Abstract

Today the need for transportation is greatly improved both land, sea and air transportation, this triggers the development of transportation to increase significantly from year to year to meet the needs of the community. Air transportation is one of the most used transportation by the people in Indonesia, it is proven that in 2017 there are 109,000,000 people using airplanes, the increasing need for airplanes makes the aviation industry very fast growing, this is evidenced by data on the number of aircraft passengers in main airport on domestic flight departures (People). This study aims to determine the effect of brand experience and price on the decision to purchase Siriwijaya Air airline.. The type of research is explanatory research and sampling using nonprobability sampling techniques, acicidental sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews directly. The sample used was 102 respondents of Sriwijaya Air airline users. This study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficients, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression, significance of t test and f test. The results showed that the brand experience and price variables affected the decision to purchase Sriwijaya Air airline tickets. Brand exeperience correlation coefficient and price of purchasing decisions have a strong relationship. The brand experience variable coefficient of determination on the decision to purchase Sriwijaya Air tickets is 35.1% and the coefficient of determination of the price variable for the decision to purchase Sriwijaya Air tickets is 41.7%.

Abstract

Cosmetics as a beauty product is a product that is often purchased and selected by female consumers in particular. Cosmetic product is a unique product because besides this product has the ability to complete the basic needs (especially women) for beauty as well as a means for consumers to clarify their identities in society. One of the most popular cosmetics businesses among the society is The Body Shop brand. But The Body Shop has so far not received satisfactory results in its sales in Indonesia and has been outdone by its emerging competitors. Therefore, the effort to attract consumers to have high loyalty is an important thing for the existence of the company continues to awake. This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and product quality on customer loyalty products The Body Shop in Semarang city. This research is an explanatory research by using questionnaire as its instrument. The population and samples used are The Body Shop customers in Semarang City taken as many as 100 respondents by using purposive sampling method. Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that Brand Image and product quality influence on customer loyalty, evidenced through simple linear regression test with regression value that is equal to brand image of 0.480 and product quality of 0.491. The data analysis techniques are using correlation test, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test with the help of IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 23. The influence of brand image and product quality together affects customer loyalty by 39.7%. While the remaining 60.3% influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the research, the author can provide advices to The Body Shop in order to maintain the image of natural products that have been attached to the brand, and continue to improve the quality of its products both in terms of packaging and raw materials used.

Abstract

Online Travel Agent (OTA) is a travel agent with sales based on online or through a website provided by the company to be able to meet the needs of consumers. Traveloka.com is one of the Indonesian companies engaged in OTA. Traveloka.com also received the award from BrandZ and The Most Innovative Brand in 2017. This study aims to determine the effect of e-service quality and brand trust on the purchasing decision of Traveloka.com. This research’s type is explanatory research and the sampling method use nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling methods.Data collection uses google form. The samples are 100 respondents using Traveloka.com services in Semarang City. This research uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple and multiple regression, the significance of t and F test. The result shows that e-service quality and brand trust variables influence Traveloka.com’s purchasing decisions. The correlation coefficient of e-service quality and brand trust variables on purchasing decisions have a strong effect. The determination coefficient of the e-service quality variable on Traveloka.com’s purchasing decisions is 36,3 percents and the determination coefficient of the brand trust variable on Traveloka.com’s Purchasing decision is 37,5 percents.

Abstract

Bread is one of the sources of carbohydrates beside rice. Currently, the function of bread is not only eaten for breakfast but also for lunch and dinner because bread is simple food to eat for consumers with multitask activity. Sari Roti product which has variety of bread such as white bread, sweet bread, sandwich, and dorayaki produced by PT. Nippon Indosari,Tbk. This research aims to know the influence of Pice, and Product Quality towards Buying Decision of Product Sari Roti in Semarang. Sample in this research are 100 consumers who have purchased and consume product of Sari Roti. Data analysis that is used are correlation test, simple regression, multiple regression, and classic assumption proceed by SPSS Program. The result of this research shows that price and product quality positive influence towards buying decision partially and simultantly. The conclusion for this research is the better Product of Sari Roti price and product quality are, the higher buying decision that is done by the consumers of Product Sari Roti in Semarang.

Abstract

The research was motivated by of the many various alternative options for transportation services, especially land transportation. However, bus still be alternative options for most of Indonesian people as a means of drive. The purpose of this research was to determine the customer’s satisfaction level on the service quality and the price of PO. Sindoro Satriamas’s customer. The type of research used was descriptive analysis research. The population were all passengers of PO. Sindoro Satriamas with sample of as many as 100 respondents with sampling technique used was purposive sampling and accidental sampling. The analysis of data used in this research was the Importance and Performance Analysis. Based on the Importance and Performance Analysis, then the conclusion that the average total for the service quality was 82,84% included in the satisfied category and the average total for the price was 80,17% included in the satisfied category too. Suggestions can be submitted to the company is improving the performance of quality service and price optimally so that created the suitability between the expectations of customers with the company's performance.

