Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the promotion, service quality and price on purchase decisions  of Yamaha Jupiter All variant at  Mataram Sakti  , Soegiyopranoto Branch Semarang. This study used  explanatory research. Primary data obtained from respondents using data collection instruments such as questionnaires and secondary data gained from the site in the form of a percentage of sales of Yamaha motorcycles with other motorcycle brands. The population of this research is  consumers who purchase  Yamaha Jupiter All Variant in Yamaha Mataram Sakti Soegiyopranoto  branch, Semarang at the years of 2009-2011 with a sample of 92 respondents from 1179 population were using purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used in this study is the validity and reliability, Cross Tabulation Analysis (Crosstab), Coefficient of Correlation, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Coefficient of Determination, t-test and F Test. Y = 0.018 + 0.002 X1 + 0.263 X2 + 0.172 X3. The analysis showed variable of promotion, service quality, price, has a positive and significant impact on the purchase decision variables. Hypothesis that tested using t-test showed that the three independent variables studied proved to significantly affect the dependent variable purchase decision. Through the T test can be seen that the variable promotion, service quality and price significantly effect together in a purchase decision. degree of closeness of the relationship between the variables promotion, service quality, and price of the purchase decision variable is promotion 0,408 , service quality 0,731 , Price 0,508 .Through the F test can be seen that the variable promotion, service quality and price significantly effect together in a purchase decision. degree of closeness of the relationship between the variables promotion, service quality, and price of the purchase decision variable is equal to 0.745, so it can be concluded that the strength of association (correlation) between variables linear promotion, service quality, and price of the purchase decision variables is strong. The company should give some promotion variations and increase the performance of the service officer in the quickness ability of giving service and decrease the number of fault that did by the company.

Abstract

Internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environment are the supporting factors in achieving higher labor satisfaction. When internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environment in a company are considered to be good, the rate of job satisfaction will be high so that the goal of a company could be achieved. The objective of this study is to investigate that there is an effect from internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environment toward job satisfaction In PT Kimia Farma Plant Semarang.The type of this study is explanatory research. The hypothesis used is internal communication (x1), labor compensation (x2), and labor environments (x3) have significant effect toward job satisfaction (y). The technique of data collection used questionnaire, interview, and literature study. The amount of respondents is 95 and all populations member could be made as respondents.The techniques of data analysis are validity study, reliability study, simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis which is processed by SPSS 17 for Windows. The conclusion of this study is that internal communication the rate is to be good, labor compensation the rate is proper, and labor environment the rate is to be good toward job satisfaction in PT Kimia Farma Plant Semarang. The test result using SPSS showed that internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environments have positive effect high job satisfaction either simultaneously or partially. Suggestion that can be submitted is for the company to improve and increase the workplace condition especially in the production unit so that the employees feel calm and comfortable in the workplace, so as to have loyalty to bring satisfaction in working.

Abstract

Consumer purchasing behavior of a product is influenced by many factors. Each individual has different wish and desires. Product quality is a most factor to the purchasing decision, besides that there are many factors that influence to the purchasing behavior. The purpose at this research is to determine how much the influence of the grand image, product quality, price and promotion of the product TelkomFlexi card to the purchasing decision and also knowing variables that the most dominant influence to the purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi card product at Kudus area. The type of research that used is the type of explanatory research. A sample of 100 respondent was taken that consumers who use TelkomFlexi starter pack. Sampling with purposive techniques. Data analysis techniques using linear regression analysis and SPSS 16.0. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that (a) brand image has positive and significant impact on purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi starter pack, (b) there are positive impact and significant on quality variable of product, (c) there are positive impact and significant on price variable, (d) there are positive impact and significant on promotion variable to the purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi starter pack. The most impact variable is promotion variable. Hipotesis test show that there are impact of grand image, product quality, price and promotion to the purchasing decision of TelkomFlexi starter pack. Determination coefisien for variable grand image (X1), product quality (X2), price (X3), and promotion (X4) give 79,2% for purchasing decision at PT. TelkomFlexi and 20,8% influenced by another factors. The suggestion of this research is PT. TelkomFlexi better to increase grand image so that the consumer more knowing the product, low price, keep good quality and defend of product so that the consumers always interest to the products.

Abstract

PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang is a company engaged in the production of herbal medicine. Purchases of raw materials performed each year has increased, it is influenced by the increase in market demand and the difference between the purchase of raw materials that have been planned and the actual realization of the need. With a production capacity of more banyyak, budget forecasting is necessary to purchase raw materials with a small degree of inconsistency. So it can reduce the cost of investment in materials, minimize production costs and ultimately company profits can be optimized. The purpose of this study was to determine the determination of the optimal raw material inventory by EOQ. Where the ledge first thing to do is to determine the need for raw materials for 5 (five) years, then the budget budgeting buying raw turmeric which includes the number of needs, beginning inventory and ending inventory so as to know the amount of the purchase of raw materials each year. To determine the need for raw materials in 2012 as a supporting factor is the historical data, data distribution, extensive business and competitors. Therefore used a method of forecasting the trend analysis covering semi average method, least square method, the method and the method of quadratic trend eksponentisial trend. Of the four forecasting methods are then conducted further analysis by selecting the most appropriate method paramalan to search the very low standard deviation, which means having a close measure of the accuracy of  the real situation.
