Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the factors that influence dividend policy. The independent variables in this study consist of return on assets, current ratio, debt to equity, company size, total asset turnover, and asset growth. The data for this research are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014-2020 period. This study used 10 companies and 70 samples and the sample selection procedure used was purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and multiple panel regression. Return on assets and firm size has a positive effect on dividend policy. Its because the return can used by company to share the dividend to shareholders and bigger the company means more assets that could converted into cash. Debt to equity has a negative effect on dividend policy because the company have to pay their obligation, so the company cannot pay the dividend. Meanwhile the other variables have no effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of Liquidity, Leverage, Sales Growth, Firm Age, and Firm Size on Profitability. The object of research used is the infrastructure sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2022. This study uses secondary data and the sample used infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016-2022. The research method used is purposive sampling and there are 20 companies that meet the research criteria out of a total of 42 companies, resulting in a total sample of 120 samples. The research analysis is done using multiple linear regression method with panel data. The results showed that Liquidity, Sales Growth, and Firm Size have a significant positive effect on profitability, while Firm Age, and Leverage have a significant negative effect on profitability. High liquidity increases the company's ability to meet unexpected losses or cash needs without having to sell investments prematurely. Increasing sales growth indicates that the company performs well, therefore it can generate high revenue, which in turn leads to higher profitability, which in turn will ultimately make the company considered highly profitable. Then, a large company allows the company to achieve better economies of scale, access better markets, and increase investor and customer confidence. So that in the end it can increase the company's profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of price and brand image on buying interest through consumer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research is conducted in the context of the KAC Accessories Collection Store, Genuk Semarang Branch, a small-scale fashion retail business facing increasing competition. Understanding the determinants of buying interest is therefore essential to improve retail performance. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 96 consumers through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The research model tested both direct and indirect relationships between price, brand image, consumer satisfaction, and buying interest. The results indicate that price and brand image have a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Furthermore, price, brand image, and consumer satisfaction significantly influence buying interest. Consumer satisfaction is found to partially mediate the relationship between price, brand image, and buying interest, highlighting the importance of post-consumption evaluation in shaping consumer intentions. These findings imply that retail managers should implement value-based pricing strategies, strengthen brand image, and enhance consumer satisfaction to increase buying interest. This study contributes to the retail marketing literature by extending satisfaction-based mediation models to small-scale fashion retail businesses, which remain relatively underexplored.
