Abstract

Perkembangan Iman Orang Muda Katolik (OMK), khususnya di Paroki Hati Kudus Yesus Tomohon, mengalami kemerosotan. Hal ini tampak dalam sejumlah indikator di antaranya: banyak OMK tidak hadir dalam kegiatan-kegiatan persekutuan, baik yang bersifat liturgis sakramentali maupun sosial kemasyarakatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 95 responden dari 133 populasi OMK yang ada di Paroki Hati kudus yesus Tomohon. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, dengan bantuan software menggunakan SPSS 21.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa variabel pewartaan iman kristosentris berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan iman OMK di Paroki Hati Kudus Yesus Tomohon, dengan nilai Sig.t = 0,000<0,05. Sedangkan variabel manajemen modern tidak berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan iman omk (X2) dengan nilai Sig.t = 0, 272> 0,05. Kedua variabel bebas (Pewartaan Iman Kristosetris dan manajemen modern) terhadap perkembangan iman orang muda katolik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan iman orang muda katolik, dengan nilai sig. F = (0,000<0,05). Namun, apabila dilihat dari korelasi antar variabel penelitian ini menunjukan nilai R sebesar 0,631 yang artinya ada korelasi yang positif antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Selanjutnya ditinjau dari koefisien determinan sebesar 0,399 yang berarti pengaruh kedua variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat sebesar 39% sedangkan sisanya (61%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar model penelitian ini.

Abstract

This article wants to look at the understanding of the Basic Ecclesiastical Community (KBG) in the parish of St. Antonius Kali. The author's interest in discussing this theme is because the KBG style of life has existed since the First Congregation (Acts 2 & 4). This style has been revived since the 1950s in Brazil, FABC 1990, SAGKI 2000 and specifically the Manado Diocesan Synod 2018. The problem studied is how the understanding and practice of KBG in the parish of St. Antonius Kali, Manado Diocese. In the explanation, the KBG theory is discussed, then the author uses qualitative-phenomenological research methods with observation and interview techniques. The field findings were analyzed using KBG theory. The author found that the KBG in Kali is known as the spiritual area. In practice, the spiritual area has the characteristics of KBG: local church base, local community base, lay empowerment base, apostolic base, transformative pastoral care base. The KBG aims to revive evangelical values so that they are manifested in life. One of the methods offered is FGD (Focus Group Discussion) to involve community participation.

Abstract

The focus of research in this thesis is Understanding the Eucharist in Students and Students of Grades V and VI at St. Antonius Wailan Catholic Elementary School. The focus is described in the formulation of the problem, namely: (a) How do students and students of Grades V and VI at St. Antonius Wailan Catholic Elementary School understand the Eucharist? (b) What are the factors that support and inhibit the students of Grades V and VI at St. Antonius Wailan Catholic Elementary School to understand the Eucharist? (c) What efforts can be made to make students in Grades V and VI at Wailan Catholic Elementary understand the Eucharist? The type of research used in the preparation of this thesis is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out in three ways, namely: Observation, Interviews and Documentation Studies. In this study, the perpetrators and informants of the research were selected by the author using a purposive procedure, namely the determination of informants by selecting key persons who are in accordance with the criteria and problems of the research. The conclusion of this study consists of three parts. First: Students and students of Grades V and VI at St. Antonius Wailan Catholic Elementary School have understood quite well about the Eucharist as the source and peak of the faith of the people, because students and students of Grades V and VI understand that the Eucharist is a real supper of God and brings the grace of salvation and has a very important role in the life of the faithful. Second: The main supporting factor for students in grades V and VI at St. Anthony Wailan Catholic Elementary School in understanding the Eucharist is their involvement in liturgical duties in the church, the role of parents and teachers to support them in carrying out that task and their craft in following the Eucharist every week. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors for students and students in grades V and VI at St. Antonius Wailan Catholic Elementary School in understanding the Eucharist are not focused on participating in the Eucharistic Celebration and lack of self-involvement in church tasks and lack of understanding of learning about the Eucharist at school because the language used is difficult to understand. Third: Efforts that can be made by students and students of Grades V and VI at Wailan Catholic Elementary School to understand the Eucharist, namely building their own intentions to be diligent in participating in the Eucharist and actively involved in it, participating in collection activities, catechesis or other faith development activities with the theme of the Eucharist and the role of parents to set an example, namely being faithful in Eucharistic activities.

