Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of principal management in improving the quality of education at Mts Ibnu Sina. The method in this study uses a qualitative method. Research location at Mts Ibn Sina. The research participant is the principal of the school. The object of research is management aspects including planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. The results of this study indicate that the principal as a manager plays a role: the principal of Mts Ibnu Sina makes plans to improve quality, namely holding a meeting at the beginning of the year or what is often referred to as the School Annual Work Meeting (RAKER) Together with teachers, employees, and stakeholders at Mts Ibnu Sina. The organization carried out by the principal of Mts Ibnu Sina by dividing the duties of employees (Tupoksi) according to their responsibilities. In practice, the principal provides direction and motivation for teachers to teach using various methods and provides fair treatment to teachers if the teacher gets an achievement. The principal of Mts Ibnu Sina did a gradual evaluation. The evaluation is carried out once every 1-2 months by holding meetings with fellow teachers and school principals, and the foundation's overall evaluation of education management is of course.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) system, determine the condition of collection services, and analyze the influence of the OPAC system on the effectiveness of collection services in the Purwakarta Regency Regional Library. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to selected library users using random sampling techniques. The research analysis focused on the relationship between the utilization of the OPAC system and the effectiveness of library collection services. The results of the study show that the OPAC system has an important role in supporting the ease of access to information, the speed of collection search, and the accuracy of information retrieval for users. However, the use of OPAC in the Purwakarta Regency Regional Library is not fully optimal because there are still many users who depend on the assistance of librarians and the limited use of OPAC facilities. Therefore, optimizing the use of OPAC is needed to increase the effectiveness of collection services and the quality of information technology-based library services.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate Instagram-based digital marketing in improving students' decision to continue their education at SMK PGRI 2 Karawang. The research employed a qualitative approach with an evaluative case study method. The evaluation model used was CIPP, consisting of context, input, process, and product. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Instagram is relevant to the needs of prospective students who actively seek school information through social media. In terms of input, the school has assigned managers, supporting devices, and various content formats such as photos, videos, digital posters, stories, and reels. In the process aspect, Instagram is used to deliver information about school activities, student achievements, facilities, and student admission information while building interaction with prospective students. In the product aspect, Instagram contributes to increasing school awareness, interest, confidence, and students' decisions to continue their education. However, posting consistency and content variation still need to be improved so that digital marketing can run more optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for strengthening the competence of non-functional staff at the Library of the Agency for Language Development and Cultivation, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. The research is motivated by the condition that library management and services continue to run despite the absence of an active librarian, while operational duties are carried out by administrative staff with non-library educational backgrounds. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data are analyzed through data collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing, supported by SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors. The analysis shows that staff experience, organizational trust, and service continuity are internal strengths, while limited formal library education and the absence of active librarians are weaknesses. Opportunities include competency standards, training programs, and information technology development, whereas threats include increasing service demands and dependence on certain personnel. The recommended strategies include competency-based training, technical mentoring, work procedure documentation, phased competency mapping, and periodic evaluation. Strengthening competence is expected to improve staff knowledge, skills, work attitudes, and the quality of library services.
