Abstract

Stand-up comedy is one of the arts that are in great demand by various circles because of its entertaining nature. However, the delivery of stand-up comedy material and improper wording sometimes trigger audience confusion. This makes comic or stand-up comedy actors many who reap protests. Thus the ethics of Islamic communication are indispensable in stand-up comedy. Starting from the search for materials and writing materials, then adjusted to existing places and norms, to the delivery of materials on stage. To find out this, researchers conducted field research aimed at knowing the application of Islamic communication ethics in Samarinda stand-up comedy. Research is carried out using qualitative methods. Selection of informants as data sources based on purposive sampling by predetermined criteria. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out in conjunction with the data collection process using data analysis techniques that include data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain research results. The results of this study found that there is an application of Islamic communication ethics in Samarinda stand-up comedy. This can be seen from the search for writing material, the adjustment of the material to the stage they polled before performing, to the delivery of the material on the stage. The ethics of Islamic communication in stand-up comedy are: qaulan sadidan, qaulan layyina, qaulan ma'rufa, qaulan maysura, qaulan karima and qaulan baligha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of Islamic communication patterns in parenting by women activists, in this case is the Muslimah Brotherhood Organization (Salimah) Samarinda City. This research is a qualitative descriptive study and the method is field research. Data collection tehniques use observation, interview and documentation. The results of this research are application of Islamic communication patterns namely: (1) The communication pattern in the form of question is always used in daily life, to ask about the children’s condition, opinion or remind them about something. (2) The pattern of communication in the form of dialogue (question and answer) is often used to explore deeper desire, opinion or children’s condition. (3) The pattern of communication in the form of an oath, according to research conducted by researchers, is rarely even almost never carried out by parents to children, considering that oaths are sacred things in the custom of Indonesian. (4) The communication pattern in the form of promise and threat are considered quite effective in caring for children, therefore children are motivated to apply kindness and stay away from prohibition. (5) Communication patterns in the form of proverbs or parables are often used to convey something that is difficult to explain. (6) The communication pattern in the form of a story is very effective in impressing the children’s soul. (7) The communication pattern in the form of repetition (tikrar) to convey important thing must always be repeated to remind the children. (8) The communication pattern in the form of gradual is considered very necessary and effective in caring for children because each child has different age and acceptance.

Abstract

Many cases of drug abuse in Indonesia, so it requires medical and social rehabilitation services in their recovery efforts. Among the services performed are addiction counseling and religious mental coaching applied in Bareta. The purpose of this study is to analyze the client's communication behavior, the role of counseling communication and Islamic communication in the client's recovery efforts, obstacles as well as solutions in carrying out those roles. This type of research is qualitative with a narrative approach. Primary data sources are addiction counselors/assistant counselors, mental builders, and clients. While the secondary data sources are various documents belonging to Bareta. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study are that there are many unusual communication behavior factors from clients such as addictive substance factors, individual innate factors, and client confidence. The role of Islamic counseling and communication in client recovery efforts in Bareta is very large because the main weapon for conducting counseling and religious mental coaching is the ability to build professional communication that is therapeutic to the client.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap perwujudan keluarga sakinah. Penelitian di lakukan di Kelurahan Loa Bakung, Kota Samarinda Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini bersifat eksplanasi kuantitatif, yaitu dengan statistik inferensial melakukan pengujian  hipotesis di lapangan untuk mencari hubungan (korelasi). Dari jumlah populasi 3.830 kepala keluarga diambil sampel 98 responden (terdiri dari 49 laki-laki dan 49 perempuan), dengan teknik penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner (angket) dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data digunakan rumus korelasi Pearson product Moment.Setelah dilakukan penelitian, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap perwujudan keluarga sakinah adalah sedang, yaitu dengan nilai r = 0,521. Angka korelasi antara komunikasi interpersonal (X) dan keluarga sakinah (Y) tidak bernilai negatif, berarti di antara kedua variabel tersebut terdapat korelasi positif.Selanjutnya dilakukan uji t dan mendapatkan hasil bahwa thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel signifikansi 5 %, yaitu 11,35 1,980. Maka hipotesis alternatif diterima dan hipotesis nol ditolak. Dan ini berarti memang ada pengaruh (korelasi  yang signifikan) antara komunikasi interpersonal (X) dan keluarga sakinah (Y).Sedangkan sumbangsi komunikasi interpersonal terhadap perwujudan keluarga sakinah adalah . Artinya perwujudan keluarga sakinah mendapat sumbangan dari komunikasi interpersonal sebesar 27,14 %, dan 72,86 % disumbangkan oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU) employs various strategies to preserve angklung art and attract domestic tourists. This research explores SAU's methods, including adapting to consumer behavior, developing new business models, promoting via social media, collaborating with diverse parties, and providing scholarships. SAU innovates with educational programs and music therapy, enhancing engagement through digital promotions and expanding cultural reach through partnerships. Dynamic performance adaptations and involving children are key in attracting audiences and ensuring cultural preservation. Consequently, SAU successfully preserves angklung art while introducing cultural values to the younger generation and broader community through sustainable business strategies.

