<![CDATA[Abstrak:Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini kerena ditemukannya problematika pada pembelajaran membaca teks drama. Masalah pada penelitian ini tentang peningkatan keterampilan membaca teks drama menggunakan metode Jigsaw pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan pada keterampilan membaca teks drama menggunakan metode Jigsaw di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai KakapTahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dan prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan peneltian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan proses pembelajaran serta hasil pembelajaran membaca menggunakan metode Jigsaw. Hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran membaca teks drama siswa meningkat pada tiap siklus. Siklus pertama rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa 65,81 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 33,3 %. Siklus kedua rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa adalah 75,46 atau meningkat sebanyak 9,65 angka dari siklus sebelumnya. Â Kata Kunci: Membaca Teks Drama, Metode Jigsaw Abstract:This research is based on the findings of the problem in learning process of drama text reading. The problems of this research is the implementation in order to improve the reading skill by using Jigsaw method to the students of 7th year grade in SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap in academic year 2015/2016. The achievement of this research are to describe enhancement from implementation to the reading skill by using Jigsaw method to the students of 7th year grade in SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap in academic year 2015/2016. The method of this research is using descriptive method and the procedure of this research is using Classroom Action Research (CAR) that is conducted in two cycles. The data of this research is the process of learning and also the result of reading by using jigsaw method. The result of data analysis, it can be concluded that the learning process of students reading in drama text improves in every cycles. In the first cycle, the students average score is 65,81 with the percentage of passed score is 33,3%.