Abstract

The Manado Diocese Catholic Church implements a Church financial management system within the framework of transparent, objective and responsible financial management. In this context, it is necessary to involve lay pastoral staff who are considered capable and competent and have a high spirituality of service in order to realize the pastoral works of the Manado Diocese Church. This research aims to examine the phenomenon of the influence of accountability in parish financial management and the spirituality of pastoral servants in the context of achieving pastoral work. This research was conducted in all churches or parishes in the Kevikepan Tomohon area by taking 95 samples from 133 populations. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a survey approach. Through this method, researchers want to test hypotheses and at the same time explain the relationship between variables. The data analysis process uses the application of correlation statistics and multiple regression test to analyze the influence between variables and measure the level of relationship between each variable studied. The research results show that: First, there is a significant and linear influence between Financial Management Accountability and Pastoral Work Achievement, meaning that if Financial Management Accountability is implemented well and appropriately it will increase Pastoral Work Achievement in the Tomohon Kevikepan Parishes. Second, there is a relationship between the Spirituality of Pastoral Servants and the Achievement of Pastoral Work. This means that if the Spirituality of Pastoral Servants is interpreted well and effectively, then this will have the effect of increasing the Achievement of Pastoral Work in Tomohon Kevikepan Parishes. Third, the results of hypothesis testing and multiple correlation and multiple regression analysis prove that there is an influence between Financial Management Accountability and Pastoral Servant Spirituality together on Pastoral Work Achievement. Furthermore, it can be concluded that an accountable financial management model supported by the spirituality of pastoral servants can increase the achievement of pastoral work in parishes.

Abstract

Servant Leadership is a leadership concept oriented towards serving others. The practice of Servant Leadership is also carried out by teachers in schools, with each having their own unique characteristics. This research aims to understand the reality of Servant Leadership and teacher characteristics, as well as to analyze whether there is an influence of servant leadership on teacher characteristics at Catholic Junior High School Stella Maris Tomohon. This research is of the quantitative type, with the research variables being Servant Leadership (X) and Teacher Characteristics (Y). Data were collected using questionnaires. The analysis technique used was simple regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show that the Servant Leadership variable (X) has a significant positive influence on the Teacher Characteristics variable (Y). This is because the significance value 0.014 < probability 0.05 and the calculated T value is greater than the tabled T value 2.034 (3.138 < 2.034). For leaders at Catholic Junior High School Stella Maris Tomohon, it is important to consider input from others, especially teachers and staff. For teachers at Catholic Junior High School Stella Maris Tomohon, it is important to always pay attention to their characteristics as teachers, which include being humble, skilled at managing time, respecting the process, being open-minded, and being confident as important indicators in shaping teacher characteristics.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam proposal ini adalah kegiatan PKM bagi kalangan praktisi pastoral paroki-paroki di wilayah Gereja Katolik Kevikepan Tomohon. Kevikepan adalah istilah yang digunakan untuk menyebut satu wilayah Gereja yang meliputi beberapa paroki dalam hal ini di Kota Tomohon yang pada saat ini terdiri dari 8 paroki, 11 stasi, 240 komunitas basis territorial dan 219 komunitas basis kategorial. Persoalan penting yang dihadapi oleh para praktisi pastoral adalah mengenai pencatatan dan pelaporan program dan anggaran paroki setiap tahun. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah, seluruh peserta dapat memahami dan mengoperasikan aplikasi pengelolaan keuangan paroki. Dengan demikian diharapkan bahwa target setiap paroki untuk mencapai peningkatan relasisasi program dan budget setiap tahun dapat terwujud. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah pelatihan yang disertai dengan presentasi dan demostrasi penggunaan system pengelolaan keuangan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan paroki berbasis digital dapat diadopsi sebagai metode efektif dan akunatbel untuk pelaksanaan sistem pengelolaan keuangan paroki dan dapat pula digunakan sebagai modul pembelajaran pada mata kuliah pastoral paroki atau mata kuliah metodik pekerjaan pastoal.
