Abstract

Based on BPS data, the number of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia is 64.2 million, or 99.99% of the total number of business actors in Indonesia. SMEs also make a significant contribution to the contribution of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), employment, and the contribution of exports in Indonesia. However, SMEs have structural problems related to the quality and continuity of production, access to marketing and product packaging, as well as the quality of human resources SMEs in the managerial, financial, and production fields. Therefore, as an effort to increase the competence of SMEs, Universitas Padjadjaran organized a Community Service (PPM) program which was integrated with Student Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities namely digital-based marketing and accounting training webinars.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat terutama ibu rumah tangga dalam menanggulangi rasa bosan saat di rumah saja. Pada masa pandemi ini menjaga rasa bosan merupakan salah satu hal yang penting untuk dilakukan. Bercocok tanam merupakan salah satu alternatif kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan oleh masyarakat dalam menanggulangi rasa bosan saat di rumah saja. Maka dari itu dalam upaya menanggulangi rasa bosan dimasa pandemi Covid-19 kelompok kami mensosialisasikan tata cara menanam dan merawat tanaman hias daun dengan baik. Dalam laporan ini, dituliskan secara terperinci mengenai tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta tindak lanjut kegiatan penyuluhan. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan mengunggah video ke dalam platform YouTube. Kegiatan sosialisasi berjalan dengan lancar dan para masyarakat Kota Cimahi memiliki antusias yang cukup tinggi dalam memahami maksud dari isi video, dapat dilihat dari skor kuisioner. Seletah kegiatan sosialisasi selesai, tim penyusun kegiatan KKN-PPM memberikan apresiasi kepada masyarakat yang memiliki skor tertinggi dengan memberikan bibit tanaman hias daun, dengan harapan dapat merawat tanaman terseebut sesuai dengan yang terkandung dalam video.

Abstract

Education significantly contributes to the quality of human resources in a country. However, Indonesia currently faces educational challenges, with uneven quality and quantity across institutions. Therefore, strategic planning is crucial to enhance education quality at all levels. This study aims to formulate strategies for improving the management of Yayasan Sosial dan Pendidikan Bina Muda Cicalengka. Employing a qualitative and quantitative approach, the research utilizes SWOT and QSPM methods. The findings yield eight consecutive alternative strategies: 1) Developing collaborations and partnerships to enhance internal quality and funding sources, 2) Improving the competence and qualifications of human resources according to national standards, 3) Establishing policies and technical standards for educational management through an integrated information system 4) Enhancing motivation, discipline, and work ethic among human resources, 5) Optimizing information technology for monitoring educational institution performance, 6) Improving educational facilities, 7) Efficiently allocating budget plans, and 8) Enhancing socialization and promotion to boost the institution's reputation in the community. This study's limitation lies in its sole focus on enhancing organizational capacity from an internal perspective. Therefore, future research could delve into external aspects or a combination of both and utilize the Five Forces Porter's analysis method as its analytical tool.

Abstract

An Integrated Information System based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has become a tool that can be utilized to enhance the quality of organizational resource management, ensuring greater efficiency in achieving an organization's objectives. This research aims to analyze the technical planning aspects in the implementation plan of an ERP system within an educational foundation. The research employs a qualitative descriptive through interview techniques. The findings of this research indicate that the Bina Muda Foundation needs to prepare Hardware, Procedures, Policies, and People components among the eight main components required. The foundation's implementation plan for the new ERP can be outlined up to the fourth stage out of the ten stages, encompassing the analysis of needs, planning, ERP vendor selection, as well as configuration and adjustment. The benefits derived from the use of ERP include 1) enhancing foundation management governance, 2) expanding service sectors, 3) improving the school's image and community performance index, and 4) enhancing service quality in the education industry competition.
