Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan  peningkatanhasil belajar dengan menggunakan  model pembelajaran ATI pada matakuliahGeometri Euclid non Euclid. Penelitian ini lebih menekankan kepada pemberianperlakuan (treatment) yang berbeda dalam pembelajarannya, sesuai dengankarakteristik masing-masing kelompok mahasiswa (tinggi, sedang dan rendah)sehingga dengan cara demikian diharapkan tercipta optimalisasi hasil belajar. Halini didasari bahwa optimalisasi hasil belajar dapat dicapai melalui penyesuaianantara pembelajaran (treatment) dengan perbedaan kemampuan (aptitude)mahasiswa. Perlakuan yang dilakukan pada kelompok berkemampuan tinggi adalahpembelajaran self learning  dengan menggunakan modul, sedangkan pada kelompoksedang dan rendah diberlakukan pembelajaran regular atau  konvensional. Hasilpenelitian sebelum pemberian tindakan diperoleh nilai rata-rata mahasiswa sebesar32 dengan ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 15%. Setelah pemberian tindakanpengajaran dengan model pembelajaran ATI diperoleh rata-rata tes hasil belajarsiklus I mencapai 59,5 dengan tingkat ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 42,5%.Karena hasil yang diperoleh untuk pembelajaran secara klasikal belum memenuhinilai ketuntasan, maka dilanjutkan pada siklus II dengan memperbaiki pembelajaransesuai hasil refleksi. Nilai rata-rata pada tes hasil belajar II mencapai 74,25 dengantingkat ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 85%. Ini berarti menujukkan bahwamodel pembelajaran ATI dapat mengatasi kesulitan belajar mahasiswa sekaligusdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menarik minat siswa kelas XII MIA 5 SMA Negeri 8 Medan dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui PBL. Variabel minat belajar diperiksa perubahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah sebagai variabel tindakan. Contoh: penelitian tindakan kelas. Angka dan hasil belajar siswa dikumpulkan. Nilai rata-rata minat belajar siklus I sampai siklus II adalah 82,28. Hal ini meningkat dari 17% pra siklus menjadi 80% siklus II. Model PBL meningkatkan siklus I 60% menjadi siklus II 80%. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah meningkatkan perhatian (PBL) kelas XII MIA 5 SMA Negeri 8 Medan.

Abstract

Based on the results of the needs analysis in the learning process, a development of learning media is needed. This research aims to create this product to be more valid, practical and effective in improving students' mathematical understanding. This research and development uses the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) development model. The subjects of this research were 30 students of class X Science 1 at SMA Methodist 7 Medan. The research results show that the Android-based learning media developed has obtained a very high level of validity, with an average percentage of 90.38% according to material experts, 87.77% according to media experts, then 90.90% according to lesson plan validators and results. Validation from experts on pre-test and post-test questions showed a percentage of 92.70% and 91.67%, respectively included in the "very valid" criteria. Positive responses were also found from teachers and students during small group and large group trials, with an average score of 96% from teachers, 94.4% from small groups, and 90.2% from large groups. This shows that this media is very practical to use in the learning process. Apart from that, the results of implementing this interactive learning media also show its effectiveness with the average percentage of responses to the effectiveness of learning media by students obtained at 92.23%. The classical learning completion level reached 96.67%, and the effectiveness questionnaire obtained an average percentage of 86.67%. The increase in students' mathematical understanding can be categorized as moderate improvement. Based on this research data, it can be concluded that the Android-based learning media that we have developed has met the criteria of being valid, practical and effective in improving students' mathematical understanding.

