Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the tourism industry in Indonesia and the world. After the pandemic has recovered, all sectors of the tourism industry in the world have adapted to the new normal life, including the Bukit Cemara tourist destination in Karangasem Regency. This study aims to examine the development strategy of Bukit Cemara tourism attraction in Karangasem Regency towards friendly attraction in order that the number of tourist visits can increase significantly. This study uses a qualitative research method based on literature review, observation and interviews with the support of the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) analysis tool. This study concludes that tourism management in Bukit Cemara has not been maximized. Therefore, a development strategy is needed that includes the role of several elements to become friendly tourism. Among them are the needs for the role of traditional villages and local society, the maximum role of local governments, improvement of aware of tourism work, active involvement of academics related to human resource development in developing friendly tourism.

Abstract

Pemerintah Provinsi Bali menjadikan pandemi Covid-19 sebagai momentum dalam melakukan transformasi fundamental agar ketangguhan ekonomi dapat terbentuk. Sektor UMKM menjadi salah satu dari enam sektor ekonomi unggulan di Provinsi Bali. Pengembangan kewirausahaan UMKM sangat penting dilakukan untuk penguatan sektor UMKM pasca Pandemi Covid-19. Program Studi Sarjana Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Bisnis dan Pariwisata Universitas Hindu Indonesia melakukan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang ditujukkan kepada 30 orang pelaku UMKM di Desa Tegal Harum, Kecamatan Denpasar Utara. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali pelaku UMKM dengan kemampuan menyusun Business Plan, sehingga nantinya usahanya yang dijalankan dapat lebih terarah serta menarik bagi pendanaan dari para investor. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode pendampingan, pelatihan, dan diskusi serta evaluasi. Seluruh pelaku UMKM di Desa Tegal Harus secara aktif mengikuti seluruh kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini.

Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya proporsi penduduk muda di Indonesia serta kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya penampilan dan kesehatan kulit, industri kecantikan nasional menunjukkan perkembangan yang pesat dengan lahirnya berbagai merek kosmetik lokal. Tren penggunaan produk lokal juga mencerminkan peningkatan kualitas yang mampu bersaing dengan merek internasional. Di Bali, merek kosmetik lokal tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai produk kecantikan, tetapi juga sebagai suvenir bagi wisatawan mancanegara yang secara langsung berkontribusi pada pengembangan sektor pariwisata. Lebih jauh lagi, produk kosmetik lokal terbukti memiliki daya saing yang kuat terhadap produk kosmetik dari negara lain. Berdasarkan data BPOM, terdapat 56 industri kosmetik di Provinsi Bali yang telah menotifikasikan 1.675 item produk, memberikan jaminan kepada masyarakat terkait keamanan, manfaat, mutu, dan legalitas produk kosmetik yang dihasilkan UMKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menjelaskan pengaruh orientasi pasar dan kapabilitas pemasaran terhadap kinerja pemasaran industri kosmetik lokal di Provinsi Bali, baik secara langsung maupun melalui hubungan tidak langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi 56 industri kosmetik lokal yang tersebar di sembilan kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Bali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antar variabel dalam model. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris mengenai pentingnya peran orientasi pasar dan kapabilitas pemasaran dalam meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran industri kosmetik lokal di Provinsi Bali. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini memperkaya literatur strategi pemasaran khususnya mengenai hubungan antarvariabel secara langsung maupun mediasi. Secara praktis, penelitian ini menekankan urgensi pemanfaatan kapabilitas pemasaran yang tepat guna mendukung keberlanjutan industri kosmetik lokal di Provinsi Bali.
