Abstract

The Indonesian aviation industry is growing very rapidly. The more you compete in the airline industry, the more choices you have when it comes to products and services. One of them is the birth of the concept of "low cost airline". Yogyakarta International Airport is an airport with relatively high service for the flow of passengers and goods. Passenger and freight traffic is increasing year by year and cannot be compared to means to ensure flight safety such as X-ray operations which are not yet fully operational. To ensure that passengers are satisfied with the service, therefore it is necessary to calculate the number of x-rays needed to avoid long queues during the check-in process. Data were collected from direct observation and surveys. The analysis method uses quantitative methods such as validation, reliability testing, deterministic testing, partial calculation testing with SPSS applications, and manual calculations. The results of this study aimed to know the standard capacity of X-ray available with the needs of the number of passengers during peak hours so that there is no buildup in the inspection area and measure the level of service provided by Avsec to passengers at Yokyakarta International Airport, and can know the level of satisfaction of passengers to the service at the Domestic Departure Terminal of Yogyakarta International Airport.

Abstract

Safety first means top priority in the world of aviation, so that flights are carried out in safe and secure conditions according to the flight plan supported by flights that are free from disturbances or act against the law. In a month, Radin Inten II International Airport has experienced nine wildlife incidents, this indicating that flight safety at Radin Inten II International Airport Lampung needs to be optimized. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by referring to the SKEP/42/III/2010 regulation on "Instructions and Procedures for Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Section 139-03 Hazard Management of Liar Animals at Airports and Surroundings". Methods of data collection using the method of observation, literature study and interviews. The method used to test the data is to test the validity of the data including the credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The results of this study indicate that the quality of WHMP handling affect flight safety and security. Meanwhile, the results of data test show that the quality of WHMP handling at the airport was still not optimal, as evidenced by incidents and several factor that did not support WHMP optimization. The results of this study are expected to optimize WHMP of Radin Inten II International Airport, Lampung.

Abstract

The growth in the world of aviation that continue to move forward provide us with convenience in using air transportation and working in the world of aviation, one example of which is AOCC. AOCC is a combination of all Stakeholders with the aim of facilitating communication between units in carrying out their duties. This system makes it easier for AMC personnel as an airside operational unit to provide information about parking stands to other units. The research method used is a quantitative method of data collection by means of field observations, interviews and questionnaires. The population in this study were 31 AMC personnel and AOCC unit personnel at Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Manado. The samples used by the researchers were all AMS and AOCC personnel, totaling 31 respondents. The results of this study are based on data obtained from the field which is then processed using the SPSS 21 intrument method with Pearson correlation and manual calculations to find the final results. The final result obtained from this research is that according to the data that has been processed by the researcher using the SPSS 21 intrument, the data shows that the automation concept can improve the performance of AMC personnel at Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Manado. This is evidenced by the test we have using SPSS 21 which shows that the value of R count > from the R table and the value of the Pearson correlation is positive which indicates the concept of automation and the performance of AMC personnel has a connection.
