Fungsi dari perpustakaan salah satunya adalah manajemen perpustakaan. Setiap bahan pustaka yang diadakan di perpustakaan memang harus dilakukan pengolahan. Pengolahan ini dilakukan berdasarkan dengan sistem yang berlaku, dimulai dari seleksi bahan pustaka, mengiventarisasi bahan pustaka, stempel, menentukan subjek dari bahan pustaka, klasifikasi, mengkatalogisasi, memberikan call number pada punggung buku, dan disampul. Sehingga bahan pustaka yang sudah dilakukan pengolahan bisa ditata di rak. Penetaan buku di rak atau yang sering disebut dengan selving merupakan kegiatan perpustakaan untuk mempermudah penggunanya dalam mengakses kembali informasi yang ada di perpustakaan tersebut. Begitu juga dengan perpustakaan Yayasan Shuwo, melakukan kerjasama dengan jurusan ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi islam untuk melakukan manajemen pengelolah bahan pustaka, agar bahan pustaka yang ada di perpustakaan Yayasan Shuwo lebih tertata dan mempermudah proses temu kembali informasi di perpustakaan Yayasan Shuwo juga menjadi lebih tepat, relevan, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan penggunanya.

This research raised about the effect Organizational Communication Climatic of CISRAL’s Library Performance at the University of Padjadjaran, and also tells about every point of the indicator: trust, participatory decision making, openness in communication, listening in communication up to and think about the goals of high-performance. This research use survey descriptive and quantitative survey explanatory with path analysis which is used to determine the influence of the independent variable of organizational communication climate dimensions (X) with the confidence indicator, participatory decision making, openness in communication, listening in communication up to and think about goals high performance to the performance of the library (Y). Based on the results of this study can be concluded the discussion of organizational communication climate influence directly and indirectly to the performance of the library at the University of Padjadjaran CISRAL.

The management of dynamic records becomes the reference of an organization to achieve the goals of the organization. Dynamic archives will not be separated from correspondence in each unit at the agency. The background of this research is that the archives of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah (FUAD) IAIN Batusangkar have not been maximized. The research that the author uses is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. There were 4 informants in this assessment consisting of 1 Head of Administration and 4 archiving officers in the Faculty environment, are a receptionist manager, 3 departmental employees namely 1 Department of Library and Islamic Science Department 1 employee, Islamic Broadcast Communication 1 people and employees majoring in Islamic Political Thought 1 person. Based on observations made by the author, it can be concluded that the management of dynamic archives at the Faculty of Usuluddin Adab and Da'wah (FUAD) of Batusangkar IAIN has not run optimally, for the management of incoming and outgoing letters such as official letters, student letters in their distribution require a long time especially when the receptionist was not in place because the receptionist was a lecturer employed. Staff limitations and the difficulty in re-finding archives are due to the management of archives that are not in accordance with the standards and inadequate supporting facilities. Archival shrinkage in the Faculty of Usuluddin Adab and Da'wah has not used the Archive Retention Schedule.

University libraries exist to support the teaching , learning and research needs of their institution. This is done by providing the latest information sources for the academic community as university library users. This mission can be achieved well through effective and periodic marketing of information and library services, one of which is through reference services. This article discusses the use of reference and information services in supporting distance learning as one of the impacts of the spread of the Covid 19 outbreak (current situation and the way forward). The research method is quantitative descriptive research, with 78 respondents and using literature related to the transformation of reference services in the digital era. Data collection is processed based on the results of observations, interviews of the IAIN Batusangkar library reference service and other college libraries in providing online reference services. The analysis explains the presence of a reference service for students, especially Library Science students at IAIN Batusangkar. Analyzing how the media can help reference librarians in providing optimal services to the academic community remotely. Describe the strategies that reference librarians can use in creating real time reference transactions in a technology environment while maintaining the main function of reference services. Introducing the idea of a ‘new face’ model of reference and information services for the IAIN Batusangkar library in the period of distance learning, especially the rapid change in learning systems as a result of the corona virus outbreak ( covid 19). Libraries need to improve the reference service system they provide, so that the academic community can meet their information needs through library services remotely, anytime and anywhere. At the end of this paper, it is intended that librarians, especially reference librarians. Continue to serve readers with different needs, librarians must walk across the library, access computer screens from all campus intranet systems, answer emails and explore other interactive tools to reach customers in an effective, practical and effective way. Efficient in order to always satisfy users and keep closer to them, as the main purpose of the presence of reference services.

