Abstract

This study aimed 1) to find out how to design Android -based English learning media on descriptive text material, 2) to determine the feasibility of Android -based English learning media on descriptive text material at MTS N 2 Surakarta. This study used research and development (R & D) research methods with the research procedure model proposed by Dick and Carey and the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques were through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Feasibility validation was carried out by media experts, material experts, and English teachers from MTs N 2 Surakarta. Data analysis was using a Likert scale to determine the percentage score of the media feasibility and passes black box testing. The results of this study were 1) to produce an Android -based English learning media on descriptive text material. From the results of the black box testing carried out, the learning media could be operated properly on Android smartphones according to their needs and functions, 2) the feasibility of Android . based English learning media on descriptive text material according to the assessment of media experts was to get a feasibility percentage of 76% with a feasible category, assessment from material experts was to get a feasibility percentage of 82% with a very decent category, and the feasibility assessment by ant English teacher at MTs N 2 Surakarta was to get a feasibility percentage of 80% with a decent category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the Paired Story Telling learning model in the storytelling skills of students in integrative thematic learning, to find out the advantages and disadvantages of using the Paired Story Telling learning model in the storytelling skills of students in integrative thematic learning. The research method used is a type of qualitative research. The research subjects were grade 3 students. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used was data reduction, data display and verifying. The validity of the data using the triangulation of sources and techniques credibility test. The results showed that the use of the Paired Story Telling learning model in the storytelling skills of students in integrative thematic learning in class 3 was stated in the good category, namely 50% because the teacher always invited students to do storytelling activities in the learning process. The advantages and disadvantages of the Paired Story Telling learning model in the storytelling skills of students in integrative thematic learning in grade 3 are that it can improve students' storytelling skills in integrative thematic learning.

Abstract

Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan memiliki tujuan yaitu pengunaan media YouTube dapat mempermudah pemahaman materi secara lebih luas dan peserta didik tidak bosan saat belajar khususnya pada materi pembelajaran materi tema 7 Panas dan Perpindahannya, dapat mengetahui apa saja kelebihan dan kekurangan media YouTube dalam proses pembelajaran tematik intergratif tema 7 Panas dan Perpindahannya, dapat mengetahui bagaimana respon peserta didik dalam penggunaan media YouTube dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wali kelas dan peserta didik kelas V MI Ulumul Quran Ali Bin Abi Thalib Surakarta. Sumber data yang diperoleh berupa sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan dengan kepala sekolah, wali kelas, dan peserta didik kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analis data menggunakan Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data menurut Miles and Huberman dengan melakukan beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Penggunaan media YouTube pada peserta didik hkususnya kelas V sangat cocok digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik serta dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi khususnya tema 7 panas dan perpindahannya. 2) Keloebihan dari media YouTube ini adalah mudah dan efisien serta peserta didik tidak mudah bosan saat belajar, sedangkan kekurangan dari media YouTube ini diantaranya sebagian dari peserta didik menjadi melas membaca buku. 3) Respon dari peserta didik sangatlah antusias dan peserta didik langsung fokus melihat video pembelajaran saat pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are 1) To find out the application of the Demonstration Method in Integrative Thematic Learning in Class V of SDN SEKIP II Surakarta in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. 2) To find out the impact of using the Demonstration Method on Integrative Thematic Learning in Class V of SDN SEKIP II Surakarta in the 2020/2021 Academic Year. This type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects used in this study were students in class V at SEKIP II Surakarta Public Elementary School for the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection methods are interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Structured interviews were used to obtain the required information. The research questionnaire was used to obtain data. Documentation in the form of student data, lesson plans, photos of research activities, and school profiles. The validity of the data uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis in this study includes data reduction. Data presentation and verification. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the following results are obtained: 1) The use of the demonstration method in integrative thematic learning in class V SEKIP II Surakarta State Elementary School, creates a pleasant atmosphere that is not boring because the demonstration method can help students learn about an event or thing others in learning directly even if only with a replica of an object or an imitation of an event that is being conveyed or explained by the class teacher. 2) The impact of using this demonstration method can accelerate students' understanding of the messages presented in an incident or other things conveyed by the teacher. With this, it can increase focus on learning by students.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) to analyze learning discipline in participating in timely online learning for fifth-grade students at SDN Sekip II Surakarta. 2) To analyze the discipline of learning in submitting assignments on time at SDN Sekip II Surakarta. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects used in this study were students in class V of Sekip II State Elementary School Surakarta for the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection methods are observation, structured interviews, and documentation. Observations were used to obtain initial data obtained from class teachers regarding the learning discipline of fifth-grade students at SDN Sekip Surakarta. Structured interviews were used to obtain the required information. Documentation in the form of student name data, photos of research activities, and school profiles. The validity of the data uses source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis in this study includes data reduction. Presentation of data, and verification. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the following results are obtained: 1) the learning discipline of students in participating in online learning in class V SD Negeri Sekip II Surakarta is said to be good. Some students are disciplined in participating in online learning and some students are not yet disciplined in participating in online learning. Students who are already disciplined in taking part in online learning, that is, always take part in learning on time and take part in learning in an orderly manner. Meanwhile, students who are not disciplined in participating in online learning are not punctual in participating in learning and are not orderly when participating in learning. 2) the learning discipline of students in submitting assignments on time in class V SD Negeri Sekip II Surakarta is said to be good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze problem solving in mathematics word problems on pengukuran material and to describe what factors influence problem solving in mathematics word problems on pengukuran material for high, medium, and low category students in Class IV of SDN Jembangan 1 in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research was conducted at SDN Jembangan 1 in the 2022/2023 academic year with descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research subjects were fourth grade students. Using triangulation techniques. Learners with high categories are able to understand the problem, make plans and carry out plans. Learners are able to look back at answers. Learners with moderate categories are able to complete the story problem test with problem solving indicators well but in changing the unit is still wrong so that the final answer is not correct. Learners with low ability have not been able to find the right way to solve problems so that they make the answer incorrect. Abstract

     The purpose of this study is 1) Find out the results of the analysis of the integration of local wisdom values ​​in Mathematics for grade III at SDN Parangjoro 01 Academic Year 2021/2022. 2) Knowing the factors that support the implementation of the integration of local wisdom values ​​in Grade III Mathematics at SDN Parangjoro 01 Academic Year 2021/2022. 3) Knowing the factors that hinder the implementation of the integration of local wisdom values ​​in Mathematics for grade III at SDN Parangjoro 01 Academic Year 2021/2022. Interview data collection techniques, documentation and literature study. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using flash card media on the initial reading ability of class I students at SDN Tugu Jebres No.120 Surakarta in the academic year 2022/2023. This research was conducted at SDN Tugu Jebres No.120 Surakarta. The subjects in this study were class I students, totaling 28 students. The method used is experimental research type one group pretest posttest design. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis by comparing the results of the initial reading ability between the pretest and posttest. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests, observation and documentation. Judging from the hypothesis test with the Paired Sample t-test formula, it is obtained that tcount = 14.165 and ttable with d.b = so = 27 this value can be compared with the ttable value at a significant level of 5%, namely 2.052. So tcount > ttable or 14.165 > 2.052 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Keywords: Flash Card Media, Initial Reading Ability
