Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder dari ekstrak metanol batang brotowali. Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut metanol, ekstraksi, fraksinasi, pemurnian, dan identifikasi. Identifikasi dilakukan meliputi uji golongan dan uji spektroskopi IR. Hasil penelitian diperoleh isolat murni berbentuk kristal berwarna putih dan memberikan hasil positif melalui uji pereaksi Wagner dan Meyer. Spektroskopi IR menunjukkan adanya beberapa gugus fungsi isolat yaitu: N–H ulur, C–N, C–H (–CH3 dan –CH2) alifatik, C=C ulur dan C–H aromatik. Hasil identifikasi spektrum IR menunjukkan bahwa isolat yang diperoleh merupakan golongan senyawa alkaloid.Kata kunci : Isolasi, Tinospora crispa Linn, AlkaloidABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to isolate and identify the secondary metabolites compound from methanol extract of bark brotowali. The isolation of secondary metabolite compound include: maseration using methanol, extraction, fractionation, purification, and identification. Identification test is conducted by reagent test and IR spectroscopy. The isolated obtained in white crystal and positive to Wagner and Meyer reagent test. IR spectroscopy showed the presence of some functional groups of isoted that: N–H stretch, C–N, C–H (–CH3 and –CH2) aliphatic, C=C stretch and C–H aromatic. Base on those data, it is concluded that the isolate is alkaloid compounds.Keywords: Isolation, Tinospora crispa Linn, Alkaloid

Abstract

This research aims: 1) To analyze the increase in learning outcomes of students who are taught using visual Flash Card media. 2) To analyze the increase in learning outcomes of students who are taught without using conventional media. 3) To test the learning outcomes of students who are taught to use higher Visual Flash Card Media than those taught without using Visual Flash Card Media. This research was a quasi-experimental research with a population of all grade VII students of SMPN 6 Dua Pitue consisting of 2 classes. The results showed that 1) Increased learning outcomes by using Visual Flash Card media for class VII students of SMPN 6 Dua Pitue belong to the high category with N-gain values of 0,59. 2) Increasing learning outcomes without using Visual Flash Card media for class VII students of SMPN 6 Dua Pitue in the medium category with N-gain values of 0,44. 3) Learning outcomes of students in class VII SMPN 6 Dua Pitue taught using Visual Flash Card media higher than students' learning outcomes taught without using Visual Flash Card media by thitung = 30,39 ttabel = 2,00247 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that Visual Flash Card media can use to improve students learning outcomes in abstract material such as the classification of living things.

Abstract

This research imed to: (1) To find out how high the level of understanding of the concept of learners after being taught through problem based learning, (2) To find out how high the level of understanding of the concept of learners after being taught through direct learning, (3) To find out whether there is influence of Problem based learning to understanding the concept of students of class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pallangga Kab.Gowa (Study on the subject matter of temperature and heat materials) academic year 2017/2018. The research method used is Quasi-experiment method using Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study is the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pallangga Kab.Gowa in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018 consisting of ten classes with 120 students. The sample of this research as much as two classes of class VII.1 as experimental class and class VII.2 as a control class selected at random with the assumption that the whole class is homogeneous. Data collection techniques conducted in this study by using research instrument that is concept comprehension test and observation sheet model implementation. The tests used are pretest and posttest in the form of objective tests. The data obtained were processed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics for both classes. Based on the result of data analysis for experiment class get the average value equal to 34.43 in very high category and control class get average value equal to 32.23 in high. Based on the results of the research, it is found that (1) the level of understanding of the concepts of learners who are taught using problem based learning is very high, (2) the level of understanding of the concepts of learners who are taught using direct learning is high, (3) There is influence problem based learning to the understanding of the concept of students of class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pallangga Kab.Gowa (Study on the subject matter of temperature and heat materials ) of academic year 2017/2018.
