Abstract

On his way, found that the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Semarang city impressed slow.This is due to failed in adopting information technology in its efforts to. When compared with large companies, theyalways have concern for the use of new technologies in support of its business. The system used by Micro, Small andMedium Enterprises (UMKM) in Semarang still utilize the traditional system, While this has become moresophisticated and the existence of modern technology. Abstract

This study aimed to find out the influence of supply chain integration, information technology and innovation on competitive advantage. The research population comprised freight forwading company in Semarang City. The sample was selected by means of the purposive sampling technique. The sample was 100 companies. The data were collected by a questionnaire, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in the study was multiple regression analysis using the program of SPSS Version 17 for Windows. The results of the study showed that supply chain integration, information technology and innovation had a significant positive effect on competitive advantage. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.71 or 71%, the coefficient shows that 71 % of competitive advantage is affected by supply chain integration, information technology, innovation while the remaining 29% is affected by other independent variables not study.

Abstract

Transportation plays an important role in supporting community activities amidst globalization. This research focuses on users of roll-on/roll-off (RORO or ro-ro) ship services which traverse the Semarang – Lampung route. By using a sample of 100 respondents, non-probability sampling via purposive sampling was used. Data collection involves administering questionnaires to measure respondents' perspectives on the variables studied. Multiple linear regression analysis was used for data analysis. The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence of price, facilities and timeliness factors on purchasing decisions. The regression equation obtained from this analysis highlights the interaction between these factors and purchasing behavior. Specifically, the results of this study highlight the individual impact of price, facilities, and timeliness on purchasing decisions in the context of ship services. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of consumer behavior in transportation services, providing insights for service providers to tailor offerings that align with customer preferences and increase overall satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of communication quality (X1), teamwork (X2), and trust (X3) on work productivity (Y) of Tanjung Emas Port employees in Semarang with a total of 130 respondents. By using the SPSS Regression model tool for data analysis, the results show that the quality of communication, teamwork and trust all have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Collectively, these variables contribute 50.6% to the diversity of work productivity, and the remaining 49.4% is influenced by other external factors. In hypothesis testing, it was found that communication quality (X1) had a significant positive effect on work productivity (Y), with a calculated t value of 4.376 > t table value of 1.98045, supporting hypothesis 1 (H1). Likewise, teamwork (X2) and trust (X3) both have a positive effect on work productivity (Y), with calculated t values of 2.039 and 4.852 respectively, exceeding the t table value, thus supporting hypotheses 2 (H2) and 3 (H3). These findings underscore the importance of fostering effective communication, teamwork, and trust in the workplace to increase overall productivity.

Abstract

The development of the world of trade in the era of globalization has made the boundaries of trade flows increasingly free. In order to maintain the stability of the export value, various improvements need to be made in the export activity sector itself. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of government policy, implementation of logistics systems and export product quality on export performance at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. This research uses quantitative methods with the number of samples used being 124 respondents consisting of employees of trading manufacturing companies that carry out export activities at the Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. The independent variables analyzed in this research are government policy, implementation of the logistics system, and quality of export products. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is export performance at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. Next, the data was analyzed using SPSS software. The research results show that government policy has a positive effect on export performance. The implementation of a logistics system has a positive effect on export performance. Lastly, export products have a positive effect on export performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-logistics and logistics networks on logistics performance, as well as to analyze the development project of blockchain technology adoption in mediating the relationship in the maritime industry. Quantitative methods are applied by collecting primary data through a questionnaire survey aimed at managers, staff, and employees of shipping companies in Semarang. Of the 300 questionnaires distributed, 231 were collected, but only 204 met the criteria for analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results of the study indicate that e-logistics has an influence on the adoption of blockchain technology but does not directly affect logistics performance. Conversely, logistics networks do not affect the adoption of blockchain technology but have a significant impact on logistics performance. The adoption of blockchain technology has a positive effect on logistics performance and serves as a mediator connecting e-logistics with logistics performance, although there is no significant influence between logistics networks and logistics performance through blockchain technology.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) at Semarang expands fastly. A lotof business create larger job opportunity in order to reduce unemployment people. One of theidea on empowering UMKM in information technology era is by establishing central communicationof UMKM based on Website. By making web marketing media, besides it providesinformation about UMKM development in Semarang, it can be functioned to access forany information of production factors. In addition, it can communicate with another UMKMglobally to extend the networks. Web design method uses flowchart system, while its research objectis UMKM which still run its business actively in Semarang. The resulting web is very interactive,it is because the two ways communication between the customer and UMKM, therefore it can buildcustomer community to encourage for purchasing the products in which marketed through web.

Abstract

The development of technology is very fast as it is supported by internet technology applications. On the other hand, the mobility of the individual is higher so they need application technologies that can respond to all the requests and needs of mobility. Within this condition it is very beneficial if then pemanfaatan all devices based on technology has become a way of life and like work because almost all jobs require high application of technology.In accordance with the development of technology that is implemented in transportation equipment that is not much found in sea vessels that can be accessed through mobile devices, well from the schedule of the ferry, information and for sending the ticket to a company. An android based mobile application can be planned which should solve those problems. This application is available to use the fast property of Android OS used for ordering ticket kapal laut, find out the schedule of kebarankatkan from different kapal due to payment. Application booking ticket online kapal laut based on android using the methodology DAD (Disciplined Agile Delivery) should provide information for communities where to travel with sea transportation, get information about kapal, sailing schedule, order tickets for each.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the performance of SMEs run by the millennial generation by investigating the effect of entrepreneurship orientation indicators of innovation, proactivity, and risk orientation on sustainability decisions by using the mediating effect of future orientation. The research was conducted in 160 SMEs run by the millennial generation in Semarang, Indonesia. The sampling was conducted using simple random sampling, while the analysis was performed by examining path analysis using the PLS-SEM technique. The results showed significant influences of innovation, proactivity, and risk orientation on future orientation. The analysis of the mediating role of future orientation showed its capability to strengthen the effects of innovation, proactivity, and risk orientation on sustainability decisions. The findings have implications for allowing millennial generation SMEs to remain competitive in the development of the digital world by making them more future-oriented and to have a better future outlook to mitigate uncertainties in the future by optimizing innovation proactivity and risk orientation. Therefore, the factors critical for the sustainability of millennial SMEs are adjusting strategies that can seize current opportunities and develop digital capabilities and innovation strategies to compete in an increasingly competitive market.
