Abstract

Government in November 2020 passed Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation, then in February 2021 the Government stipulated implementing regulations from Law Number 11 of 2020, namely Government Regulation Number 35 of 2021 concerning Certain Time Work Agreements, Outsourcing, Working Time, and Rest Time, and Termination of Employment. On March 11, 2020, the world health organization World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as a Global Pandemic, and on April 13, 2020, the Government of Indonesia issued a Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2020 concerning the Determination of Non-Natural Disasters for the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as National Disasters. People infected with the Covid-19 outbreak every day continue to increase, as well as the number of deaths due to the Covid-19 outbreak continues to grow. The Central Government and the Dareah Government issued policies to prevent and overcome the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, namely by implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). With the existence of PSBB and PPKM by the Government, several sectors, especially the accommodation provision sector, tourism business, food and beverage business, real estate, and construction, have experienced a direct impact as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the existence of PSBB and PPKM. The tourism sector, especially hotels, has experienced a decrease in income due to the lack of guests staying, forcing employers to lay off their workers/workers without providing wages to reduce expenses and save company finances. This thesis research analyzes the impact arising from workers/workers being laid off without being given wages and legal considerations on the decision of the Industrial Relations Court at the Central Jakarta District Court with case number: 398 / Pdt. Sus PHI / 2021 / PN. JKT. PST. The purpose of this decision analysis is to find out the Request for Termination of Employment (PHK) by Workers / Workers because they were laid off for more than three months without wages based on Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation.

Abstract

Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA) are solid wastes from coal consumption in Steam Power Plants (PLTU). Approximately 55% - 85% of the ash produced from the coal consumption cycle is in the form of fly ash and the rest is in the form of bottom ash. This study was conducted to determine the characteristics of bottom ash waste that are right for cement bricks and how much the compressive strength value of cement brick tests using bottom ash waste is. This study is a quantitative analysis by conducting several tests to obtain descriptive purposes. Based on the results of the study, the use of bottom ash waste as an additional material for making cement bricks is considered to be able to reduce environmental impacts seen from the amount of bottom ash waste used during the cement brick study and from the results of the compressive strength test, the use of bottom ash waste variations of 50%, 75%, and 100% is not recommended for cement bricks.

Abstract

At the end of 2020, to be precise in November 2020, the government passed Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation. Several months later, namely in February 2021, the government stipulated implementing regulations for Law Number 11 of 2020, namely Government Regulation Number 35 of 2020 concerning Specific Time Work Agreements, Outsourcing, Working Time and Rest Time, as well as Termination of Employment Relations. Abstract

Bridges are vital infrastructure that play a crucial role in supporting community mobility and logistics distribution. Regular inspections are essential to ensure the safety and operational feasibility of these structures. This study aims to evaluate the physical and structural condition of the GTI Bridge located in Kampung Makassar Timur. The inspection methods employed include visual assessment, structural dimension measurements, and evaluatpion of key elements such as the bridge deck, support beams, columns, and joints. The inspection results indicate minor to moderate damage in several structural components, including hairline cracks on concrete surfaces, corrosion on steel elements, and deterioration of protective coatings. Based on the analysis, the bridge is deemed serviceable, provided that routine maintenance and repairs are carried out on the affected parts. Maintenance and repair recommendations have been formulated to extend the service life of the bridge and prevent potential safety hazards in the future.

Abstract

The rapid development of infrastructure in various sectors, including buildings, bridges, and towers, has increased the demand for concrete as a primary construction material. Concrete is widely used due to its advantages such as high compressive strength, durability, fire resistance, and economic efficiency. The compressive strength of concrete is generally evaluated at 28 days, while early-age strength development can be used to estimate its final performance.This study aims to evaluate the characteristics of local Class C quarry materials in Ibu Selatan District and to design a concrete mix with a target compressive strength of F’c 21 MPa using the SNI 7656:2012 method. Fine and coarse aggregates were obtained from local quarry sources in West Halmahera Regency. The engineering properties of the materials were tested to ensure compliance with concrete requirements.Concrete specimens were cast in cylindrical molds measuring 15 cm × 30 cm and tested for compressive strength at curing ages of 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. The results show that the compressive strength increased with curing age, indicating normal strength development. The 28-day compressive strength reached the target design value of F’c 21 MPa, confirming that the mix design method is effective for producing normal concrete using local materials.The study concludes that local quarry materials from Ibu Selatan District are suitable for use in structural concrete and can reduce dependence on imported materials while remaining economically efficient.

