Abstract

Organic dyes can be dissolved in the gelation of water in oil (w/o) microemulsion of the system of water (pH=4,5 and pH=9,5), nonionic surfactan tween 60 and cyclohexane. The purpose of this study was to prepare microemulsion gels using the sol-gel method, determine the solubility of organic dyes (turmeric and telang flower) in gelation, determine the value of density, refractive index of organic dyes in gelation microemultion (w/o) of the system of water, nonionic surfactan tween 60 and cyclohexane. Gel preparation was carried out using the sol-gel method at a temperature low using TEOS and ethanol which is hidrolyzed with water to form gel. Tetra ethyl ortho silicate which is added 1: 8 mol comparison to the amount of water in microemilsion of water in oil. Determination of value of the refractive index in this study using an ABBE refractometer. The result showed that the solubility of dye organic matter from turmeric and telang flower was 1,376% and 0,498% at pH 4,5 and 1,292% and 0,468% at pH 9,5. The density can be seen by the density test with the result of greatest density density is tumeric 0,87744 g/cm3 at pH 4,5 and 0,86836 g/cm3 at pH 9,5. Then measure the refractive index value, namely turmeric 1,4154 at pH 4,5 and 1,4274 at pH 9,5.

Abstract

Career planning in junior high school students is usually related to further education planning. further education planning for grade IX students is to help them prepare for further education and be able to make further education choices that match their potential. Although further education planning is important, some students still face various problems related to further education planning. This study aims to analyze the importance of developing a career guidance module that can help junior high school students' further education planning. This research method uses literature study research. The results showed that it is important to develop a module based on the "Guidelines for career guidance services for guidance and counseling teachers/counselors in primary and secondary education units by the ILO (international labor organization). Based on this guide, it is important to develop material that is needed by students but has not been explained in the guide, condense the material and of course use explanations that are easily understood by students in grade IX junior high school or equivalent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan rias wajah sehari-hari terhadap kepercayaan diri.  Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi di Fakultas Pariwisata dan perhotelan berjumlah 454 orang. Mengingat besarnya populasi maka penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling, sehingga sampel yang dianggap mewakili populasinya, yaitu mahasiswi yang menggunakan rias wajah sehari-hari di Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan berjumlah 109 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dengan skala likert yang berjumlah pernyataan sebanyak 50 item. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase dengan menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan rias wajah sehari-hari mahasiswi di Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang termasuk kategori “sedang” dengan persentase 74%, sedangkan kepercayaan diri mahasiswi di Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang termasuk kategori “sedang” dengan persentase 72%. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, koefisien regresi bernilai positif yaitu menunjukkan pengaruh searah dan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar (6,707 > 1,659) yaitu menunjukkan variabel penggunaan makeup berpengaruh terhadap variabel kepercayaan diri. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan wawasan serta ilmu pengetahuan mengenai pengaruh penggunaan rias wajah sehari-hari terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswi di Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang. Kata kunci: Rias Wajah Sehari-Hari, Kepercayaan Diri

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas representasi ketimpangan sosial dan peran guru dalam film Laskar Pelangi (2008) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui metode analisis isi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memahami bagaimana media film merefleksikan realitas sosial, khususnya terkait pendidikan di daerah terpencil. Film Laskar Pelangi, yang diadaptasi dari novel Andrea Hirata dan disutradarai Riri Riza, dipilih karena menggambarkan perjuangan anak-anak dari keluarga miskin untuk mendapatkan pendidikan, serta pengabdian guru dalam kondisi terbatas. Data diperoleh dari observasi adegan, dialog, latar, dan simbol visual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa film ini secara jelas merepresentasikan ketimpangan pendidikan, seperti perbedaan fasilitas belajar, akses pendidikan, dan kondisi sekolah antara SD Muhammadiyah Gantong dan SD PN Timah. Film ini juga menyoroti peran guru sebagai agen perubahan. Tokoh Bu Muslimah dan Pak Harfan digambarkan tidak hanya sebagai pengajar, tetapi juga sebagai pendidik sejati yang membentuk karakter, semangat, dan harapan murid-muridnya. Dengan demikian, film Laskar Pelangi tidak hanya menyampaikan kisah inspiratif, tetapi juga menyajikan kritik sosial terhadap realitas ketimpangan pendidikan di Indonesia. Meskipun digambarkan dalam keterbatasan, pendidikan tetap ditampilkan sebagai harapan masa depan. Film ini memperlihatkan bahwa dengan semangat dan dedikasi guru, pendidikan dapat menjadi sarana penting untuk mengangkat derajat kehidupan masyarakat di daerah terpencil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya menguji keberhasilan penggunaan media gambar seri berbasis tiga dimensi (3D) sebagai sarana pengembangan kemampuan bercerita bagi peserta didik berusia 5 hingga 6 tahun di TK Aisyiyah 29 Kota Padang. Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui rancangan quasi-eksperimen dengan subjek penelitian dipisahkan ke dalam dua kelompok yang mendapat perlakuan berbeda, yakni kelas eksperimen yang diberi intervensi melalui penggunaan rangkaian gambar tiga dimensi, sedangkan kelompok lainnya bertindak sebagai kelas pembanding yang melaksanakan kegiatan belajar menggunakan sarana buku cerita yang dilengkapi ilustrasi. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 28 anak, ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tahapan observasi menggunakan Instrumen data telah melalui tahapan pengujian keabsahan serta konsistensi (Cronbach Alpha 0,937). Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat statistik, independent sample t-test, serta perhitungan effect size Cohen’s d. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kemampuan bercerita yang bermakna di antara kedua kelompok (p-value 0,008 < 0,05) yang mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan media tersebut memberi dampak kuat terhadap kemampuan bercerita anak. Temuan tersebut mengarah pada kesimpulan bahwa media gambar seri 3D mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang konkret, menarik, interaktif, serta efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bercerita peserta didik.