Abstract

Low motivation to learn is often a serious challenge in one's academic development. Excessive use of social media can have both positive and negative impacts on learning motivation, depending on the usage policy. This study aims to analyze the magnitude of the relationship between the use of social media and the motivation to learn mathematics of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample consisted of 58 grade VIII students who were given video supplements related to learning materials at school through TikTok before formal learning was carried out. Based on the data analysis used using the Spearman correlation, the correlation coefficient value is + 0.744, it can be seen that the motivation to learn mathematics with the use of social media has a unidirectional relationship. This shows that if there is an increase in the value of using social media in learning, the value of math learning motivation will also increase linearly. By treating relevant learning videos through TikTok social media before learning takes place, educators are able to create a more interesting and intimate learning experience to increase student motivation in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Students' understanding of the subject matter has a great influence on achieving the learning objectives especially in mathematical learning because students' critical thinking skills can be enhanced by learning mathematics using an inquiry-based learning model. The reasons for the improvement of students' critical thinking skills towards learning mathematics and can be called mathematical problem solving abilities are taken from the learning objectives listed in Permendiknas No. 22 Year 2006, in which the importance of this variable of mathematic problem-solving ability to each student is listed. This research uses qualitative research methods with facts found in the field. The data collection technique used is to give a description test to a high school student. The research population is the entire students of the eighth grade of 26 private high school students Jambi Medan. As a result of the application of the learning inquiry model in the private high school in Jambi Medan, students can respond well so that students are more active in the learning process. This study shows that the use of the Inquiry Based Learning learning model has an impact on the mathematical learning outcomes of students in high school.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of producing digital learning media using the Smart Apps Creator through a Realistic Mathematics Education approach that is valid, effective, and able to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. From the research results, it was obtained that the media and material validity values were 93.6% and 93% with very valid categories. The practicality of the media through the results of the teacher's response questionnaire obtained a practicality value of 97.3% in the very practical category and the results of the student response questionnaire for the small group test and large group test obtained values of 90.9% and 91.4% in the very practical category. Then the value of effectiveness is seen through the mastery of classical learning and the results of the student response questionnaire obtained percentages of 87.5% and 94.05% with very effective categories. Improving problem solving abilities in students, the results obtained are that the level of students' problem solving abilities is at a percentage of 92% with a very high category, while based on the N-Gain test the average value obtained by students is 0.6473 which means there is an increase in problem solving abilities in students medium category. So based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the learning media developed in this study are valid, practical, effective, and able to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan merupakan kondisi di mana setiap orang memiliki akses terhadap pangan yang cukup, aman, dan bergizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aplikasi dan penerapan matematika, khususnya fungsi penawaran dan permintaan, dalam konteks ketahanan pangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif eksploratif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui studi literatur. Fungsi permintaan pangan menggambarkan hubungan antara jumlah pangan yang diminta dengan faktor-faktor seperti harga, pendapatan, selera, dan jumlah populasi. Sementara fungsi penawaran pangan menggambarkan hubungan antara jumlah pangan yang diproduksi dengan faktor-faktor seperti harga, biaya produksi, teknologi pertanian, dan kondisi geografis. Keseimbangan pasar terjadi ketika jumlah pangan yang ditawarkan sama dengan jumlah pangan yang diminta. Perubahan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penawaran dan permintaan akan berdampak pada ketahanan pangan. Pemerintah memiliki peran penting melalui kebijakan produksi pangan, harga dan pasar, distribusi, pendapatan dan perlindungan sosial, lingkungan dan perubahan iklim, serta koordinasi dan kemitraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman terhadap fungsi permintaan dan penawaran pangan serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dapat membantu dalam merancang strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Technological developments play a very important role and contribute to the direction of development in the world of education. In the history of educational development, information technology is part of the media used to convey scientific messages to many people. One of the internet users provided by schools is that the internet will become part of a teaching and learning process. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a library study approach, which is used to search and collect relevant information and data from various books, journal articles and internet media relating to the influence of Internet use on student learning outcomes. The number of internet users in Indonesia reached 213 million people, or 77% of Indonesia's total population, which amounted to 276.4 million people at the beginning of the year. The number of internet users in the country increased 5.44% year on year. The number of Indonesian internet users will only reach 202 million in January 2022. It is hoped that the development of the internet in the teaching and learning process can stimulate students' interest in learning and encourage students to participate in the teaching and learning process. By developing creative and innovative learning and utilizing existing technology, it is an effort to create and foster interest in learning and attract students' attention in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan konektivitas internet semakin hari semakin meningkat, kebutuhan masyarakat akan informasi dan komunikasi melalui internet juga semakin meningkat. Pengguna internet tidak hanya berasal dari kalangan dewasa saja, namun juga tersebar di semua golongan umur, mulai dari masyarakat yang tinggal di perkotaan hingga masyarakat yang tinggal di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner dalam bentuk Google Form yang melibatkan mahasiswa PPKn Kelas C Universitas Negeri Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan paket internet dari Telkomsel dapat menjadi pilihan yang tepat bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of the existence of zoned schools on equal access to education in Malang district. The problems in this research are the pros and cons of school principals, teachers, parents and students regarding the school zoning system in Malang district. Based on research conducted by researchers, many school principals, teachers, parents and students do not agree with the existence of a school zoning system. Because students who excel and are competent do not get favorite schools to support their long-term careers. On the other hand, from the teacher side, teachers are very depressed and stressed because they find so few talented and high-quality students in the learning process at school. This research uses qualitative methods in the form of interviews with school principals, teachers, parents and students in the school environment. The research results prove that in the absence of an educational zoning system in Indonesia, you will find many students who excel and excel in elementary, middle and high school. Because with the student zoning system there tends to be no competition between students and other students. However, this has led to a decline in the quality of education in Indonesia through the school zoning system.
