Abstract

The Integrated Service Post, known as Posyandu, is the front line in health services and other multifunctional services. However, at this time its existence has not been seen optimally, this is due to the lack of Posyandu implementers and managers in understanding the existence of Posyandu, so that reports on Posyandu activities that should be carried out in stages have not been carried out optimally, besides that there is still an assumption that Posyandu belongs to Health people. The objectives of the service activities are: Understanding Geber Madu Ayu, Joint Movement for Advancing Posyandu in Indramayu Regency. Methods: lectures, discussions and simulations. The results of the activity: All management of the Posyandu, Village Working Group, District Pokjanal and District Posyandu Pokjanal understand the importance of the Joint Movement to Promote Integrated Service Posts (Posyandu) in Indramayu Regency. Conclusion: The Joint Movement to establish a posyandu in Indramayu has been received and received a good response from stakeholders. Suggestion: Posyandu administrators at every level should increase their commitment to advancing posyandu by involving related elements, ranging from academics, business people, communities and media as well as advocating for regional/government heads.

Abstract

Public Health Nursing (Perkesmas) is one of the health centers' efforts that supports the improvement of public health status by integrating nursing knowledge/practice with public health through the support of active community participation. Perkesmas service activities can be carried out inside and outside the Puskesmas building. Nurses provide nursing care for individuals who come to the puskesmas, provide family nursing care and nursing care for special groups/health-prone groups in the Perkesmas target area (home visits to vulnerable families). The problem for partners who are appointed in this community service program is the Documentation of Individual Nursing Care in the Perkesmas program which is less than optimal. This program offers solutions that are expected to help solve partner problems. The method used is to develop an application system in the documentation of individual nursing care in the health care program. As a result of this community service program, partners have an application system that will make it easier for community health workers in documenting individual nursing care in the community health program. The results of this program will also be published in accredited national or international journals.

Abstract

Health Education and Blood Glucose Testing for Early Detection of Diabetes Mellitus in Sleman Village, Sliyeg District, Indramayu Regency Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in the 10th edition of the Atlas in 2021 reported that more than half a billion people worldwide live with diabetes, specifically 537 million people. Patients with diabetes mellitus often feel healthy, with early symptoms that are barely detectable. This leads patients with diabetes mellitus to seek healthcare services only after experiencing complications from other diseases. Based on this issue, community service activities are necessary, focusing on health education and random blood glucose testing for the early detection of diabetes mellitus in Sleman Village, Sliyeg District, Indramayu Regency. This activity aims for early disease detection so that the management of diabetes mellitus patients can be addressed promptly and effectively, thereby reducing mortality rates associated with diabetes mellitus. The results of blood glucose screenings conducted on 100 individuals showed that 45% had blood glucose levels above 200 mg/dl. After that, the entire community was provided with health education about diabetes mellitus aimed at increasing their knowledge of the disease. The community service activities received support from the Health Office and the community health center. Following this initiative, it is hoped that the health screening program, particularly blood glucose testing, can become a scheduled program for the community.