Abstract

Technological developments in the 4.0 era need to be faced with an awareness of the importance of communication and digital literacy. The urgency is so that people can use digital media in a healthy, wise, intelligent, careful, precise, and law-abiding manner to avoid hoaxes. The use of media as a communication tool and the principle of communication itself needs attention and in-depth study, including in the study of Islamic communication. The meaning of Islamic communication is the delivery of Islamic messages using the communication principles in Islam. Islamic teachings, in this case, have explicitly provided guidelines, namely by prioritizing the concept of Islamic communication principles in daily life interactions, including communicating digitally in the 4.0 era. This article describes the urgency of Islamic communication principles in overcoming Hoaxes in Era 4.0. This study uses a design in the form of a literature study. This study is a qualitative study using document analysis methods. The results of the study state that several kinds of literature on the study of Islamic communication principles have been researched, starting from 2010-2020. That the study of Islamic communication principles in the 4.0 era must not only be understood by the public but also as a foundation in social media as well as fend off all things related to hoaxes.

Abstract

Advances in technology can not only provide good benefits but can also have a negative impact, among is the hoax news. The government has been working to overcome this, including socializing digital literacy to the public. This is also in line with Islamic religious teachings that put forward the concept of Islamic communication principles in the interaction of daily life including in communicating digitally so that the motto of Islam that is rahmatan lil' alamin can be achieved. From the concept, researchers are interested in knowing how to implement Islamic communication principles in the digital era. This research is field research with qualitative descriptive approach methods. The object of the research is students who have earned the teaching of Islamic Communication courses. The result of this study is that informants have tried to apply the principles of Islamic Communication, but it has not been able to be applied optimally, due to various obstacles both from internal and external self-informants. Therefore, in addition to knowledge in the form of Islamic communication concepts taught, there also needs to be habituation in the form of in-depth, serious, and continuous training. So that the principles of Islamic Communication are embedded and become self-character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap keputusan karir. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut. Subjek yang peneliti gunakan adalah alumni Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda; untuk mendapatkan responden peneliti menggunakan teknik snowball sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 59 orang yang bersedia berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Peneliti menggunakan skala efikasi diri dan keputusan karir sebagai instrumen utama penelitian. Analisis data yang peneliti gunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana menggunakan program SPSS V24. Dari hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana diperoleh koefisien signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05) dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa efikasi diri memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan karir alumni Perguruan Tinggi di Samarinda. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tingginya tingkat efikasi diri yang dimiliki alumni dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengambil keputusan karir. Kemampuan keputusan karir merupakan kemampuan dasar dalam merancang karir yang dapat memudahkan alumni dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are traditional educational institutions with the oldest Islamic characteristics in the archipelago. Its presence is expected to be able to improve and improve Islamic traditions. Pondok Tahfidz Ilyasiyah As'adiyah, Santan Tengah Village has the potential to become a superior Islamic tahfidz boarding school. To improve the achievements of students to a higher level such as MTQ at the district/city, provincial, and even national levels, even harder efforts are needed from the administrators and coaches to organize more systematic and well-programmed tahfidz education and teaching through a curriculum that is in accordance with the conditions of the students.ABSTRAKPondok pesantren adalah lembaga Pendidikan tradisional dengan ciri khas Islam tertua di Nusantara. Kehadirannya diharapkan mampu memperbaiki dan meningkatkan tradisi keislaman. Pondok Tahfidz Ilyasiyah As’adiyah Desa Santan Tengah memiliki potensi untuk menjadi pondok pesantren tahfidz unggulan. Untuk meningkatkan prestasi para santri ke level yang lebih tinggi lagi seperti MTQ tingkat kabupaten/kota, provinsi, bahkan nasional maka diperlukan upaya yang lebih keras lagi dari para pengurus dan pembina untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pengajaran tahfidz yang lebih sistematis dan terprogram dengan baik melalui kurikulum yang sesuai dengan kondisi para santri.

Abstract

This study explores the role of media in promoting tourism, particularly in Pampang Village, a rural area in East Kalimantan known for its rich Dayak culture. The village is a prominent cultural tourism destination, where media, especially social media, plays a vital role in attracting tourists by highlighting its cultural and natural beauty. A qualitative descriptive method was employed to understand how media influences tourists' interests. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with tourists, direct observation of media content used for promotion, and content analysis of various media platforms. The Diffusion of Innovation theory served as the theoretical framework to analyze the spread of information about Pampang Village through social media. The study found that social media significantly enhances the visibility and appeal of Pampang Village by showcasing its unique cultural heritage. Tourists are attracted to the village through engaging content, including photos, videos, and stories that emphasize the Dayak community's traditions. Social media also facilitates direct communication between potential tourists and the village, fostering a stronger connection and personalized experience. However, challenges such as content sustainability and competition with other tourist destinations were identified. Media, particularly digital platforms, plays a crucial role in promoting Pampang Village as a cultural tourism destination. It helps build a positive image, facilitates interaction between tourists and the village, and increases tourist engagement. The findings suggest that with effective use of media, Pampang Village can enhance its tourism appeal and contribute to the local economy.
