Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the public prosecutor in the application of PERJA Number 15 of 2020 concerning Termination of Prosecution Based on Restorative Justice against criminal cases of theft and to determine the role of the prosecutor in the future in implementing Restorative Justice against criminal acts of theft whose losses have been recovered exceeding Rp 2,500,000,- (Two Million Five Hundred Thousand). This type of research is empirical juridical legal research, where the data is obtained from the field and described following the actual reality. The results of the study show that (1) cases that were settled based on PERJA Number 15 of 2020 concerning Termination of Prosecution Based on Restorative Justice must prioritize a peace agreement between the two parties by taking into account three main elements, namely the suspect is the first time to commit a crime, a crime only threatened with imprisonment of not more than 5 (five) years, and the loss of a crime not more than Rp 2,500,000,- (two million five hundred thousand rupiah). (2) The Public Prosecutor is considered to be too rigid in interpreting the phrase in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter c in which the loss of a criminal act cannot be more than Rp 2,500,000,- (two million five hundred thousand rupiah), even though there has been an agreement peace between the two parties, and the victim's losses have been restored to their original state, with an additional Rp 12,000,000,- (twelve million rupiahs). The application of Restorative Justice by the Public Prosecutor is not always fixed on the nominal limit according to the PERMA of Rp 2,500,000- (two million five hundred thousand rupiah) to realize the original condition, which is intended so that the victim who initially felt aggrieved due to the suspect's actions feels restored to his condition so that a peace agreement can be created between the victim and the perpetrator.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the relationship between level of education, occupation, dan number of hobbies with mild cognitive impairment in middle age. The study was conducted among healthy sample in Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital and its network from March to May 2012. This  research is an observational study. The samples were examined using CERAD test to assess mild cognitive impairment as a dependent variable in middle age group, and were related to education level, occupation and number of hobby as an independent variables. The data were analyzed using chi square and other test according to study goals and measurement scale. The results of the study reveals significant relationship between level of education, occupation and number of hobbies (significancy for each variable : 0,000) Low education, unemployment and less number of hobbies were powerfull risks of developing mild cognitive impairment.

Abstract

This study investigates the incorporation of Bugis-Makassar's local wisdom values into content creators’ digital communication ethics. In the contemporary era, where social media serves as a platform for expression and community building, this study sought to develop a communication ethics model grounded in local values. Values such as "sipakatau" (mutual respect), "siri' na pacce" (honor and empathy), "lempu'" (honesty), "sipakalebbi" (mutual respect), and "sipakainge" (mutual reminder) are identified as foundational to local ethics. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research integrates literature analysis, interviews, and observations of three prominent content creators in Makassar who are active on TikTok and YouTube. An analysis was conducted on ten pieces of content, with three selected for their strong correlations with customary genres. The study revealed variations in ethics applications among content creators and a positive correlation between local wisdom values and audience engagement. The findings indicate that applying Bugis-Makassar's local wisdom values to digital communication reinforces cultural identity and fosters community solidarity. The resulting ethical model balances individual expression with social responsibility. Content creators face challenges when balancing popularity with traditional values. This study contributes to the understanding of the revitalization of traditional values in modern technology, affirming the relevance of local wisdom in shaping responsible digital communication ethics.   Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Bugis-Makassar dalam etika komunikasi digital kreator konten. Di era media sosial sebagai sarana ekspresi ide dan membangun komunitas, penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan model etika komunikasi berbasis nilai lokal yang masih relevan untuk komunikasi bermartabat dan inklusif. Nilai-nilai seperti "sipakatau" (saling menghormati), "siri' na pacce" (kehormatan dan empati), "lempu'" (kejujuran), "sipakalebbi" (saling memuliakan), dan "sipakainge" (saling mengingatkan) diidentifikasi sebagai fondasi etika lokal yang masih sangat relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, mengintegrasikan analisis literatur, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi terhadap tiga kreator konten terkemuka di Makassar yang aktif di platform TikTok dan YouTube. Analisis dilakukan pada sepuluh konten dan disarikan menjadi 3 terpilih dengan korelasi kuat dengan genre adat dan perilaku sosial. Penelitian mengungkapkan variasi dalam penerapan etika di antara kreator konten dan korelasi positif antara penerapan nilai kearifan lokal dengan keterlibatan audiens. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai kearifan lokal Bugis-Makassar dalam komunikasi digital tidak hanya memperkuat identitas budaya, tetapi juga membangun kepercayaan dan solidaritas komunitas dalam jaringan. Model etika yang dihasilkan menekankan keseimbangan antara ekspresi individual dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam menciptakan konten bermakna dan bernilai budaya. Kreator konten menghadapi tantangan dalam menyeimbangkan tuntutan popularitas dengan kepatuhan terhadap nilai-nilai tradisional. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman revitalisasi nilai-nilai tradisional dalam konteks teknologi modern, menegaskan relevansi kearifan lokal dalam membentuk etika komunikasi digital yang bertanggung jawab dan mencerminkan kekayaan budaya Indonesia.
