Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of transcendental communication in improving the morality of students at State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) in Indonesia. Transcendental communication, through prayer, dhikr, and reading the Quran, is an important element in the formation of student character, especially in their relationship with Allah, themselves, others, and the environment. This study is motivated by the importance of character education in Islam that needs to be applied consistently in the PTKIN environment. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which involves in-depth interviews with PTKIN students. Additional data were obtained through documentation and observation of religious activities on campus. The results of the study indicate that transcendental communication significantly improves students' morality , especially in terms of discipline, patience, empathy, and awareness of responsibility towards the environment. The recommendation from this study is for PTKIN to strengthen religious programs based on worship and create a campus environment that supports the consistency of student worship. The results of this study provide a real contribution by offering an empirical basis for PTKIN to integrate transcendental communication into the curriculum and religious programs in order to form the character of students with noble morals, thus supporting the creation of an academic environment that is oriented towards spiritual and moral values.

Abstract

Stand-up comedy is one of the arts that are in great demand by various circles because of its entertaining nature. However, the delivery of stand-up comedy material and improper wording sometimes trigger audience confusion. This makes comic or stand-up comedy actors many who reap protests. Thus the ethics of Islamic communication are indispensable in stand-up comedy. Starting from the search for materials and writing materials, then adjusted to existing places and norms, to the delivery of materials on stage. To find out this, researchers conducted field research aimed at knowing the application of Islamic communication ethics in Samarinda stand-up comedy. Research is carried out using qualitative methods. Selection of informants as data sources based on purposive sampling by predetermined criteria. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out in conjunction with the data collection process using data analysis techniques that include data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain research results. The results of this study found that there is an application of Islamic communication ethics in Samarinda stand-up comedy. This can be seen from the search for writing material, the adjustment of the material to the stage they polled before performing, to the delivery of the material on the stage. The ethics of Islamic communication in stand-up comedy are: qaulan sadidan, qaulan layyina, qaulan ma'rufa, qaulan maysura, qaulan karima and qaulan baligha.

Abstract

This research examines the principles of Islamic communication and information in digital platforms in the case of online buying and selling on Tokopedia. The urgency of this research is rooted in the importance of adaptation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) actors to digital changes, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. This research uses a qualitative method involving active users of Tokopedia e-commerce from various regions in Indonesia. The results show that principles such as honesty, accuracy of information, free responsibility, fairness, and constructive criticism are implemented in buying and selling transactions on Tokopedia, although there are still challenges in their consistency.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara pluralisme yang memiliki berbagai macam suku, etnis, adat, budaya dan agama. Keanekaragaman tersebut bukan hanya kekayaan bangsa, tapi juga merupakan identitas kultural Bangsa Indonesia. Salah satu keanekaragaman adalah rumah adat Lamin Tolan yang dimiliki Suku Dayak Benuaq yang berada di Kampung Lambing, Kecamatan Muara Lawa, Kabupaten Kutai Barat, Kalimantan Timur. Hingga saat ini Lamin Tolan masih digunakan Suku Dayak Benuaq untuk tempat tinggal dan kegiatan-kegiatan ritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Lamin Tolan sebagai identitas kultural masyarakat Suku Dayak Benuaq. Peneliti menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah selain digunakan sebagai tempat tinggal dan kegiatan-kegiatan ritual, Lamin Tolan dari segi material menggunakan bahan-bahan alam dengan sedemikian rupa, sehingga memunculkan kesan unik, sederhana, dan dekat dengan alam. Inilah yang menjadi identitas kultural bagi Suku Dayak Benuaq.
