Abstract

Balanced scorecard has a privilege in terms of coverage measurement is a fairly comprehensive because while taking into consideration the financial performance, balanced scorcard also consider the performance of non-financial performance, namely customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth. Referring to the problems faced by CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang, this research examines: "Measurement of Company's Performance by Using the Balanced Scorecard Approach (A Case Study at CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang)." Because until now CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang has not been using the balanced scorecard to measure performance. Type of research is a case study. The data used inthis study is primary data obtained through focus group discussions and using data collection instruments such as questionnaires. And secondary data from the financial statements for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Data analysis begins with translating the vision and mission into strategic goals, set target and weights through the focus group discussions, performing measurements on each perspective and calculates a score balanced scorecard. Based on the analysis, it could be concluded that the balanced scorecard is a total score 182,73 and in the category of healthy. Perspective of financial, customer perspective and perspective learning and growth in the category of helathy as expected. And perspective of internal business processes in the category not healthy. Advice can be gives to the company is to improve the performance of the nonfinancialaspects, aspecially in the perspective learning and growth.

Abstract

The government launched the destination branding West Nusa Tenggara The first is "VISIT Lombok Sumbawa in 2012" in 2009, which was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. At the time, "VISIT Lombok Sumbawa in 2012" managed to bring in tourists profound, even to achieve an increase of one million tourists in 2012 with the average - average increase of 45% from 2009. The focus in this thesis is a policy - a policy issued by the government and park authority Nansional Mount Rinjani in developing tourism in the region Mount Rinjani National Park with a destination based on the complexity of the appeal, one of the community-based tourism development. Rinjani Treckking Management Board (RTMB) is an institution established by the government, which then cooperates with the National Park of Mount Rinjani in the development of local community-based tourism. In case of problems caused imlementasinya regulations made by the central government, among others, government regulation number 36 of 2010, PERMENHUT No. 4 in 2012, and the PP number 12 of 2014, which affects the clotting RTMB. These problems, berdamak to the development of tourism businesses in the region, because of business competition climate in the area of Mount Rinjani National Park unhealthy, caused is no more supervision by RTMB. Besides Mount Rinjani National Park is famous for the cultural wealth of the communities in the surrounding area. From a variety of cultural attractions owned, among others, menyembe culture, a culture that is unique in mengembala cow, foster a culture of the mountain, all the exploited people, be a tourist attraction to attract tourists. The conclusion of the program destination branding West Nusa Tenggara on Mount Rinjani National Park, namely, the role of RTMB in developing tourism in the National Park of Mount Rinjani is very important, because to make Rinjani as an icon atapun landmark tourism West Nusa Tenggara RTMB approach using 4 complexity Destination Branding that Natural Condition, Politics, Economics, and Society.

Abstract

Motivation , discipline , and work facilities is a supporting factor for achieving high performance in order to achieve optimal business profits . If the motivation , discipline, and work facilities of business is good, the high employee performance will be achieved, and the otherwise. Related to these three variables employee of Bumiputera 1912allegedly less motivated at work, lack of discipline, and didn’t get enough working facilities. For that this riset it was shown to determine how much influence the motivation, discipline, and facilities to employee performance ofBumiputera 1912 Semarang. The type of research that used areexplanatory research, with a population at all of permanent employees who work atBumiputera 1912semarangtotaly 70 people. The sampling technique census of this study, using quantitative analysis techniques analysis that techniques used is validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression , multiple linear regression , T test and F test with SPSS 15.0 tools . From the analysis of the data showing that 16.6%of motivationvariable have a significant influence on the performance variables. Discipline variables also have a significantinfluence on the 33.0 % performance variable and variable facility also has a significant influence on the 52.9 % performance variable. And the results of the study that variable influence motivation, discipline and facilities on the performance at 60.1 %, while remaining 39.9 % is explained by other non observedvariable . Advice that can given in this research is, increase work motivation by rewarding employees for their hard work for theadvancing of this company, honored in the work environment and the ability to work to get recognition from superiors and co-workers, and improve worker discipline according to standard company. completed work orders from each of supervisor so that employee more disciplined in terms of work and provide working facilities to thecompany so employees fully at work and provide facilities a large parking area , sothe employee will be easier to working if the working facility complete and decent according to the standard corporate

Abstract

Along with the times, the competition of UKM is getting tougher so that requires every manufacturer to be able to increase the demand for its products. Batik is a cultural heritage that is born as an art work that continues to evolve along with the times and needs to be preserved. Pekalongan batik industry has good potential and continues to grow. However, during the year of 2009-2013 sales results in Wiradesa batik industry, Pekalongan fluctuated. If this is not resolved then feared Wiradesa batik industry cannot develop so it cannot compete with other batik industry.The purpose of this research is to recognize and explain the influence of product design, product quality, and price towards purchase decision of Kampung Batik Wiradesa, Pekalongan District. This research is explanatory research type approach uses towards towards 97 respondents with a sampling technique accidental sampling. Type of data collection of this study are using the technique of questionnaires, interviews, observation and literature methods.The analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using cross-tables, test validity, reliability test, determination coefficient, correlation coefficient, a simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and test of significance (t-test and F-test) and also use the help application programs SPSS 20.0 for Windows.Results of statistical analysis known partial effect between product design towards purchase decision by 25,3%, product quality towards purchase decision by 33,8% and price towards purchase decision by 39,4%. The simultaneous influence of product design, product quality and price on purchase decision is 45,2% and 54,8% is affected by other factors.From these results it can be concluded that the product design, product quality, and price, has influence on purchase decisions either partially or simultaneously. Based on these conclusions, then owner of the UKM need to pay attention to the things about product design development to be more varied in style, color and model, improve the quality of the products offered, as well as give the price according to the quality of the product.

