Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan psikomotorik peserta didik melalui implementasi problem based learning pada materi laju reaksi. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan pada bulan oktober 2018 di SMAN 4 Banda Aceh melalui pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Pemilihan sampel secara purposive diperoleh peserta didik kelas XI IA-3 yang berjumlah 30 orang dari populasi 5 kelas XI IA. Lembar observasi psikomotorik peserta didik yang telah disiapkan sebagai instrumen dinilai oleh observer berjumlah enam orang, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan rumus perbandingan untuk memperolah data dalam bentuk nilai. Nilai yang diperoleh dari 10 item penilaian lembar psikomotorik menujukkan bahwa didapatkannya nilai yang sempurna dengan kategori sangat baik yaitu 4, seperti menuliskan kajian teoritas, rumusan masalah, prosedur kerja, dan bentuk fisik. Sedangkan item lainnya mendapatkan nilai di sekitaran 3,5; 3,7; 3,8; dan 3,9 yang masih dikategorikan rata-rata sangat baik juga. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengolahan data enam kelompok keseluruhan diperolehlah bahwa psikomotorik peserta didik mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebesar 95 dengan kategori sangat baik. Sehingga untuk penelitian lanjutan dapat disarankan melakukan penilaian psikomotorik berbasis mutiple intelligence dengan Problem Based Learning dengan menyiapkan lembar rubrik yang sesuai.

Abstract

The learning process currently taking place in schools focuses more on improving cognitive aspects, but does not pay more attention to skills aspects, especially student creativity. This study aims to describe students' creativity through the implementation of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model based on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. This research was conducted in MAN Kota Lhokseumawe with sample selection by purposive sampling, namely class X MIA 5 totaling 30 students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data were obtained using student creativity assessment sheets. The results showed that the average score of students was 77% with very creative criteria, this was obtained based on the assessments made by the observer in each group. The group is selected heterogeneously, that is, students are grouped based on the mix of their ability to score. The conclusion of the results of this study is that applying the STEM-based PjBL learning model can develop students' creative ideas in the teaching and learning process

Abstract

This service aims to provide training and guidance for teachers of SDN 2 Seulalah Langsa to make HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) integrated multiliterate learning-based exam questions. This community service activity aims to (1) assist teachers in increasing understanding of evaluating learning outcomes, (2) increasing teachers' understanding of multiliteracy learning and HOTS questions, and (3) increasing teachers' pedagogical abilities in making HOTS integrated multiliterate learning-based exam questions, so that later HOTS questions are obtained in accordance with the standards of the 2013 Curriculum and Independent Learning. This community service activity was carried out in the form of short training for three face-to-face meetings by complying with health protocols and three online discussions. The activity was attended by elementary school teachers at SDN 2 Seulalah Langsa. The methods applied in the implementation of this activity are tutorial, discussion, simulation and demonstration methods. The result of this activity is an increase in the teacher's understanding of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions and the teacher's ability to make HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the knowledge, understanding and skills of junior high school science teachers in Langsa City in designing learning tools in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) integrated with Acehnese local wisdom. The activities were carried out on July 29 and August 5, 2022 at SMP N 5 Langsa City. The targets in this activities were junior high school science teachers who were members of the Langsa City Science MGMP, totaling 27 people. This community service activity consisted of three stages, namely the preliminary stage, implementation and evaluation and reflection. In the preliminary stage, the community service team discussed with partners regarding the problems experienced by partners and jointly designed solution plans. The implementation phase was divided into two main activities, namely training and mentoring activities. The training activities were carried out face-to-face and then continued with the teachers who were accompanied by the community service team to design and compile LKPD according to the correct writing systematics. The evaluation and reflection stages were carried out to find out the shortcomings of the LKPD made. Participants were given a questionnaire to explore information related to their level of understanding after attending the training and mentoring. The training and mentoring activities were carried out well, received positive responses from partners and there was an increase in teacher understanding of 81.5% in compiling Student Worksheets (LKPD) integrated with Acehnese local wisdom.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep kimia yang berlevel baik tercermin dari tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep- konsep kimia yang dikaji. Basic thinking merupakan kemampuan memahami konsep yang termasuk dalam salah satu tingkatan keterampilan berpikir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan model pembelajaran problem solving dan problem posing pada materi penentuan ΔH reaksi, melalui penelitian asosiatif kausalitas dengan teknik kuantitatif, yang diterapkan pada 2 kelas IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Gandapura. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan melakukan tes soal (tes kognitif). Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik uji N-Gain. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa, hasil uji hipotesis dengan nilai sig kedua kelas tersebut adalah 0,000. Hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving dan problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi penentuan ΔH reaksi di SMA Negeri 1 Gandapura. Sedangkan nilai perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi penentuan ΔH reaksi diperoleh dari hasil analisis data rata-rata nilai N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen I adalah 0,703 (kategori tinggi) dan kelas eksperimen II adalah 0,605 (kategori sedang). Dengan demikian dari dua hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen I lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas eksperimen II.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kreativitas peserta didik setelah diimplementasikan model PBL pada materi laju reaksi. Proses pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil dari tanggal 12 sampai 26 Oktober 2016 di SMAN 4 Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan berbentuk pre-experimental dengan one-group pretest-posttest design pada peserta didik kelas XI IA-5 yang berjumlah 26 orang secara purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa lembar penilaian kreativitas peserta didik yang dianalisis menggunakan rumus perbandingan diterapkan dalam tindakan ini. Berdasarkan hasil data, diperolehlah tingkat kreativitas peserta didik sebesar 92 (kategori sangat baik). Dengan demikian, bagi peneliti lanjutan dapat disarankan mampu melakukan pengembangan bentuk kreativitas lainnya pada peserta didik

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the chemistry learning process at Unggul Cut Nyak Dhien High Schoolin Langsa city, with a focus on the techniques used by teachers and student involvement in theteaching and learning process. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach,which collects data through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation.The research results show that although the use of PowerPoint as a medium for delivering material isquite helpful, the learning process tends to be one-way, with most students involved in limitedquestions and answers. More active students often dominate, while most others are passive. Apartfrom that, the lack of practical activities also limits students' understanding of more complex chemicalconcepts. This research suggests that learning methods should be updated with more experiments andopportunities for students to ask questions, to increase their engagement and understanding of thematerial being taught.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize chemistry learning by developing teaching materials in the form of E-Modules. The E-Module is an interactive multimedia teaching material that is available online, not in print. E-Modules integrate text, images, and videos to create an engaging and interactive digital learning experience for learners. The research method employed is R&D, utilizing the ADDIE model, which focuses on the analysis stage to identify the need for developing teaching materials. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the interviews indicate that teachers require an interactive E-Module to enhance students' understanding of chemical materials. The results of the questionnaire analysis of the need for an integrated RADEC-based E-Module with the SETS approach on green chemical materials, with an overall average of 71.05%, are included in the criteria needed. These results highlight the importance of innovative teaching materials based on an integrated learning approach model in meeting the needs for interactivity and multimedia, thereby encouraging student involvement in learning. This study concludes that the development of RADEC-based E-Modules integrated with the SETS Approach is needed to improve the quality of chemistry learning in schools.
