Abstract

The attractiveness of a tourist area is a driving force for a tourism place, therefore the tourist attraction is the main driver that encourages tourists to visit a tourist spot. The method used in this service is the method of transferring knowledge and skills through a participatory approach. The forms of activities provided to partners are training, counseling and mentoring. The stages of the activity begin with observation, namely interviews with relevant government and stakeholders. The activity continued with the socialization of the PIPK program and holding a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) to find out the conditions that are currently happening at the service location, whether in the form of obstacles, threats, constraints or potentials that exist and are feasible to develop. The next stage is formulating alternative policy programs taken, offering the right solution in overcoming problems from partners. The stages of implementation through training and counseling and providing assistance. The results of this community service activity can be seen in each of the Pokdarwis Bahari partners, namely 1 (one) design of a tourism site plan, Availability of adequate facilities, 1 ( one) tourism management structure, 1 (one) online-based promotional media and for lagoon KUB partners, 1 (one) design of fishery product processing equipment as well as diversification of various processed fishery products that are ready to be marketed.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efficacy of S. agalactiae whole cell vaccine orally with Artemia sp as a vaccine vector for prevention against Streptococcosis in tilapia. Fish fry used in the study were 2-3 cm in size that did not carry S. agalactiae bacteria, kept in 3 l volume jars as many as ten heads / jars. Giving the vaccine to fish orally by first soaking the vaccine into Artemia sp.. The length of soaking time of the vaccine is 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 minutes. The parameters observed were relative percent survival (RPS), antibody titer value, total leukocytes, pagocytic index, and leukocyte differential. The results of the RPS value study showed that the treatment between vaccines was not significantly different, while the treatment of vaccines with controls was significantly different (P<0.05). The highest RPS value was obtained in vaccine immersion treatment in Artemia sp. for 30 minutes and 120 minutes with a value of 93.33%. Furthermore, RPS is 86.67% at 15 and 150 minutes soaking and RPS is 80% at 30 minutes immersion. This shows that the level of vaccine protection against streptococcosis in tilapia fry is very high

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of ectoparasites found in the thallus of cultivated seaweed Kappaphycus alvarezii and their effect on their growth. The research will be conducted in the seaweed cultivation area of Mandalle Village, Pangkajene Islands Regency. The determination of research stations was carried out purposively (purposive sampling) for three representative aquaculture stations. This is so that it can represent or describe the condition of the waters of Mandalle Village. The cultivation method used in this study was the long line method as used by residents around the study site. Maintenance construction as a sampling unit at each station point, in the form of a 25-meter long rope span of 10 ropes with a distance between the ropes of 1 m. Each stretch rope contains 100-120 seedling clumps with a distance of 20 cm between the straps. Seaweed seeds with an initial weight of 50-70 grams, tied to clump ropes. Planting of seeds is carried out at a depth of 30 cm from the surface of the water. The cultivation construction distance is installed as far as 700-1000 m from the beach. Observation of growth is done by measuring the weight of each clump or the overall weight of each clump of each span rope, at the end of each maintenance cycle. The data obtained for 45 days is then calculated using the growth formula. Seaweed samples for observation of ectoparasites were taken at 3 (three) points of the cultivation area for each bundle of seaweed. The entire surface of the sample thallus was observed with the naked eye and the loop. The results of this study indicated that all observation stations on the South, North and West coasts were dominated by barnacle ectoparasites, followed by green mussels and worms with a total percentage of 90%. While the absolute growth between all stations is relatively the same.

Abstract

Increasing the growth of tilapia can be done by improving the quality of feed by adding multivitamins in the right amount. The purpose of this study was to determine the right dose of multivitamins for the growth and feed conversion ratio of nirvana tilapia (O. niloticus) in the biofloc system. This study was conducted from February to April 2024. This study used nirvana tilapia seeds measuring 4-5 g, with 5 treatments and 4 replications, namely 0 ml / kg of feed (control), 10 ml / kg of feed, 20 ml / kg of feed, 30 ml / kg of feed, 40 ml / kg of feed. The data was analyzed first using normality and homogeneity tests, then the data was analyzed using the analysis of variance test and the Least Significant Difference (LSD) further test. The results of the study showed a significant effect of multivitamin doses on the growth and feed conversion ratio of nirvana tilapia in the biofloc system, the optimal dose of multivitamins on the growth and feed conversion ratio of nirvana tilapia in the biofloc system was 40 ml/kg of feed with an absolute weight of 6.38 g, a specific growth rate reaching 1.53% and a feed conversion ratio of 1.08.
