Abstract

On the railway track, a change in layout and space can be found oftenly in order to improve the function of the railway to be better and have a high degree of reliability. This research aimed to analyze the slope stability due to the load that occurs when used concrete sleepers instead of gabion, as well as to find out the safety factors of hiping construction using concrete sleepers. The calculation of railway slope stability considers three models of slope failure: failure due to bolsters, shear forces, and soil bearing capacity. The calculation results of slope stability and force that occurs in the reinforcement is verified using Plaxis 2D CE V20 software with the output in the form of safety factors. Based on the results of the research, the alternative reinforcement using used concrete pads as a substitute for gabions has a deformation value of 0.1058 m with a safety factor of 1.638. So, the alternative is safe against landslides during the construction period having an FK value > 1.5 exceeding the minimum safety factor value.

Abstract

Visual Media 3 Dimensions Sketch Up is a program that is used for modeling in a field of making 3-dimensional objects of buildings. The purpose of 3-dimensional visualization is to facilitate the five senses in interpreting images. This is because the ability to present visual forms must be supported by an environment that can provide clarity of information about the location of the object to be addressed by each individual. Heritage buildings contain many values ??of cultural elements. The building has aesthetic and cultural values ??both from the exterior and interior of the building. The historical value of Heritage buildings is able to provide massive evidence of an event in the past. All values ??contained in the Heritage building contribute value to the individual or community concerned. In the asset data of the station building DAOP 2 BANDUNG belonging to PT. KAI, Heritage buildings may not be destroyed or relocated. This is because the building has historical significance. As one of the efforts to maintain the shape and value of the Heritage building is to carry out 3-Dimensional digital visualization so that the original form of the building is already available in the data bank owned by PT. KAI (Persero). This also supports the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) which is a digital representation of the physical characteristics and functional characteristics of a building.

Abstract

Jalan kereta api umumnya dibangun di atas subgrade yang memiliki daya dukung tinggi agar dapat menahan beban dan mencegah penurunan ballast sehingga rel tetap pada tempatnya. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan jalan rel semakin meningkat dan beberapa lokasi jalan kereta api sangat mungkin dibangun di atas tanah lempung lunak sehingga rentan mengalami ketidakstabilan tanah seperti amblesan di sepanjang jalur hilir yang terjadi pada daerah rawan KM 348+200 s.d. 349+600 di Emplasemen Stasiun Talang Padang Divre III Palembang. Penanganan yang bisa dilakukan dengan penambahan perkuatan pada tanah untuk meningkatkan daya dukung yang dapat menahan beban dinamis kereta api. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai metode penanganan dengan tiga alternatif yaitu (1) metode perkuatan tanah alternatif ke-1 menggunakan pelat beton dan kayu gelam, (2) metode perkuatan tanah alternatif ke-2 menggunakan matras bambu dan kayu gelam, (3) metode perkuatan tanah alternatif ke-3 menggunakan portal dan geotextile. Analisis perhitungan dilakukan menggunakan program PLAXIS 2D CE V20 dengan tiga alternatif penanganan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu (1) alternatif ke-1 deformasi sebesar 29.51 cm dengan faktor keamanan 1.398, (2) alternatif ke-2 deformasi sebesar 31.56 cm dengan faktor keamanan 1.445, (3) alternatif ke-3 deformasi sebesar 0.71 cm dengan faktor keamanan 2.237. Berdasarkan ketiga alternatif, metode yang dapat dilakukan untuk karakteristik tanah pada lokasi studi yaitu alternatif ke-3 dengan menggunakan portal dan geotextile, dimana FK > 1.5 melebihi nilai faktor keamanan minimum.

Abstract

A railroad crossing is a cross between a railroad track and a motorized highway. Based on data and field reports at railroad crossings with highways, it is often found that damage to the asphalt layer (Surface Coarse). The cause of asphalt damage occurs due to a shift between the ballast gravel under the asphalt surface. Where the asphalt layer should be on a solid pavement or foundation, so that the life of the asphalt surface will be more durable. So to overcome these problems, a comparative study was conducted on the planning of retrofitting of the crossing using reinforced concrete slabs and using used railroad tracks. In the design of the reinforced concrete slab, a plate measuring 3x0.6 meters thick 7 cm with a concrete quality of K-225 (18.68 Mpa) is used which can withstand a train axle load of 18 tons. The load on the used railroad tracks is used by large-loaded vehicles, namely truck loads of 10 tons.

Abstract

that plays an important role in the movement of people, not only in the movement of people but in distributing goods. The train is called the safest mode of transportation because it has its own track. However, there are several obstacles that obstruct train operations, which is natural disasters. In June 2022 there was a landslide on the Km. 63+100 up to Km. 63+200 between Doplang Station and Randublatung Station, Daop 4 Semarang. One of the causes of landslides is scouring at river bends. In the outer bend area of ??the river where the flow velocity is relatively high, erosion occurs which erodes the river body. Therefore, with the help of ArcGIS 10.5 software, the catchment area is 112.876 km2 ­ (calculated), which is one of the parameters to calculate the amount of flood discharge. By using the Nakayasu method, the 25 years return period flood discharge at the problem area is 353.3 m3/s.

Abstract

On the railway bridge, there are calculated loads. Loads are grouped into three, namely girder loads, additional dead loads, and live loads. Currently, the train load is planned based on the Live Load (RM) 1921 scheme. On the bridge, BH Number 998 which connects Merapi Station with Sukacinta Station is passed by 2 CC 204 locomotives and 60 PPCW wagons. Load analysis was carried out by determining the axle load and axle distance adjusted to spans of 30 m, 40 m, and 60 m. Then, we can do a comparison with the realization of the existing load. The calculation results show that span 60 has a safety factor value of more than 1.5. So, it can be concluded that the live load that crosses the BH Number 998 bridge at span 60 has met SNI.
