Abstract

The immunization activities conducted every month, while the problem is the implementation of immunitation in the social health centers of Tolangohula has not been achieved with UCI (Universal Child  immunization). The  purpose  of  the  this    research  was  to  determinate the  relationship of immunization and air pollution with the incedence of ISPA to baby in the social health centers of Tolangohula.The analiyze of the data that used in this research is the analiysis of univariate anad analiysis of bivariate. Based on the results of this research concluded that (a) the immunization status and air pollution related with the incidence of ISPA to baby in the social health centers of Tolangohula. (b) has a relationship of significant between  immunization status and air pollution with incidence of ISPA to baby in the social health centers of Tolangohula.

Abstract

Smoking is one problem that is difficult to solve. So that smoking should be treated as an effort as early as possible by providing health information. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving health information on adolescent knowledge about the dangers of smoking. The design of this study uses quasy experiments pre-test post with the design of the Two Group pre-test post. The population in this study is amounted to 87 students and a sample of 32 respondents with random sampling and data analysis using paired t-test. The results showed that the experimental group was 0.001 (p <0.05) and the control group was 0.164 (p <0.05). In conclusion, there is influence of health information on adolescent knowledge in MAN 1 Pohuwato.

Abstract

The decrease in physical function has an impact on psychosocial disorders in the elderly, this can be overcome by increasing family support. The purpose of this researcy is to determine the correlation of decreased physical function and family support with psychosocial disorders in the elderly. This research method uses survey-analytic with cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all the elderly who lived in the Piloloda Village with a sample of 55 elderly and the sampling technique used purposive sampling and analyzed with the chi square test. The results indicates that the majority of the elderly's physical function decreased by 69.1%, 80% less family support, and 76.4% less psychosocial disorders with a significant p = 0,000 <α = 0.05. it is concluded that there is a correlation of decreased physical function with psychosocial disorders in the elderly and there is a correlation of family support with psychosocial disorders in the elderly.

Abstract

The study is used survey Analytical method and cross sectional approach. The population is the children aged 2-5 years old who are in the working area of momalia health centers. Technique of sampling is used accidental sampling, data collection is used quistionnaires while data analysis techniques used Chi-square. Results of research showed that 17 children (57%) had diarrhea of 17 mothers who have poor knowledge about diarrhea. Moreover, as many two children (6,0%) had diarrhea of 13 mothers who have a good knowledge about calculation statistical test of diarrhea with chi-square got p value =0,000 which means Ha failed rejected.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil Survey Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2010 menyatakan bahwa partisipasi pria dalam KB sebagai akseptor hanya 4,4%. BKKBN Provinsi Gorontalo tahun 2012 menyatatakan bahwa partisipasi suami dalam KB sebagai akseptor hanya 97 peserta dari 143,700 jiwa PUS, dan di Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara partisipasi pria dalam menggunakan kontrasepsi vasektomi hanya ada 42 peserta di tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional dengan metode penelitian survey. Tehnik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling dengan besar sampel adalah 165 responden. Analisa data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi square. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan  terhadap partisipasi suami dalam menggunakan kontrasepsi vasektomi (p-value 0,001), dengan partisipasi pria dalam KB. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap  terhadap partisipasi suami dalam menggunakan kontrasepsi vasektomi (p-value 0,035), Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara akses pelayanan terhadap partisipasi suami dalam menggunakan kontrasepsi vasektomi (p-value 0,011). dari ketiga variabel yang diteliti, ketiga variabel tersebut berhubungan dengan partisipasi suami dalam menggunakan kontrasepsi vasektomi. Adapun ketiga variabel yaitu faktor pengetahuan, faktor sikap dan faktor akses pelayanan.

Abstract

Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) is a health service strategy aimed at reducing mortality and morbidity. This research was conducted at Health Center Kota Gorontalo. The purpose of this study To determine the implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) at the Health Center of Gorontalo City. This research method is a qualitative approach that aims to know clearly and more deeply about the application of IMCI in Health Center in Gorontalo City. The results showed that viewed from human resources, all Health Center already have officer of IMCI even in all Health Center besides in charge of IMCI there are also other officers who have been trained. Of 10 health centers, 6 health centers have implemented IMCI, 3 Health Center have not implemented IMCI, and there is 1 Health Center implementing IMCI to some babies. Then 3 Health Center that do not have IMCI form, 4 Health Center do not have IMCI clinics, 2 Health Center which do not have mother's advice card and 4 Health Center which do not have budget for IMCI.
