Abstract

Perusahaan Pertambangan Minyak dan Gas Bumi Negara (Pertamina) mengoperasikan beberapa kilang minyak di dalam negeri. Operasi dan proses di kilang minyak terdapat bahan kimia dalam bensin, maka penting untuk mengukur konsentrasi xylena, melihat mana yang mempengaruhi dan memberikan perbaikan desain untuk tindakan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja yang tepat. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 16 pekerja yang memiliki risiko terpapar xylene lebih tinggi. Tata cara pengambilan dan analisis sampel mengacu pada Gastec 122DL. Pengujian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis fakta menggunakan uji beda dan uji pembeda. Pekerja pada pekerja kilang minyak yang terpengaruh signifikan terhadap konsentrasi paparan xylene adalah usia (U = 13,329), praktik K3 (U = 26,124), penggunaan APD (U = 9,042), kebiasaan merokok (U = 85), jumlah bensin yang tersedia (U = 0,891) dan instalasi (U = 18,032). Rancangan perbaikan yang dapat diwujudkan dalam jangka pendek adalah penggunaan APD dan berdiri berlawanan arah angin.Abstract[Improvement on Working System Based on Xylene Exposure Analysis on Employee of  Oil Refinery XYZ] The State Oil and Gas Mining Company (Pertamina) operates several oil refineries in the country. Operations and processes at oil refinery contain chemicals in gasoline. So, it is important to measure the concentration of xylene concentration, see which affects and provide design improvements for appropriate occupational health and safety measures. Sampling was carried out on 16 workers who had a higher risk of xylene exposure. The procedure for taking and analyzing samples refers to Gastec 122DL. The test used to analyze the facts uses the difference test and display test. Workers at oil refinery. Workers who have a significant effect on the concentration of xylene exposure are age (U = 13,329), K3 practice (U = 26,124), use of PPE (U = 9,042), smoking habits (U = 85), the amount of gasoline available (U = 0.891) and installation (U = 18.032). The design of improvements that can be realized in the short term is the use of PPE and standing in opposite directions the wind.Keywords: exposure analysis; repair work system; Xylene.

Abstract

There are many brands of two-wheeled vehicles, one of which is Honda. Entering 1982 to 1984 Honda released the CB 100 and CB 125 with a more attractive appearance. In the type of CB in 1978 to Tiger Revo 2012 has a change in shape that shows the development of innovation. To fulfil the demands of work in the workshop, mechanics experience various types of movements such as moving, bending, turning, holding machines and installing manually without the help of ergonomic aids. This study was conducted on 5 workshop mechanics located in 33 districts/cities in Central Java province. The research results from 5 mechanics resulted in a high risk level using the NERPA, WERA and KIM methods. Then the improvement proposal is made with the design of a tool design in the form of a mechanical work table so that it can reduce the occurrence of Musculoskeletal Disorders. in calculation with tools to disassembling the machine obtained results in the NERPA method of 4 which means the activity has a medium risk. In the WERA method assessment, the final risk value is 33 with a medium risk value. The third calculation using KIM obtained a final risk value of 40 at level 2, meaning that the intensity increased slightly. The calculation of raising the machine obtained a NERPA value of 4 with a medium risk. The WERA method obtained a value of 38 with medium risk. The third calculation using KIM obtained a value of 35 with a level 2 value.

Abstract

Glass is one of the most adaptable modern materials. However, the use of glass can have unfavorable effects such as glare, heat, and discomfort. This study focuses on the issue of designing contemporary glass buildings and facades in humid tropical environments to evaluate the thermal comfort of building occupants and assess its effects on the completion of cognitive tasks. The Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) parameter was used to measure thermal comfort, and the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers) scale was used to assess thermal comfort perception. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment was used to assess eight female respondents’ cognitive abilities, and the cut-off point was 26. The WBGT has a temperature range of 25, 54°–28, 83°C, in terms of thermal sensation, 54% of respondents feel hot and 62% are uncomfortable. In the completion of cognitive tasks, 75% received a score of less than 26. The results show that there is an effect of thermal comfort on cognitive performance. Due to respondents feeling uncomfortable in high-rise buildings with glass facades, as well as with cognitive outcomes that are below the cut-off point, recommendations for improvement are needed to increase thermal comfort, such as double glass facades.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Welding is one of several jobs that contributes to work-related accidents and illnesses. The process carried out in this work is the process of making metal structures by cutting, bending and joining, as well as polishing, painting or coating metal pieces which is also in line with other processes. Various risks of work accidents during welding can be caused by unsafe acts and these unsafe acts can be influenced by several factors. This research aims to determine the faktors related to unsafe actions. The method used in this research is a literature review which uses 10 reference journals originating from Google Scholar, Research Gate, Springer and other journal publications with a range of publication years in the last 10 years, namely from 2014 to 2024. The results of this research show that the Factors that influence unsafe actions among welding workers are attitude, knowledge, character and availability of PPE. it can be concluded that there are many factors that influence unsafe actions among welding workers. Therefore, it is recommended that companies provide complete PPE, provide training and tighten security to reduce the risk of unsafe actions that can cause work accidents. Keywords: Welding, Unsafe Act, Attitude, Knowledge, availability of PPE  ABSTRAK Pengelasan (welding) merupakan satu diantara beberapa pekerjaan yang memberikan kontribusi kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja. Proses yang dilakukan pada pekerjaan ini yaitu proses pembuatan struktur logam dengan memotong, membengkokkan, dan menyambung, serta memoles, pengecatan atau pelapisan potongan logam yang juga sejalan dengan proses lainnya. Berbagai risiko kecelakaan kerja pada pengelasan tersebut dapat disebabkan adanya unsafe act (tindakan tidak aman) dan Tindakan tidak aman tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang berhubungan dengan Tindakan tidak aman.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literatur review yang menggunakan 10 jurnal acuan yang berasal dari google scholar, research gate, springer dan publikasi jurnal lainnya dengan rentang tahun publikasi 10 tahun terakhir yaitu dari tahun 2014 hingga tahun 2024.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Tindakan tidak aman pada pekerja pengelasan adalah sikap, pengetahuan, karakter, dan ketersediaan APD. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi Tindakan tidak aman pada pekerja pengelasan.  Oleh karena itu disarankan kepada perusahaan untuk dapat menyediakan APD secara lengkap, mengadakan pelatihan, dan memperketat keamanan guna mengurangi risiko terjadinya Tindakan tidak aman yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Kata Kunci: Pengelasan, Tindakan Tidak Aman, Sikap, Pengetahuan, Ketersediaan APD