Abstract

Banking stocks are the biggest contributor to the existing capitalization on the stock exchanges in Indonesia. Banking stock price movements will be able to directly affect the performance of the Indonesian capital market because of large capitalization . The movement of stock prices are influenced by many factors , one of which is the macro economic factors. In relation to macroeconomic Indonesia, the bank acts as a control over the monetary policy issued by Bank Indonesia . Because of this, the study raised the BI rate, inflation, and Rupiah-US $  Exchange Rate as macroeconomic factors suspected to affect stock prices subsector banks.               This study aims to determine the effect of the BI Rate , Inflation and Rupiah - US $ Exchange Rate against the banking sub-sector stock price  years 2009-2013. Methods of data collection using secondary data of each variable . The sample in this study amounted to 13 banks with purposive sampling technique. Scale measurements using a measuring scale ratio. In linear regression analysis was used and the significance test using SPSS 15.0 .               From the analysis of data it can be concluded that  BI rate has no significant effect on stock prices of banking sub- sector . Inflation has no significant effect on stock prices of banking sub- sector . Rupiah -US $ exchange rate has no significant effect on stock prices of banking sub- sector. Simultaneously, BI Rate, Inflation and Rupiah - US $ Exchange Rate has a significant impact on stock prices of banking sub- sector amounted to 14.2 % .               The advice can be given that investors consider also other factors in addition to the factors BI Rate, Inflation and Rupiah - US $ as a material consideration in decision making stock purchases, especially in the banking sub-sector stocks .

Abstract

BBC - ETS is educational institutions and English language training that aims to provide services and English language training so that communities are able to communicate in English fluently. This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality, facilities and location of the consumer's decision in choosing the institution BBC - ETS Tlogosari Semarang branch. The population in this study is the teenager and adult students. By Sugiyono theory (2008), taken 95 respondents to be sampled and the sampling technique used is the proportional stratified random sampling. Measurement scale using Likert scale. In the analysis of the data using simple linear regression and multiple regression. Research shows that the quality of service, facilities, and location of positive influence on the decision to select a course, either partially or simultaneously. Categories of service quality by 57.9 percent said either. Category known facilities by 40 percent expressed either. Categories location by 42.1 percent said either. decision to select a course known by 41.1 percent expressed high. service quality affects the decision to choose a course of 38.1 percent. Variables facilities influence the decision to choose a course of 16.6 percent. Variables affect the location decision of choosing a course of 12.1 percent. Variable quality of service, facilities, and location influence the decision to choose a course of 43.3 percent.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of price, service quality and brand image of the decision of policyholder in choosing Jiwasraya Insurance. Type of research is explanatory research. With a sample of 95 respondents who use Jiwasraya insurance through non probabiliti sampling technique which is purposive sampling. The analysis technique uses test validity, reliability testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T test and F test with SPSS tools 16. The results of this study indicate that the price, service quality, and brand image of Jiwasraya Insurance is quite good. Purchasing decisions are also included in good categorization. The influence rate of price on purchase decisions is 35.9%. The influence rate of service quality on purchase decisions is 26.8%. The influence rate of brand image on purchase decisions is 50.5%. Simultaneously, the influence rate of price, service quality and brand image is at 58.5%. Based on data analysis, it can be inferred partially and simultaneously that the price, service quality and brand image significantly influence purchasing decisions and have a strong level of closeness relationship. It is suggested that companies need to enhance the benefits obtained, quality of service and maintain the existence of the company so that the company's existence remains credible and finally leads to higher purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research is conducted to discover the influence of product quality, Promotion, and Brand Image on Purchase decision to Women Smoker in Tembalang District. Type of this research is Explanatory Resesarch. Population used for this research is consumer that bought Marlboro. Samples used for this research are 100 respondents whom counted with Slovin formula.  Sample collection sample is Non Probability Sampling. Questioner and Interview used to collecting data for this research. To analyze the data method used is linear regression analysis.Result of this research show that product quality, promotion, and brand image has impact on purchase decision. Product quality, promotion, and brand image are able to explain (punctuate) purchase decision variable in amount of 87.8% which influenced by product quality (32.7%), Promotion (15.6%), Brand Image (87.7%). These variables have significant impact on purchase decision of Marlboro in Tembalang District with the most influential variable is Brand Image.Author suggests that the producer give more education to its salesperson regarding the product, make some innovation in the design of the packaging and the cigarette filter in order to attract the consumer, especially women smoker.

Abstract

Nowadays, people has been aware about the importance of health. Public awareness about the importance of health is an opportunity for health sevice especially hospital. Therefore, many hospitals are competing to provide satisfaction for its customers. There are several factors that affect patient satisfaction such as service quality, location, and hospital rate. Based on the existing problems in this research is the result of pre-survey of 30 respondents which indicate patient dissatisfaction. This research purpose to find out positive and significant influence of service quality, location, and hospital rate on hospitalized patient satisfaction at Lestari Raharja Hospital Magelang. This research included in explanatory. Taked 88 respondents as sample with proportionate stratified random sampling method. Collecting data used questionnaire and interview. Hypotheses tested by crosstab, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, and F test. The result of this research show that service quality, location, and hospital rate are proved have positive and significant affect in partially and simultaneously on Patient Satisfaction.