Abstract

Cosmetics today have become a mandatory requirement for women to increase self-esteem. Wardah is one of Indonesia's local brands that has distribution centers not only in Indonesia, but also in Malaysia due to high consumer demand in several major cities. However, some of Wardah’s outlets in Semarang City have a decrease in number. This study aims to determine  the effect of  brand image and celebrity endorser on purchasing decisions of Wardah’s products. This type of research is explanatory research and sampling uses nonprobability sampling techniques, purposive sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires and google form. The sample is used amount 100 respondents using Wardah’s products in Semarang City. This study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficients, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression, significance of t test and F test. The results of the study show that the variables of brand image and celebrity endorser have an effect on purchasing decisions. The variable correlation coefficient of brand image and celebrity endorser on purchasing decisions has a strong enough relationship, The determination coefficient of brand image on purchasing decision variable is 27,5%, and the determination coefficient of the celebrity endorser variable on purchasing decisions is 20,9%,

Abstract

The number of internet users continues to increase, in order to access the internet users must subscribe to internet service providers, one of which is MNC Play Media. MNC Play Media Semarang experienced a decrease in the percentage of sales targets from 2015 - 2017 and never been nominated for the TBI award in the Fixed ISP category from 2014 - 2017. According to APJII the factors that influence ISP selection are service quality and price. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and price on purchasing decisions. The type of research is explanatory research and sampling using the nonprobability sampling technique purposive sampling method, collecting data using the google docs questionnaire. The number of samples used was 100 respondents from Semarang City. This study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis with validity, reliability, correlation coefficients, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression, significance of t test, and F test. The results of the study show that service quality and price variables have a strong and positive influence on purchasing decisions. Service quality and price variables show 0.651 that the relationship between the two variables to purchasing decisions has a strong relationship. The service quality variable in the determination test (R square) shows 35.7% influence purchasing decisions, so 64.3% is influenced by other factors. The price variable in the determination test (R square) shows that 23.6% affects purchasing decisions, so 76.4% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Organizational culture and work environment is a for factor the achievement of a good employee performance. PT. Warta media nusantara tribun jateng is a company engaged in the publication of the regional newspaper in the city of semarang with the aim of providing information to the public through the mass media. To improve the quality of human resources and the achievement of business objectives of the company, then an increase in employee performance can be done by strengthening the organizational culture and to build a good working environment.This research use eksplanatory research, the population used as samples by using the with amount of 71 employees in PT. Warta media nusantara tribun jateng. By using questionnaire and measurement scale likert technique as well as with the calculation of the correlation, simple and multiple regression using SPSS 20.0.This research concluded that the organizational culture and work environment affects employee performance, either partially or simultaneously. Variable organizational culture has a graeter influence than environment variables work. Suggestion for PT. Warta media Nusantara tribun jateng is preferably gatherings often do together and also conduct training, so that concern for a fellow employee can run well and be able to achive the objectives of the company. In addition it provides a more complete work equipment as well as adding an air conditioner in order to make workers more comfortable in this work.

Abstract

The development of capital market in a country has a major role in the economy including Indonesia such as the Islamic capital market. Some of the companies are count in the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) and one of them in the agricultural sector. Among the agricultural sector, the most sharia stock is owned by the plantation sub sector. The study aims to test with partial and simultaneous the influence of Current Ratio, Earning Per Share (EPS), Return On Equity (ROE), and Return On Total Assets (ROA) against stock prices. This research use secondary data from annual report who has publies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population of this research has eight companies. Analytical techniques use simple and multiple linear regressions. The research indicates that partial variable Earning Per Share (EPS) and Return On Total Assets (ROA) had a significant effect against stock prices, while Current Ratio and Return On Equity (ROE) had no significant against stock prices. Simultaneously variable Current Ratio, Earning Per Share (EPS), Return On Equity (ROE), and Return On Total Assets (ROA) had a significant effect against stock price.

Abstract

Every corporate needs resources that have an mportant influence to achieve corporate’s goal. Human resource management have a role in improving employee performance through the variables that affect itself, including leadership and OHS (Occupational Safety and Health). Based on the problem in this research, that is the decrease of employee performance of PT PLN (PERSERO) Technical Department of Kramat Jati Area in 2014 – 2016 in travo disturbance and electrical leakage that occurred. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of leadership and OHS (Occupational Safety and Health).  The type of this research is explanatory research with 44 respondents in PT PLN (PERSERO) Technical department of kramat jati area as the population. The technique of sampling using saturation sampling. Using questionnaires as data collecting technique. The data analysis conducted quantitatively with SPSS.  This research conclude that leadership and occupational safety and health have postive effect on employee performance. OHS (Occupational safety and health) variable has bigger effect than leadership variable. Based to the research result, the researcher suggest that the company to pay attention of work enviroment which the work enviroment in techincal department needs collaboration for the employee to finish their job.