Keberadaan Rumah Baca sangat membantu dalam memenuhi kekurangan jasa Perpustakaan Umum. Rumah Baca Selaras Alam yang merupakan bagian dari Perpustakaan Umum kehadirannya memberikan warna tersendiri bagi masyarakat Nagari Lasi untuk memperoleh informasi yang mereka butuhkan. Sarana Prasarana yang ada di rumah Baca Selaras Alam sangat bermanfaat dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat Nagari Lasi yang haus akan ilmu pengetahuan dan informasi. Rumah Baca Selaras Alam merupakan tempat berdiskusi, dan tempat perkumpulan bagi masyarakat Nagari Lasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pembahasannya adalah 1) kelembagaan di Rumah Baca Selaras Alam tidak terstruktur dan tidak efektif, hal ini dilihat dari pembagian tugas dilakukan ketika melaksanakan kegiatan. 2) koleksi yang ada di Rumah Baca kurang memadai dan perlu adanya penambahan koleksi. 3) pendanaan di Rumah Baca Selaras Alam diperoleh dari swadaya masyarakat. 4) Hari Libur Sekolah merupakan jadwal kunjungan terbanyak dari Komunitas Selara Alam ini. 5) Kendala yang dihadapi di Rumah Baca adalah tidak memiliki tenaga profesional yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan ilmu perpustakaan.

Pembinaan rumah baca dilakukan di yayasan Siti Hajir Uwo (Shuwo) pada hari Jumat tanggal 12 Maret 2021. Yayasan Shuwo berada di Kenagarian Sungayang Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Yayasan ini memiliki rumah baca yang berada di nagari Sungayang tersebut. Rumah baca ini baru dibuka, oleh sebab itu yayasan ini membutuhkan bantuaan pembinaan dalam mengelola rumah baca tersebut. Kehadiran rumah baca merupakan suatu wadah yang bisa digunakan oleh masyarakat sekitar nagari sungayang untuk meningkatkan literasi informasi. Dengan meningkatnya literasi informasi maka akan menjadikan nagari sungayang dengan masyarakat yang berwawasan luas karena memiliki rumah baca yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di nagari Sungayang tersebut. Pembinaan rumah baca ini dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen dari Fakultas Ushuluddin Adab dan Dakwah IAIN Batusangkar dan 10 orag mahasiswa yang berasal dari program studi ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi islam. Setelah dilakukan pembinaan pada tanggal 12 April tersebut maka hasil yang diperoleh adalah buku-buku yang sudah terssusun dengan rapi dan dosen-dosen yang mengikuti pembinaan ini memberikan informasi bagaimana mengelola rumah baca yang baik.Kata Kunci: pembinaan, rumah baca, literasi, informasi

AbstrakPermasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) sebagai alat temu kembali informasi bagi pengunjung di Perpustakaan Umum Kota Bukitinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasikan pemanfaatan OPAC sebagai alat temu kembali informasi dan untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi pengguna dalam menggunakan OPAC dan upaya untuk mengatasi kendala saat menelusuri informasi menggunakan OPAC di Perpustakaan Umum Kota Bukittinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian yang penulis temukan bahwa pemanfaatan OPAC sebagai alat pencarian informasi belum digunakan secara optimal, daripada menggunakan OPAC sebagai sarana penelusuran informasi, pemustaka cenderung langsung ke rak buku untuk menelusuri buku yang mereka butuhkan. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman pengguna dalam menggunakan OPAC sebagai alat temu kembali informasi. Pernyataan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan OPAC di Perpustakaan Umum Kota Bukittinggi kurang baik, disebabkan ada kendala yang dihadapi pengguna yaitu kendala internal dan eksternal, seperti kurangnya sosialisasi pihak perpustakaan terhadap pengunjung perpustakaan. Ketersedian komputer sebagai sarana untuk mencari informasi masih kurang dan belum ada buku panduan atau petunjuk dalam menggunakan Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).Kata Kunci: Pemanfaatan Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), Temu Balik Informasi

The main problem in this thesis is the interest of visiting users in children's services at the Padang Panjang City Library. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the innovation of children's services "KURENAH storytelling" influenced the interest of visiting users at the Regional Library of Padang Panjang City. This type of research is a fielresearch with qualitaative descriptive memethodsThe research was conducted at the Regional Library of Padang Panjang City with primary data sources being library managers and parents who came to visit the Regional Library of Padang Panjang City. Data obtained from interviews and documentation, the research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that the effect of implementing the child service innovation "KURENAH storytelling" on increasing user visits at the Padang Panjang City Library is assessed from several indicators, namely good service, facilities and infrastructure provided, attractiveness (promotion), and safety of the places visited. From these indicators, it can be seen that the increase in user visits at the Padang Panjang City Library has proven that the implementation of the child service innovation "KURENAH storytelling" has an effect on increasing user visits, but there is one indicator that is less influential due to the current Covid-19 condition.Keywords: Innovation, Children's services, Storytelling, Interest in visiting
