Abstract

Dalam proses menua dapat terjadi beberapa perubahan yang menyangkut perubahan sosial, spiritual, biologis dan psikologis. Depresimerupakan gangguan psikologis yang paling umum terjadi pada tahun-tahunterakhir kehidupan individu. Depresi pada usia lanjut memberikan dampakdiantaranya memperpendek harapan hidup dengan memperburuk kemunduranfisik pada lansia, menghambat pemenuhan tugas-tugas perkembangan lansia,menurunkan kualitas hidup lansia. Salah satu terapi yang dapat dilakukan untukmengatasi depresi adalah senam tai chi dan guided imagery. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam tai chi dan guided imagery terhadap penurunan depresi pada lansia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test design. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang lansia yang mengalami depresi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simpel random sampling . Uji statistik yang digunakan pada uji pengaruh menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor depresi lansia sebelum diberi senam tai chi dan guided imagery adalah 7,53, sedangkan rata-rata skor depresi sesudah diberi senam tai chi dan guided imagery adalah 5,13. Hasil ini menunjukkan ada perbedaan mean sebesar 2,4. Hasil uji statistik dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh senam tai chi dan guided imagery terhadap penurunan depresi pada lansia (p value 0,000 < α= 0,05).

Abstract

: One of the efforts is towards healthy behavior through a program known as the Clean and Healthy Behavior Program (PHBS) which is carried out systematically and coordinated. The Effects of Play for Increasing Children's Knowledge Games can increase affiliation with peers, reduce pressure, improve cognitive development and can reduce potentially dangerous behaviors. This study aims to determine the effect of education on PHBS knowledge in junior high school students and students in the city of Bengkulu. The design used was a quasi experiment using a pre-post test design with control group design. the subject group was observed before the intervention, then observed again after the intervention. The sample was taken using simple random sampling with 30 people in one group and the entire study sample was 60 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire made by Titi Sari Banun. Analysis used the Wilcoxon test to compare anxiety variables in groups, while the Mann Whitney-U test was used to compare anxiety variables in both groups. The results of the statistical test show p = 0.009 <α 0.05. so that it can be concluded that there is a difference in average PHBS knowledge before and after being given the educational game board POPOHIDATKU and it can be concluded that there is an influence of the educational board game POPOHIDATKU on Knowledge of PHBS in middle school children aged 13 years in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The mother's mental health during pregnancy can affect the psychological, emotional, and social development conditions for mothers and their babies, especially during a pandemic. This study aims to see how the mental state of pregnant women / anxiety levels during the Covid-19 pandemic in Bengkulu City. This type of research is an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional design. The population is all pregnant women in Bengkulu City. This research was conducted at the Independent Practice Midwife (BPM) Susi and the Mutiara Agma Betungan Clinic (BPM Herma Nelis) in September-November 2021. Sampling Technique, which is non-random sampling with purposive sampling method and the number of samples is 82 people. The research instrument uses a questionnaire, NuPDQ in Indonesian developed by Dr. Marci Lobel and colleagues and translated and tested for validity by Santoso, which was designed in a google form. . Data is processed with computer programs, presented univariately in the form of tables and graphs. Data analysis using proportional measures and measures of centering and Bivariate with Chi Square at a ? 5% and Multivariate analysis using multiple Logistic Regression Tests. The results of the study were obtained Most respondents experienced anxiety in the low category and there was no relationship between maternal characteristics and the anxiety levels of pregnant women during the Covid 19 pandemic

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence are ranked first in cases of violence against children. The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) stated that from 2011-2016 there were 1,875 cases of sexual violence in early childhood. This study aimed to determine the effect of educational videos on the knowledge of elementary school children about sexual violence in the State of Bengkulu City in 2021.This research is quasi-experimental. The sample size of 60 students for each of the 30 intervention groups and 30 control groups. Analysis using Mann Whitney. The results showed that the average knowledge before intervention in the intervention group was 9.70 and in the control group was 10.73. The average knowledge after intervention in the intervention group was 13.93 and in the control group was 10.80. The analysis showed a significant difference in increasing the average value about maturation after marriage knowledge between groups before and after the intervention with a p value of 0.000. Thus, it is necessary to develop learning and educational methods, to increase health promotion activities, to increase the knowledge of elementary school children about sexual violence

Abstract

Lower Back Pain (LBP) is pain that is felt in the lower back area. Based on the 2020 International Association for the Study of Pain, it shows that the results of the prevalence of LBP are estimated at ± 7.5% of the global population or around 577 million people who experience LBP. In Indonesia, data on the number of LBP sufferers themselves is not known with certainty, but it is estimated that the numbers vary from 7.6% to 37% of the total population in Indonesia. The prevalence of musculoskeletal diseases in Indonesia is 7.9% and there are three provinces with the highest prevalence, namely Aceh (13.3%), Bengkulu (10.5%) and Bali (8.5%). The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of William Flexion Exercise (WFE) on lower back pain for nurses at RSUD Dr.M. Yunus Bengkulu City. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pre-post test design with control group, the sample is inpatient nurses in Seruni and Melati rooms at RSUD Dr. M. Yunus City of Bengkulu, totaling 28 people using Purposive Sampling technique. The results showed that the average value of low back pain before being given intervention in the intervention group was 6.00 while the average value of low back pain before being given intervention in the control group was 5.00. There is a difference in the average value of low back pain in the intervention group 1.00 and the control group 2.00. It can be concluded that William's flexion exercise is more influential than McKenzie's extension exercise.

Abstract

Breast milk is the  primary source of nutrition essential for infant growth and development. However, However, many mothers experience difficulties in breast milk production after childbirth, including first-time mothers lacking breastfeeding experience and those who have previously given birth. Several factors influence lactation, with breast care being a key determinant. Despite its importance, many postpartum mothers lack knowledge about proper breast care, leading to insufficient milk production that fails to meet their infants' needs. A combination of Oketani and rolling massage has been suggested as an effective intervention for enhancing milk production. The Oketani and rolling massage method is a specialized breast management technique known to improve milk production without causing discomfort. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Oketani and rolling massage on increasing breast milk production among postpartum mothers at the Bengkulu City health center. The research employed a quasi-experimental design (pre-posttest with a control group), involving a sample of 60 postpartum mothers—30 in the intervention group and 30 in the control group. Breast milk production was measured before and after the intervention over five consecutive days.  The findings, analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test, indicated a statistically significant effect of the intervention on breast milk production (ρ = 0.000 < α 0.05). Keywords: Breast Milk; Oketani Massage; Rolling Massage; Postpartum
