Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of product, price, distribution channel and promotion on competitive advantage in small and medium enterprises in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The research design was a survey research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research were small and medium enterprises in OKU Regency which are 270 people. The samples used in this study used Slovin formula. the number of samples used in this research were 73 people. The analytical method used is multiple linier regression. The conclusion of this research shows that the variables of product quality, price, distribution channel and promotion have a positive influence on the competitive advantage of small and medium enterprises in OKU Regency. The implication of this research for the company by using marketing strategy can increase competitive advantage.  Whereas for The government this research  can improve the economy and also reduce the unemployment rate.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of marketing mix (products, pries, distribution channels, promotions) and market orientation on competitive advantage of franchising (Alfamart and Indomaret) in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Research methodology: This study was survey research with a quantitative approach. The populations in this study were the Alfamart and Indomaret franchise businesses in OKU Regency. The analytical method used was multiple regression. Results: This study indicates that product, price, promotion, and market orientation variables have a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantage of franchising in OKU Regency, while the distribution channel variables have an insignificant effect Limitations: This research focuses on product, price, distribution channels, promotion and market orientation as independent variables; and the competitive advantage as dependent variable. Contribution: This research explains the competitive strategies that a business must have and also the implications of marketing management theory. Abstract

The Influence of Leadership, Compensation and Work Placement on Employees’ Performance at PT. Bakti Nugraha Yuda (Energy) PLTU Baturaja. This study aims to determine the influence of leadership, compensation and work placement on employees’ performance at PT. Bakti Nugraha Yuda (Energy) PLTU Baturaja. In conducting the analysis, multiple linear regression was used. Based on data analysis and partial discussion, Leadership (X1) has an influence on Employees’ Performance (Y), with the results of T count (9,525) > T table (2,003), Compensation (X2) has an influence on Employees’ Performance (Y), with the result –T count (-4.108 ) < -Table (-2.003), and Job Placement (X3) have an influence on employees’ performance (Y), with the result of T count (4.745)> T table (2.003). And simultaneously Leadership, Compensation, and Work Placement have an influence on Employees’ Performance at PT. Bakti Nugraha Yuda (Energy) PLTU Baturaja, with the results F count (50,419)> F table (2.77). The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.715. This shows that the influence of leadership, compensation and work placement on employees’ performance at PT. Bakti Nugraha Yuda (Energy) PLTU Baturaja, amounting to 71.5% while the remaining 28.5% is influenced by other variables that are not explained in this study.

Abstract

This study discusses the relationship between leadership style, work stress and employees’ engagement on employees’ performance at the Fire and Rescue Service Oku District. The total population in this study were 43 people. The analytical method used is quantitative method using Multiple Linear Correlation analysis tool. In this study between leadership style (X1), work stress (X2) has a relationship with employees’ performance (Y) with a calculated F value (173.154) > F-table (3.24), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, this means that the variables of Leadership Style, Work Stress and Employees’ Engagement together are significantly related to Employees’ Performance at the Fire and Rescue Service Oku District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence farmers' decisions in participating in rice farming insurance in Buay Madang Timur Sub-District. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the factors of farming experience, owned land area, number of family members, age of farmers, level of education, role of extension workers, income of rice farming businesses, success of claims, difficulty of registration and claims had a significant effect on farmers' decisions in participating in the Rice Farming Insurance(RFI) program in Buay Madang Timur Sub-District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. The factor that most influences farmers' decisions in participating in the Rice Farm Insurance (RFI) program is the role of extension workers with a standard value of the partial regression coefficient of 6,049.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the intensification of rainfed lowland rice on rainfed lowland rice production in Martapura Sub-District, East OKU Regency. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the rainfed lowland rice intensification program in Martapura Sub-District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency affected lowland rice production both partially and simultaneously. Variables use of high-yielding seeds (X1), use of dolomite (X2), use of urea fertilizer (X3), use of NPK fertilizer (X4), use of liquid organic fertilizer (X5), use of pesticides (X6) and labor (X7) have a positive effect and significant effect on lowland rice production in Martapura District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The variable that has the most influence on lowland rice production in Martapura Sub-District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, is the use of superior seeds with a standard value of the partial regression coefficient (beta coefficient) of 3.099.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training and empowerment on the performance of assistant officers for improving the agricultural economy at the Agricultural Extension Training Center (BPPP) of South Sumatra Province in East OKU Regency, either partially or simultaneously. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis is multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that this research empirically proves that training and empowerment have a significant effect on the performance of Agricultural Economic Improvement Assistance Officers at the Agricultural Extension Training Center (BPPP). South Sumatra in East OKU Regency. The magnitude of the influence of training and empowerment on the performance of Agricultural Economic Improvement Assistance Officers is 87.5%, while other variables determine the remaining 12.5%. Training and empowerment policies significantly affect the performance of Agricultural Economic Improvement Assistance Officers because good performance greatly supports increased agricultural production and productivity, specifically in the District. East OKU and, in general, in the province of South Sumatra.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan yang menjadi masalah pada PT. Fastrata Buana di Baturaja yaitu dalam melaksanakan kegiatan penjualan produk yang dilakukan oleh karyawan perusahaan kepada pelanggan tidak sesuai target yang ditetapkan sehingga berdampak pada kinerja karyawan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor individu dan pekerjaan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Fastrata Buana di Baturaja. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu korelasi spearman rank dengan populasi sebanyak 30 karyawan PT. Fastrata Buana di Baturaja. Temuan penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh signifikan antara faktor individu dan pekerjaan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership style on the performance of State High School teachers in East Baturaja District; and explore the influence of work motivation on the performance of State High School teachers in East Baturaja sub-district. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 OKU, SMA Negeri 4 OKU, and SMA Negeri 5 OKU. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive method with total sampling data collection with the samples taken in this research being all ASN teachers in three schools, namely 104 teachers. As for each school: SMA Negeri 1 has 41 teachers, SMA Negeri 4 has 32 teachers and SMA Negeri 5 has 31 teachers. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results of the research found that the principal's leadership style (X1) influences the performance of teachers (Y) of state high schools in East Baturaja District, with a percentage of 55.5% (correlation table). There is an influence of Work Motivation (X2) on teacher performance (Y) Public High School in East Baturaja District, with a percentage of 52.8% (correlation table). The results of the f test (simultaneous) show that the variables Principal Leadership Style (X1), and Work Motivation (X2) influence teacher performance (Y) State High School in East Baturaja District, The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained were 0.382, this shows that the contribution of the influence of the principal's leadership style and work motivation to teacher performance was 38.2% while the remaining 61.8% was influenced by other external variables. This research is about understanding insight, fulfilling needs, and differences, and achieving values. In conclusion, there is a significant influence between leadership style and work motivation on teacher performance. Keywords: Motivation, Principal Leadership Style, Teacher Performance
