Abstract

Initiatives to develop IT projects in the education sector have shown significant potential to improve the quality of learning in Indonesia. Effective IT project management is crucial to the progress of this IT project. Nevertheless, the study reveals that from 2017 to 2021, there were obstacles in the form of a relatively high number of project failures (61%), and only 18% of information technology initiatives were successful. This study is designed to assist organizations in identifying and managing critical factors in their organizational culture to achieve success in IT project management as part of their efforts to achieve national technological resilience. The respondents in this study were lecturers and education personnel at universities in Indonesia who met specific criteria, including their involvement in information technology initiatives at their institutions. This investigation employed a convenience sampling method in conjunction with a non-probability sampling technique. According to the analysis, the success of information technology project management was significantly enhanced by organizational culture, which encompassed communication, awards and incentives, learning, and cooperation. The study's findings can assist Indonesian firms in recognizing and controlling key elements of their organizational culture that contribute to the success of IT project management inside their establishments, hence enhancing Indonesia's technological resilience as a whole.

Abstract

In the 2024 election, widely celebrated as a festival of democracy, the spread of hoax news through social media has become a significant concern. A total of 203 hoax issues were identified, resulting in the spread of 2,882 hoax contents across various websites. A survey by Katadata Insight Center (KIC) revealed that between 30% to 60% of Indonesians were exposed to such hoaxes, with only 21% to 36% of them able to accurately discern whether the news was factual or a hoax. This research aims to develop a model using the K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) algorithm to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of news from various Indonesian news websites through machine learning-based classification techniques. By categorizing news into potentially factual and potentially hoax categories, this study seeks to provide insights into which news pages are more likely to present factual information. The method employed involves Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) word weighting combined with KNN modeling, using Euclidean distance for calculation. The KNN model achieved a training accuracy of 0.90 and a testing accuracy of 0.88. The findings indicate that news sites such as detik.com, okezone.com, liputan6.com, and cnnindonesia.com demonstrate higher accuracy in the news they present. The use of the KNN method successfully identified probabilities of factual and hoax potential across news websites, including kompas.com, liputan6.com, detiknews.com, antaranews.com, cnnindonesia.com, okezone.com, sindonews.com, kumparan.com, pikiranrakyat.com, and wartatransparansi.com

Abstract

Saat kondisi ekonomi mengalami penurunan maka laba sulit diperoleh. Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) masih belum memahami pentingnya menentukan laba pada perhitungan biaya pada proses produksinya (cost plus). Manfaat yang didapatkan UMKM apabila dapat menghitung biaya produksi yakni dapat memperpanjang umur keberlangsungan UMKM saat kondisi ekonomi menurun. Pemilik UMKM dapat memisahkan keuangan pribadi dan usahanya agar menghindari kesalahan input transaksi. Upaya tersebut dapat dilakukan UMKM apabila dapat mengelola laporan keuangan secara baik. Pengelolaan laporan keuangan dapat dilakukan dengan cara menentukan harga jual berdasarkan harga pokok produksi. Penentuan harga jual yang tidak tepat akan berakibat fatal pada perusahaan. Metode full costing menjadi metode untuk menentukan harga pokok produksi dengan memperhitungkan seluruh unsur biaya. Selain itu, UMKM menghitung harga jual dengan pendekatan cost-plus pricing untuk mendapatkan laba yang diinginkan. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk penentuan cost-plus dengan pendekatan full cost pada Omah Pakis Kedai Kopi dengan mensosialisasikan unsur-unsur biaya (baik biaya tetap dan biaya variabel) yang muncul dalam proses produksi, volume penjualan, serta laba yang diinginkan. Target yang diinginkan Omah Pakis Kedai Kopi dapat menentukan cost plus saat terdapat perubahan biaya dan volume, karena perubahan tersebut dapat mempengaruhi harga pokok produksi yang akan mempengaruhi pula pada laba. Rencana kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan dalam penentuan cost-plus dengan pendekatan full costing pada Omah Pakis Kedai Kopi.

Abstract

Social media is a digital platform used as a means of communication through text, images,videos, and information exchange. Among students, social media is often used beforelectures, during breaks, and after teaching and learning activities. This study aims toanalyze social media usage patterns and their impact on student academic achievement,particularly at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FTTI) of JenderalAchmad Yani University Yogyakarta (Unjaya). The method applied is the K-Meansalgorithm to identify social media usage patterns and their correlation with academicachievement. The research stages included data collection, data pre-processing,application of the K-Means algorithm, evaluation, and conclusion of results. Based on asample of 107 students using the Elbow method, three data clusters were obtained, namelyCluster 0 (3 members), Cluster 1 (47 members), and Cluster 2 (57 members). Testing usingthe Silhouette Score produced a value of 0.196, while the Davies-Bouldin Index showed avalue of 1.490. The results indicate that social media use has a positive impact on learningachievement, as reflected in the Grade Point Average (GPA) above 3.6 among FTTI Unjayastudents

Abstract

Usaha toko roti skala kecil menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola proses bisnis agar efisien dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses bisnis pada Toko Roti Pak Joyo Roti Maryono di Sleman, Yogyakarta, yang masih menghadapi kendala pencatatan manual, keterlambatan produksi dan promosi yang belum optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah Business Process Improvement (BPI) dengan pemodelan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) serta analisis SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi internal dan eksternal. Hasil perhitungan SWOT menunjukkan skor kekuatan 1,72; kelemahan 0,82; peluang 1,23; dan ancaman 0,86, sehingga posisi strategi berada pada Kuadran I (x = 0,90; y = 0,37) yang menandakan strategi pertumbuhan (growth strategy). Melalui BPI, sejumlah perbaikan diusulkan, meliputi digitalisasi pencatatan, pemanfaatan media sosial, penyampaian informasi stok melalui WhatsApp, kerja sama dengan jasa pengiriman, serta penambahan tenaga kerja cadangan. Perubahan tersebut meningkatkan efisiensi dengan percepatan proses kerja, pengurangan waktu tunggu, dan minimnya kesalahan pencatatan, serta meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan dan jangkauan promosi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan pendekatan sistematis dalam perbaikan proses bisnis agar usaha kecil menengah lebih kompetitif.

Abstract

The problem faced by MSMEs is the lack of recording the costs incurred in determining prices. The aim of the research is for MSMEs to find out the cost of production using the full costing method and determine the desired profit using the cost-plus approach. With this determination, it is hoped that it can be used to make various decisions regarding selling prices. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to analyze the data. The research results show that the selling price of beverage products at full costing and cost-plus is lower than the price determined by Omah Pakis. Meanwhile, for food products, the full costing and cost-plus calculations are higher compared to the prices determined by Omah Pakis. The conclusion of this research is that costs are only charged to the elements of raw material and labor costs so that the information on determining selling prices is incomplete. As a result of incomplete cost information data being available, the decisions taken by the owner of Omah Pakis only focus on the short term. Omah Pakis can group production costs by determining the markup to determine the selling price using the cost-plus method.
