Fenomena anak jalanan adalah salah satu permasalahan sosial yang dapat ditemukan di mana saja, termasuk di Merauke, Papua. Anak jalanan di Merauke, dikenal dengan istilah anak aibon, karena kebiasaan mereka dalam menghirup lem aibon. Permasalahan anak aibon ini dapat dianalisis menggunakan teori sosiologi, khususnya teori Fungsionalisme oleh Parsonn dan juga teori tindakan sosial oleh Weber. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan pengambilan data melalui observasi dan juga wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan di Pokja SD Ermasu Merauke dengan mewawancarai 10 anak aibon. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan dideskripsikan. Keberadaan anak aibon di Merauke menunjukkan permasalahan sosial yaitu tidak berjalannya fungsi lembaga keluarga, masyarakat, dan juga pemerintah (disfungsional sistem). Akibatnya adalah terjadinya perubahan sosial dalam sistem masyarakat itu sendiri. Tindakan anak aibon merupakan tindakan sosial murni (zwerk rational), karena mereka menghirup lem aibon secara sadar untuk mendapatkan ketenangan dan kenyamanan dari permasalahan hidup. Penyelesaian masalah ini harus melibatkan keluarga, pemerintah Merauke dan juga masyarakat Merauke.

The sar culture is the pre-existing culture of the Kanum tribe whose implementation is aimed to maintain and preserve nature. Sar culture not only has a positive influence on the environment, but it also represents symbolic violence against women and the Kanum people. This research is aimed to describe sar culture based on the theory of habitus and symbolic violence by Bourdieu. This research involved a qualitative descriptive method, in which the data was obtained from in-depth interviews with Kanum tribal head, Kanum tribe elders, and some village residents involved in sar, observation in Naukenjerai district, and supported by literature review. All collected data were then analyzed descriptively according to the concepts of habitus and symbolic violence by Bourdieu. The research results show that sar culture is a habitus resulting from an interaction between human beings and their nature that has existed for long before. Besides that, there is symbolic violence to the Kanum women and also to the Kaum people, which done by the Kanum men and the leaders of the Kanum tribe as the dominant actors.

Handphone kini menjadi alat komunikasi pilihan utama yang dipakai oleh beragam kalangan, termasuk para remaja. Tersedianya beragam fitur pendukung di handphone membuat para remaja semakin menyukai produk teknologi komunikasi ini. Namun, mengingat masa remaja merupakan masa transisi dimana remaja cenderung memiliki sifat yang ambivalen terhadap berbagai perubahan, maka kehadiran handphone sebagai produk komunikasi berteknologi canggih bisa membawa sejumlah dampak bagi remaja sebagai konsumennya. Kondisi tersebut yang melatarbelakangi penulis untuk melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui serta menjelaskan dampak penggunaan handphone terhadap moralitas dan karakter remaja. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif, dimana subjek penelitiannya adalah remaja gereja berusia 13-15 tahun di Jemaat GKI Sarah Merauke yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar remaja awal menunjukkan sikap positif ketika menggunakan handphone. Remaja awal juga memiliki moralitas dan karakter yang baik terkait dengan penggunaan handphone. Hanya sebagian kecil remaja yang menunjukkan moralitas dan karakter yang buruk ketika menggunakan handphone.

Indonesia consists of various ethnic-groups, religions, races, etc which are the potential base of human resources. It could be created optimally if placed in equal aspiration framework then gives the great power. In the other side, the diversity has a potentialal to gives social crime-infested such as social conflict. Based on the view above, the writer writes this thesis entitled an observation of social ethics towards the paradox of religion role and freedom of religion in terms of conflicts in Indonesia.This is a descriptive qualitative research which for explain objectively and obviously regarding social ethics towards the paradox of religion role and freedom of religion in terms of conflicts in Indonesia.Conflicts happened in Indonesia lately caused by religion predicted. If it analyzed, religion is not a main cause of the conflicts happened in Ambon or other cities in Indonesia because every religion teaches kindness. Exclusives and excessive solidarity of some members of a religious community that cause conflicts among people. Based on ethics, the exclusives of some members leads to immoral behavior in terms of religion the worst thing. Specifically ethics focus on how people should life in relation with society to achieve security, safety and welfare. Ethics helps us not to loss orientation in transformation of culture, social, economy, politics and intellectual.Conflicts of religions that happened in Indonesia make freedom of religion concept is not appreciated as a human right. Religion should have a role to establish pluralism admit that every religion is legal and has value of righteousness.

ABSTRACTJapanese occupation in Indonesia which occurred in 1942-1945 had a huge impactfor the life ofthe Indonesian people. One of this impact is theexistence of comfort women, the indigenous woman whois forcedto serve thesexual needs of Japanese soldier and civilians. As a result ofsexual violence experienced by the former comfort womenin the past, bringing the min suffering both economically, psychologically and socially.This researchaimsto analyze thepsycho-social impactof one ofthe formercomfort womeninonevillageinSemarang. The method usedin this study isa qualitativecase studywithdata collection techniquessuch asobservation, interviewand literature study.The results show that the key informant, the former comfort women who became the object of this study suffered prolonged trauma and psychiatric disorders Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD. Former comfort women experiencing symptoms include repetition of the experience of trauma, avoidance and emotional numbing and increased sensitivity. In addition, the victim also suffered PTSD disorders include panic attacks, avoidance behavior, depressy, kill thoughts and feelings, and feel excluded and alone. But on the other hand the presence of the victim as former comfort women were not overly impact on social life. This is evident from the attitude of the local community who want to accept the existence of victims like ordinary community members and are not too concerned with the past that happened to the victim as former comfort women.

Corruption is a problem that is being faced by almost all countries in the world. One way to prevent corruption is to strengthen anti-corruption character education. This study aims to analyze the basic anti-corruption values based on local wisdom of the Malind tribe to strengthen the anti-corruption character for elementary school students in Merauke. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with observation and interview data collection techniques. Observations were made by observing the environment and the life of the Malind tribe. Interviews were conducted with the adat leader, the adat secretary, as well as several Malind tribal communities. The results showed that in everyday life there are several local wisdoms or attitudes of the Malind tribe which are the same as anti-corruption values. These values are honest (hekaymayan), caring (anim bekatik), independent (anepkaitika), discipline (wetkatane), responsibility (weglah), hard work (payaa), simplicity (hayakla), courage (yaman), and just ( sangahawekla). These values can be included in lessons at school in order to form an anti-corruption character towards students.

Masih rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa yang berdampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa menjadi alasan mengapa penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerpan media pembelajaran charta berbasis android untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan hasil belajar siswa dilakukan. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi-eksperimental design berupa nonequivalent post-test only control group design.terdiri dari 16 peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan 15 peserta didik kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode tes dan observasi. Metode dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu manova dengan perolehan hasil 0,00 kurang dari 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, pembelajaran e-charta berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca dan hasil belajar baik secara simultan maupuan secara parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis e-charta berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca dan hasil belajar peserta didik baik secara bersama-sama maupuan secara parsial. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar adalah komponen yang paling dipengaruhi dengan adanya pembelajan dengan media e-charta. Hal ini dilihat dari nilai mean masing-masing variabel, sehingga bisa direkomendasikan media e-charta sebagai solusi untuk meningkatakan kemampuan membaca dan hasil belajar siswa.
