Abstract

Tulisan ini membicarakan bagaimanakah fenomena ketimpangan sosial digambarkan dalam teks-teks sastra Indonesia mutakhir dan relasi antara potret ketimpangan sosial tersebut dengan realitas. Untuk menjawab dua persoalan tersebut digunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra dan semiotika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di antara ketiga teks sastra yang diteliti, yakni ?Sajak Burung-Burung Kondor?, teks drama Konglomerat Burisrawa, dan novel Larung sebagai representasi teks-teks sastra Indonesia mutakhir terdapat benang merah tematik, yakni fenomena ketimpangan sosial. Fenomena ketimpangan sosial dalam ?Sajak Burung-Burung Kondor? disampaikan secara langsung dengan mengoposisikan perbedaan nasib yang dialami oleh dua kelas sosial. Fenomena ketimpangan sosial dalam Konglomerat Burisrawa disampaikan dalam bentuk komedi satir yang tidak bersifat langsung. Fenomena ketimpangan sosial dalam Larung disampaikan untuk memperkuat ilustrasi cerita utama yang berfokus pada kisah-kisah romantik dan epik tokoh-tokohnya dalam memperjuangkan prinsip-prinsip hidup. Makna atas penggambaran fenomena ketimpangan sosial dalam ketiga teks sastra tersebut adalah sebagai refleksi literer atas fakta sosial yang ada. Abstract: This paper will discuss two main issues of how the phenomenon of social inequality depicted in the Indonesian literary texts to date and the relationship between the portrait of social inequality with current realities. To answer there two questions, the sociology of literature and semiotics are used. Results show that among the three literary texts studied, namely the ?Burung-Burung Kondor Rhyme?, dramatic text of Konglomerat Burisrawa, and novel Larung as a representation of Indonesian literary texts there are advanced thematic thread about the phenomenon of social inequality. The phenomenon of social inequality in the ?Rhyme of Burung-Burung Kondor? is communicated directly by contrasting it with the fate differences experienced by these two social classes. The phenomenon of social inequality in the Konglomerat Burisawa is delivered in the form of indirect satirical comedy. The phenomenon of social inequality in Larung is made to strengthen the illustrations of feature stories that focus on romantic stories and the characters in the epic fight for the principles of life. The meaning of the depiction of social inequality in all three phenomena of literary text above is a literal reflection of existing social facts. Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the composruon, transmission. and performance of Tanggap Wacana Suroboyoan. In conducting the research. the writer uses descriptive-qua I ital ive method. The resu It of this research indicates that Tanggap Wacana Suroboyoan, presented in reception nuptials of Java subculture society. lapped over in a very flexible composition. There is no consistency and equality of composition among different pamedar sabda since they studied the Wacana Suroboyoan through few different methods, such as: autodidact, learning in courses institute. or learning from available books. In performance, pamedar sabda is trying to come up by using kromo inggil style of Surakarta Javanese. Nevertheless, they often fail to string up existing vocabularies between Indonesian dictions and Javanese ngoko from local dialect.

Abstract

Age does not limit someone to continue working, independent, knowledgeable, capable and creative. With cultural activities can motivate the elderly to continue to develop creative power, so that the elderly life the rest of their lives full of enthusiasm and happiness. Cultural activities through elderly meetings which are held once every 2 weeks are certainly very useful to support their mental-spiritual health and encourage staying active. The Community Partnership Program is focused on singing and creating art. Basically, the synergy between the community and the elderly continues to be active and happy for the rest of their lives, which needs to be supported by universities as a source of expertise in science, technology and art (IPTEKS) that will accelerate the implementation and implementation of activities, because the three are an inseparable part.abstrakUsia tidak membatasi seseorang untuk terus berkarya, mandiri, berilmu, cakap dan kreatif. Dengan kegiatan budaya dapat memotivasi lansia tetap mengembangkan daya kreatif , sehingga  para lansia menjalani sisa hidupnya penuh semangat dan bahagia. Kegiatan budaya melalui temu lansia yang diadakan setiap seminggu 2 sekali tentu sangat bermanfaat menunjang kesehatan mental-spiritual mereka dan menyemangati tetap aktif. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini di fokuskan pada kegiatan bernyanyi dan berkarya seni. Pada dasarnya sinergi antara masyarakat dan para lansia tetap beraktivitas dan bahagia dalam sisa hidupnya perlu didukung oleh Perguruan Tinggi sebagai penyedia sumber kepakaran ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni (IPTEKS) akan mempercepat pelaksanaan dan implementasi kegiatan, karena ketiganya merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan.

Abstract

This study investigates the ways bottom-up learning, specifically discovery and project-based learning, in strengthening local wisdom and identities among the youths in Surabaya. The local identities of Surabaya are generally associated with being egalitarian, urban, and multicultural. Despite the strong association of Surabaya with the bravery of Surabaya youths in the 1945 war against the Allied troops (semangat arek Suroboyo), young people of Surabaya nowadays do not internalize the spirit strongly. Our preliminary observation suggests the fact, and this can be seen from their writings before joining the writing class that we conducted. In coordination with the Public Library of Surabaya (Municipal Library and Archive of Surabaya) and community-based libraries in Surabaya, this experimental research was conducted to gain insights on the extent to which discovery and project-based learning can stimulate junior high school students to be more aware of their locally rooted identities. The study shows that the application of the student-centered learning methods can contribute significantly to the internalization and representation of Surabaya identities reflected in the students’ writings.