Abstract

Utilizing local materials in construction is a strategic approach to reduce development costs, especially in regions with limited logistical access. This study aims to assess the compressive strength characteristics of concrete made from local aggregates: fine aggregate from Joubela Village and coarse aggregate from Sabala Village. This approach is expected to provide an economical and efficient alternative for regional infrastructure development. The methodology involved testing the physical properties of the aggregates and designing concrete mixes according to SNI 03-2834-2000 standards. Results showed that the fine aggregate from Joubela has a specific gravity of 1.97 g/cm³, a fineness modulus of 2.96% (zone 3), a unit weight of 1.69 g/cm³, clay content of 2.50%, and moisture content of 4.60%. Meanwhile, the coarse aggregate from Sabala has a specific gravity of 2.58 g/cm³, clay content of 0.27%, moisture content of 1.97%, fineness modulus of 7.52%, loose unit weight of 1.60 g/cm³, and compacted unit weight of 1.66 g/cm³. Both materials meet the quality requirements for concrete aggregates. Based on compressive tests with a mix design of 51.5 kg cement, 24.7 liters water, 61.1 kg fine aggregate, and 157.7 kg coarse aggregate, an average compressive strength of 23.95 MPa was obtained after 28 days, exceeding the target of 21.7 MPa. Therefore, the combination of aggregates from both villages shows high potential for use in structural concrete. Future research should include cost-efficiency analysis and durability testing in aggressive environments to ensure material sustainability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kebutuhan bahan dan kuat tekan beton normal antara metode SNI 03-2834-2000 dan SNI 7656: 2012 Menggunakan material Lokal Togafo, Kota Ternate dengan menggunakan ukuran agregat kasar maksimum 20 mm dan 40 mm, yang diterapkan pada mutu rencana (fc') 26,4 MPa,. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengujian material dan uji tekan pada spesimen silinder dengan ukuran diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm, pada hari ke 28. Dari Hasil Penelitian terdahulu analisis menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan semen dengan metode SNI 03-2834-2000 lebih tinggi dari SNI 7656: 2012, kebutuhan agregat kasar maksimum 20 mm dengan nilai fc 'adalah 15 MPa dan 20 MPa lebih banyak pada SNI 03-2834-2000 dibandingkan SNI 7656: 2012, namun kebutuhan untuk fc '25 MPa pada metode SNI 03-2834-2000 kurang dari SNI 7656: 2012. Kebutuhan agregat kasar dengan ukuran maksimum 40 mm dengan metode SNI 03-2834-2000 kurang dari SNI 7656: 2012, dan kebutuhan air dengan metode SNI 03-2834-2000 lebih tinggi dari SNI 7656: 2012. Nilai kuat tekan pada kedua metode tersebut telah memenuhi mutu rencana, namun metode SNI 03-2834-2000 menghasilkan nilai kuat tekan yang lebih besar dari pada metode SNI 7656: 2012.

