Abstract

Education in schools can not be separated from the problems of students in reading the Qur'an, this is due to the background of students from general education, therefore, MTs Negeri 2 Bima school seeks to improve the quality of education by providing learning programs to read the Qur'an 'an through the empowerment of religious teachers so that religious teachers play an important role in guiding and teaching in certain ways. So the author wants to know how the efforts of religious teachers in overcoming the difficulties of reading the Qur'an, the difficulties experienced by students, as well as the factors supporting and inhibiting the efforts of religious teachers. The position of the author in this study as a participant observer is to participate in the group and declare himself as an observer. The data collection technique uses the observation method, which is a way of collecting data by observing the ongoing activities, the interview method is collecting data with a direct question and answer process with the resource person, and the documentation method, which is collecting data from records of events that have passed in the form of pictures and writings such as diaries. The results of the research show that the efforts of religious teachers are through teaching in the classroom by applying the habit of reading short suras, teaching recitation of tajwid with the lecture, question and answer method, and drill, in addition to being a BTQ coach by using the iqra' method through the media of the Qur'an. and iqra books, then evaluate learning. In addition, the religious teacher is also an imtaq builder who is responsible for overseeing the running of activities in which there is a recitation of the Qur'an in the hope that students will get used to reading fluently. Kata kunci: Guru Agama, Kesulitan Membaca Al-Qur’an

Abstract

The development of the times affects human life in various fields, one of which is the social field. This development has a negative impact, such as a lack of attention and supervision from parents to monitor the child's development. This can be seen from the morals of children who are familiar with social media, their behavior is getting less good. Based on the initial observations made by the researchers, there were some children in Arjosari Hamlet who experienced changes in behavior such as being lazy, ignoring parental orders, and not focusing on learning. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach, data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The research location is in Arjosari Hamlet, Ampelgading Village, Malang Regency. In this study, researchers found several forms of parental roles in overcoming children's behavior in the use of social media, such as accompanying children online, limiting and supervising the use of gadgets or social media, communication, more attention, and good examples. The supporting factor for this problem is the role of both parents, namely the teacher and parental discipline, while the inhibiting factors are time constraints, lack of communication, and dishonesty of children.

Abstract

Education is a milestone in the progress of character and personality formation, is a primary human need to improve its characteristics and potential. Education at school and at home is important in non-formal education, namely education in the family. The family is the first place for children to receive education and is the basic foundation for the formation of character and personality. Therefore, parents must be able to educate their children. In daily life, children are influenced by the surrounding environment, both in terms of association and family conditions, which do not pay attention to the growth and development of children to the point of fostering the religious character of children. However, the understanding of parents Regency who facilitates or finances children to schools or madrasas related to education and religious understanding is only seen as a formal matter and merely fulfilling obligations but as parents paying special attention to children in terms of substance is very minimal. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. Then, the data analysis method uses the Miles and Hubberman method. The results of the research are that parents or families have a very strategic responsibility in the formation of children's religious character. Therefore, all parental behavior, both mothers and fathers, must reflect good behavior that can be used as role models for children, including: manners of speaking, how to dress, neighborly ways of life and other things that can please the heart and feelings such as: attention, affection, providing a comfortable life for children. Giving motivation in goodness and provide good advice for the benefit and happiness of children in the future. The role of parents in the formation of the religious character of children in Dulicu Village, especially in RT 10 RW 05 has been very good, and the religious character of children in Dulicukan Village is also better than before. Kata Kunci: Religiou Characters, Parents,Children
