Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the intensification of rainfed lowland rice on rainfed lowland rice production in Martapura Sub-District, East OKU Regency. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the rainfed lowland rice intensification program in Martapura Sub-District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency affected lowland rice production both partially and simultaneously. Variables use of high-yielding seeds (X1), use of dolomite (X2), use of urea fertilizer (X3), use of NPK fertilizer (X4), use of liquid organic fertilizer (X5), use of pesticides (X6) and labor (X7) have a positive effect and significant effect on lowland rice production in Martapura District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The variable that has the most influence on lowland rice production in Martapura Sub-District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, is the use of superior seeds with a standard value of the partial regression coefficient (beta coefficient) of 3.099.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training and empowerment on the performance of assistant officers for improving the agricultural economy at the Agricultural Extension Training Center (BPPP) of South Sumatra Province in East OKU Regency, either partially or simultaneously. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that this research empirically proves that training and empowerment have a significant effect on the performance of Agricultural Economic Improvement Assistance Officers at the Agricultural Extension Training Center (BPPP). South Sumatra in East OKU Regency. The magnitude of the influence of training and empowerment on the performance of Agricultural Economic Improvement Assistance Officers is 87.5%, while other variables determine the remaining 12.5%. Training and empowerment policies significantly affect the performance of Agricultural Economic Improvement Assistance Officers because good performance greatly supports increased agricultural production and productivity, specifically in the District. East OKU and, in general, in the province of South Sumatra.

Abstract

AbstractThe role of MSMEs is very large in the Indonesian economy, the contribution of MSMEs is 97% of the workforce and 61.9% of the contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, MSMEs in Indonesia still faces several challenges to developing and improving their business. The Indonesian government implemented stimulus in dealing with and controlling the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and was effective when compared to other countries. In 2021, Indonesia's real GDP index has reached pre-pandemic conditions at the level of 101.5, while neighboring countries namely Malaysia are at the level of 96.4, the Philippines are at the level of 95.5 and Thailand is still at the level of 94.4. The purpose of this research is to design a Business Incubator Platform in an effort to increase the competency of MSME players through a business incubator. If the competence of MSME players matches current needs, it is hoped that Indonesian MSMEs will be able to compete and improve the Indonesian economy. The method used in this study is the Waterfall Model. While the stages carried out in this method are the stages of system requirements analysis, design, implementation, and system maintenance. While system testing uses the Black Box testing model which focuses on system functionality. The result of this research is an Incubator Platform that can be used by MSME players to improve their business competence. To join this platform, UMKM players register through the platform, after being verified by the admin team, MSME players can use the features that have been provided.

Abstract

This study aims to examine internal and external elements in the development of Culinary MSMEs in Baturaja City, OKU Regency, to define the Culinary MSMEs' development plan to improve economic growth in Baturaja City, OKU Regency. This study employed the survey method of research. A SWOT analysis was utilized to analyze the data in this investigation. The study's findings reveal various internal and external aspects. Internal factors include strength, consumer service, promotional media, raw material availability, and labor. Weaknesses include a lack of ability to innovate products, a scarcity of development money, difficulties obtaining raw materials, and technological limits in manufacturing. In the meanwhile, external forces present opportunities: the consumer. According to the findings of the study, the development strategies used to develop culinary MSMEs in Baturaja City, OKU Regency are the SO Strategy (difference and development of quality-oriented products and the development of marketing or promotional strategies), the WO Strategy (development of more varied product designs and the development of production processes with the revitalization of more modern machines and equipment), and ST Strategy (a highly competitive product development with a characteristic load local, Credit policy with cheaper interest and simpler process and improvement of the quality of physical infrastructure as well), WT Strategy (Development of promotion to the market with more sophisticated media and Increased role of external institutions, associations of large entrepreneurs in the development of MSME businesses)