Abstract

Teknologi konstruksi bangunan di Indonesia mengalami perkembangan yang lumayan signifikan di setiap tahunnya. Seiring dengan perkembangan tersebut, semakin tinggi pula kebutuhan masyarakat luas terhadap pemakaian beton sebagai salah satu jenis bahan konstruksi bangunan. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan cangkang kulit pala sebagai bahan tambah dalam pembuatan beton . Cangkang kulit pala terlebih dahulu dibersihkan kemudian dikalsinasi pada suhu diatas 90 oC selama 3 jam dengan menggunakan tungku pembakaran. Setelah dikalsinasi dihaluskan untuk dijadikan serbuk. Dari hasil pengujian densitas mortar normal, bahan tambah abu cangkang kulit pala normal, 5% dan 10% didapatkan nilai rata-rata dari masing-masing hasil pengujian yaitu, 2,274 kg/m³, 2,269 kg/m³ dan 2,264 kg/m³. Sedangkan hasil pengujian absorsi mortar normal , bahan tambah abu cangkang kulit pala 5% dan 10% didapatkan nilai rata-rata dari masing-masing hasil pengujian absorsi yaitu, 0,11% 0,11% dan 2,264%. Dan hasil pengujian kuat tekan mortar normal, 5% dan 10% di dapatkan nilai rata-rata dari hasil pengujian pengujian yaitu, 14,15 MPa, 17,92 MPa. dan 7,85 MPa. Dari hasil pngujian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa penambahan abu cangkang kulita pala dengan variasi sebanyak 5% ternyata lebih tinggi dari mortar normal dan variasi 10%.

Abstract

Background: The increasing demand for rapid, affordable, and reliable housing has encouraged innovation in construction methods, including the RISHA modular system. However, its cost and time efficiency compared with conventional construction remain debated, especially in post-disaster and remote areas. Objective: This study aims to compare the construction costs and implementation time of the RISHA (Rumah Instan Sederhana Sehat) modular construction method and the conventional construction method for a Type 36 single-story house. Methods: This research employed a comparative quantitative approach. Data analysis included: (1) calculating work volume for each work category, (2) conducting unit price analysis based on the Ministry of Public Works and Housing’s Standard Unit Price Analysis (Analisis Harga Satuan Pekerjaan, AHSP) and Regional Standard Unit Prices (Harga Satuan Pokok Kegiatan, HSPK), (3) preparing the Cost Budget Plan (Rencana Anggaran Biaya, RAB), and (4) calculating implementation time using the work coefficient method. Results: The results show that the RISHA method required a total cost of IDR 167,918,089.00 and an implementation duration of 56 working days, or 8 weeks. Meanwhile, the conventional method incurred a cost of IDR 172,562,093.00 and required 75 working days, or 11 weeks. Thus, RISHA construction provided cost savings of 2.69% and time efficiency of 25% compared with the conventional method. Although the cost of the RISHA superstructure was higher due to the use of precast components, significant savings in foundation and wall work, along with an accelerated construction timeline, made RISHA a more efficient overall alternative. Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that the RISHA method offers advantages in cost and time efficiency for constructing a simple Type 36 house in the context of this study.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pondasi merupakan bangunan utama suatu konstruksi yang harus dirancang lebih kokoh, agar dapat mendukung beban superstrukstur. Kapasitas dukung tanah dapat ditentukan dengan cermat berdasarkan hasil uji data pengujian lapangan, berupa CPT dan SPT. Perencanaan tipe pondasi harus disesuaikan dengan pembebanan, perilaku lapisan tanah, dan jenis pembebanan yang bekerja. Hasil uji ini dikorelasikan dengan persamaan empiris (persamaan Schmertmann, 1978), sehingga dapat diperoleh nilai kapasitas dukung ujung ultimateqbu yang bekerja pada ujung tiang. Hasil hitungan kapasitas dukung pondasi qu lokasi Bandara Sultan Babullah Kota Ternate mengacu pada persamaan Schmertmann (1978), masing-masing lajur memanjang dan bujur sangkar sebesar 16,474 kg/cm2 dan 28,051 kg/cm2. Hasil hitungan data pemeriksaan CPT untuk qc1 mengacu pada L + 0,7B sampai L + 4B dan qc2 dengan L sampai L – 8B yang variasi nilai qbu dipengaruhi oleh kedalaman tanah keras/panjang tiang pancang rencana.
