Abstract

Education plays an important role in the development of science and technology by creating skilled human resources. In learning activities, motivation and of course the learning outcomes themselves cannot be separated. Experts say that good learning outcomes are influenced by high motivation. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is influence between students' learning motivation and student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 73 Jakarta Class XI in the even semester of the academic year. This study uses a survey method to find the relationship between variables with a simple linear regression technique. Sampling used was purposive sampling, amounting to 150 students. Instruments in the form of a questionnaire / questionnaire learning motivation and daily test scores of all students of class XI. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is known that there is an influence between the learning motivation variable on the learning outcomes of class XI students in the compulsory mathematics subject at SMA Negeri 73 Jakarta. The results showed that the simple regression model can be used to predict learning motivation variables on learning outcomes, or there is an effect of learning motivation variables (X) on learning outcomes (Y), with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The relationship between interest and learning motivation on mathematics learning achievement among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 80 Jakarta; (2) The relationship between learning interest and mathematics learning achievement at SMP Negeri 80 Jakarta; (3) The relationship between learning motivation and mathematics learning achievement among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 80 Jakarta. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with a type of quantitative descriptive research. The research population includes all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 80 Jakarta. Meanwhile, the research sample consists of 75 students. The data collection technique in this research involves the use of instruments, namely: (1) learning interest questionnaire, (2) learning motivation questionnaire, and (3) even semester final exam scores. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results of descriptive statistical analysis indicate that students' learning interest scores reached 77.3%, falling into the moderate category. Meanwhile, learning motivation reaches 73.3%, categorized as high, and learning achievement at 89.3% is in the category of beginning to develop.

Abstract

Indonesia's growth cannot be separated from Indonesia's economic growth. The agricultural sector has a massive and significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth. One of the agricultural products that’s important is rice. Rice is a seasonal crop that is very necessary for human survival. Karawang, one of the districts in West Java Province, which is known as Lumbung Padi City, is the location of the main topic in making this journal. In fact, based on BPS data, the area harvested for paddy fields in Karawang from 2010-2015 was found not to have increased regularly from year to year. This is interesting to discuss because the rice harvest area is expected to increase regularly to support Indonesia's economic growth. Of course, this is because the rice harvest area will affect the amount of rice produced in the rice fields. By ignoring other internal and external factors of rice growth, this journal will only focus on rice harvest area based on rice growth phases (vegetative 1, vegetative 2, and generative) and accumulated harvest area using the Gauss Jordan elimination method. Calculations are carried out to determine the possibility of farmers to predict the maximum amount of rice production and avoid losses in purchasing materials to support rice growth

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop a teaching material product for teaching Mathematics. The product developed is an electronic module containing instructional videos aimed at addressing common issues in online learning. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D). The R&D stages included analyzing field needs, designing the concept of the developed product, designing the product itself, and validating the product with three experts: Content Validator, Media Validator, and Language validator. Based on the questionnaire validation from the experts on the e-module development, the findings are as follows: Content validation scored 73.5 out of 75 in total, or 4.9 out of 5 on a scale of 5. The score interval obtained was 98%, indicating that the content validity criteria are highly valid. Language validation aspect indicated that the language used is highly valid, scoring 50 out of 50 in total, or 5 out of 5 on a scale of 5, meeting the 100% validity criteria. Media validation scored 65.33 out of 75, or 4.35 out of 5 on a scale of 5. The score interval obtained was 87%, indicating that the media validity criteria are very valid.
