Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intellectual capital on the company's financial performance and the influuence of firm size as a moderating variable between intellectual capital and the financial performance of the consumption sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique with a total of 120 companies. The results of the analysis based on statistical tests that intellectual capital has a positive effect on the company's financial performance and firm size succeeded in moderating the relationship of intellectual capital with the financial performance of the consumption sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the tourism industry in Indonesia and the world. After the pandemic has recovered, all sectors of the tourism industry in the world have adapted to the new normal life, including the Bukit Cemara tourist destination in Karangasem Regency. This study aims to examine the development strategy of Bukit Cemara tourism attraction in Karangasem Regency towards friendly attraction in order that the number of tourist visits can increase significantly. This study uses a qualitative research method based on literature review, observation and interviews with the support of the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) analysis tool. This study concludes that tourism management in Bukit Cemara has not been maximized. Therefore, a development strategy is needed that includes the role of several elements to become friendly tourism. Among them are the needs for the role of traditional villages and local society, the maximum role of local governments, improvement of aware of tourism work, active involvement of academics related to human resource development in developing friendly tourism.

Abstract

This study was carried out to explore how total quality management enhances employee performance by utilizing job satisfaction as an intermediary factor. This study focuses on 35 contract workers within the Student Transport Sector of the Gianyar Regency Transportation Service, using census methods. The process of data gathering using a questionnaire that utilized a Likert Scale with five options for respondents to choose from. Path analysis and the Sobel test are utilized to conduct hypothesis testing. The analysis results demonstrate that total quality management positively and significantly impacts employee performance and job satisfaction, and job satisfaction positively and significantly influences employee performance

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the economic potential of Bangli Regency from the perspective of sectoral distribution towards economic growth during the period 2019-2023This research employs a quantitative descriptive approach utilizing three analytical methods: LQ-DLQ, Klassen typology, and shift-share analysis. Primary data sources consist of secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bali Province and Bangli Regency, complemented by primary data gathered from relevant informants. The study observes the period from 2019 to 2023 to examine the structural changes and sectoral distribution of the economy before and after the COVID-19 pandemic, using GRDP as an indicator. Economic sectors in Bangli Regency are categorized into 17 sectors, evaluated through LQ-DLQ methodology to identify leading sectors and potential economic bases. Findings are interpreted using Klassen typology and shift-share analysis to assess regional economic growth performance and competitiveness. Based on the empirical study conducted, the research findings reveal several key insights into the economic sectors of Bangli Regency from 2019 to 2023. The study identifies significant potential in both basic and non-basic sectors. Basic economic sectors with notable potential include agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; mining and quarrying; manufacturing industry; wholesale and retail trade; motor vehicle and motorcycle repair; government administration, defense, and mandatory social security; as well as other services. Non-basic sectors showing promise encompass electricity and gas supply; water supply, waste management, recycling; construction; transportation and warehousing; accommodation and food services; information and communication; financial and insurance activities; real estate; and corporate services. Furthermore, the research categorizes economic sectors into those demonstrating fast growth and competitiveness versus those with slower growth but still competitive. Sectors exhibiting rapid growth and competitiveness include manufacturing industry; water supply, waste management, recycling; construction; wholesale and retail trade, motor vehicle and motorcycle repair; information and communication; real estate; health and social activities; and other services. Conversely, sectors with slower growth yet competitive aspects comprise electricity and gas supply; transportation and warehousing; accommodation and food services; and corporate services. Moreover, sectors experiencing rapid growth but lacking competitiveness consist of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; mining and quarrying; government administration, defense, and mandatory social security; education services; and financial and insurance activities. These insights provide a comprehensive understanding of how different economic sectors contribute to the dynamic economic landscape of Bangli Regency, guiding future policy directions and development strategies for sustainable economic growth and local community welfare enhancement.

Abstract

Factors including professional advancement opportunities, work disciplline, and a positive work environmen may have on impact on how well employees perform. A person's capacity to get their ideal job is enhanced via career development. The capacity to consistently and methodically complete tasks is what mean when we tallk about work discipliine. When workers go about their daily tasks, the workplace plays a significant role. This reserch ams to determin the impact of carier developmen, work disciplline, and enviroment an employe performancee, both individually and in combination. At PT XYZ, the research was caried out. The 38 employees were all included in the total for the pourpose of this studi. Saturation sampling was used to decide that a total of 38 persons would be include in the samplle. Data wass colected via interviews, written records, and questionnaires using Likert scales. This research made use of mulltiple linear regresion. The evidence shows that carer advancement opportunities, work disciplin, and a pleasant work enviroment have a favorable and substantial efect on employe performanc. When professional development possibilities, work disciplline, and the worrk environment are all taken into account simultaneously, they have a possitiv and substantial influence on employse performnce. It is recomended that career development options be expanded upon, the important of work disciplline be highlighted, and a good work environmen be maintained in order to promote continual improvement in employe performan.
