar pada sifat, sifat, dan hubungan antara aktivitas yang berbeda.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of social support, self-efficacy, and work readiness on career anxiety among final-year students. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of 120 final-year students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, State Islamic University of North Sumatra. A sample of 92 respondents was selected using a non-probability sampling technique based on the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error. Data were collected through questionnaires that met validity and reliability requirements and were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that social support had a negative and significant effect on career anxiety (Sig. = 0.027 < 0.05), and self-efficacy also had a negative and significant effect (Sig. < 0.001 < 0.05). In contrast, work readiness had no significant effect on career anxiety (Sig. = 0.554 > 0.05). Simultaneously, social support, self-efficacy, and work readiness significantly influenced career anxiety (Sig. < 0.001), with an R² value of 0.896. These findings indicate that social support and self-efficacy play important roles in reducing career anxiety among final-year students.

Abstract

One of the main factors contributing to this change is the advancement of information technology (IT). In the business context, IT not only serves as a tool to improve operational efficiency, but also as an enabler for innovation and the development of more effective marketing strategies. The purpose of this study is to how the use of information technology has a positive impact on business in the era of globalization. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, which focuses on collecting and analyzing data from written sources, such as books, journal articles, research reports, and other relevant documents. By utilizing e-commerce platforms and digital marketing, UMKM can reach customers globally and increase their brand visibility and efficient logistics support is essential for e-commerce success. Further literature review is needed to find out what are the uses of information technology that can be used in business development in the era of globalization

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of database optimization in improving system performance on the Shopee e-commerce platform, as well as its impact on user experience. Effective database management, including the use of indexes and caching techniques, is believed to speed up product searches, increase transaction speed, and support the system in handling spikes in user traffic. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study of active Shopee users. Data collection techniques were conducted through participatory observation and content analysis, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that database optimization plays an important role in improving Shopee's operational efficiency, such as speeding up the search and transaction processes, which contributes to increased user satisfaction. Nonetheless, some areas such as the speed of transactions using bank transfers and the relevance of product search results still require improvement. This research contributes both practically and theoretically in the development of technical strategies to improve user experience on e-commerce platforms.
