Abstract

This service aims to provide training and guidance for teachers of SDN 2 Seulalah Langsa to make HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) integrated multiliterate learning-based exam questions. This community service activity aims to (1) assist teachers in increasing understanding of evaluating learning outcomes, (2) increasing teachers' understanding of multiliteracy learning and HOTS questions, and (3) increasing teachers' pedagogical abilities in making HOTS integrated multiliterate learning-based exam questions, so that later HOTS questions are obtained in accordance with the standards of the 2013 Curriculum and Independent Learning. This community service activity was carried out in the form of short training for three face-to-face meetings by complying with health protocols and three online discussions. The activity was attended by elementary school teachers at SDN 2 Seulalah Langsa. The methods applied in the implementation of this activity are tutorial, discussion, simulation and demonstration methods. The result of this activity is an increase in the teacher's understanding of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions and the teacher's ability to make HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dengan menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk mendorong siswa menjadi lebih aktif salah satunya menggunakan LKPD. LKPD yang digunakan perlu dikembangkan dengan suatu pendekatan agar siswa lebih aktif untuk menemukan dan menerapkan idenya sendiri. Sebelum hasil pengembangan LKPD digunakan dalam pembelajaran, perlu diketahui terlebih dahulu tingkat kelayakan dan kepraktisannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan kepraktisan LKPD berbasis discovery learning pada mata pelajaran Biologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D), dengan mengaplikasikan model 4D, yaitu define, design, develop dan disseminate yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3D. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kelayakan LKPD dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 95% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Dimana untuk kelayakan materi sebesar 97,3%, kelayakan media sebesar 92.2% dan kelayakan bahasa sebesar 95,5%. Sedangkan kepraktisan LKPD didapatkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 94,1% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”. Dimana hasil penilaian respon guru sebesar 100% dan penilaian respon peserta didik sebesar 88,2%. Disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis discovery learning yang dikembangkan sudah layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using E-Modules Science learning to improve student learning outcomes at SMPN 6 Langsa. This research uses quantitative research withthe True method Experimental design and pretest-posttestcontrol group design. Sample of this research are students of class VII-1 and VII-2 of SMPN 6 Langsa with a total of 54 students student. The research results show the average pretest scorefor the experimental class amounted to 43.29 (low) andthe control class amounted to 33.20 (very low) so The difference in the average pretest score between the two classesis 10.09. Whereas The average posttest score for the experimental class was85.25 (high) and the control score was 70.04 (medium) so the difference between the two classes is 15.21 with hypothesis test value tcount = 15.05 > ttable= 2.006. Thus you can it is concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an influence significant in the use of Science learning E-Modules to improve student learning outcomes at SMPN 6 Langsa
